There is an online story circulating about a Webkinz data breach with WWIDs & passwords for Webkinz World. As a result, they have put in place a requirement that all players must update their account password before logging into Webkinz World. Players will only have to do this once to ensure the security of all player accounts.

They have streamlined this process so when you log in with your current password, you will be given a prompt telling you to update your password with a new password of a minimum of 8 characters.
