With today’s updates, Webkinz has announced the Zingoz Celebration will be held July 25 to July 31! The Wacky Zingoz Trophy will be taken out of retirement for the week if you hit over 600 in a single swing! Also, watch for the floating Wacky to click and win a prize!

This update also included updates to KinzChat Plus, the Employment Office for Deluxe Members (argh!), and the login screen.

I always go to room 31 in every zone. It seems like no one is ever there, and I get through to Doug with no problem.
I had to stop playing for a long time to collect gems because I was only keeping 1 of everything. I should have been keeping them all, all along. Oh well.

The August tree is great, I like the candy one too but prefer the August one. It is a bummer they keep using older pets that so many already have… we don’t want to use our webbie dollars to get duplicates.. not when there are some really nice new webbies who desperately need good homes 😀

Krafty, I agree about the old pets. The only reason I got one last month is because I didn’t have a white poodle. I adopted it but saved the CV tag until I saw a tree I liked and would look good in my yards.

Good Morning everyone.
Well I got my cell phone. I thought I was getting a cell phone for all the chores I do everyday but NO apparently thats not enough. So to please everyone I now have a job. Yes I’m in shock to. I have to go to this place beside my Dad’s work and clean the offices there, for 2 hours a week. They wil pay me $5 an hour. So I will have $40 at the end of the month, but my phone costs $40 a month so this phone better be worth it. Cause theres like NO getting out of this job, cause my new “boss” is also our neighbor/Dad’s co-partner/Great family freind. My Dad’s just going on and on about how grateful I should be to my new boss, and I’m just thinking “Ok, 3 hours ago I thought I was getting a phone and then u call me and make me dicide if I’m willling to get a job for it” plus he gave me like 5 seconds to decide. Then my Dad’s all saying that this is so great because when I’m older and know what I’m doing the boss will pay me more and when I can drive I’ll be even more help. and I’m like “WHAT!?!?!” I never agreed to work there the rest of my life did, I? Did he ever mention that I had to work there til I was 16? NO. So reality is now setting in, school’s gonna start soon, my *shudder* job is gonna start next week, and my fun childhood is now over. Great. (If I would have had known that I was gonna have to get a JOB to have this phone, theres NO WAY in heck I would have a phone. Not cause I expect Mom and Dad to always buy me everyhting but I just hate the thought that I have a job. I know its a pretty easy job and all, and my boss is my neighbor, and I’ve seen him in his bathing suit, its really hard for my to talk to him and not think of him in his bathing suit (LOL), but still how is this job gonna change me? Its gonne take out an HOUR from my days after school and that gives my less time to do homework and *wipes tear* PLAY WEBKINZ!!!!!!!. So Webkinz just got moved down another notch on the “things that I have time for” list. 🙁 ) So yeah I’m a working girl now. 🙄 ( 😡 )

Then theres dinner, shower, and whatever.
my NEW scheldule for after school
3:30-Go to work
4:30-Come home, Do homework
5:00-Do chores
and by 5 my Dad’s getting home and Mom is home around 4:45. So last year, when they got home, homework was done, chores were done, and we were just playing like kids do. But now I hardly have anytime to do anyhting for ME.
Maybe I’m just whining to much. . . .

Alisha-Plus its getting harder as I get older cause people assume since I’m tall I would be good in basketball (and I’m sure I could be but) I have ZERO interest in sports. None. Just never cared for them. So some people were dissapionted in me for that. Oh well I know my family will love me no matter what! 🙂

Cat, I am sorry to sound harsh, if it does, but your after school schedule (both of them) sound far better than that of FFQ. She would get home about 2:30 from school and safety patrol.. snack and chat about the day for half an hour and then home work until supper, then back to homework until .. well until it was done, frequently past bed time. No “me” time, no WW time.. oh yes plus two instruments, cello and flute…
2 hours a week isn’t very much and won’t end your childhood, it is pretty much just like two extra hours of chores. don’t know your age but you can manage that… if you were done with everything by 4-5 pm you are doing good, that leaves goofing off, WW and more time. If it is that unpleasant for you, say no thanks to the phone. Having the “job” could turn out a good thing though.. if you do well the job could expand while a teenager (as long as it doesn’t interfere with schooling) so that you can have money put towards college and such.
Basketball… well.. choose your own path there… finding a sport you really like is a good thing, I like tennis a lot, badmitton, I was so involved with band and orchestra in high school that aside from gym class there wasn’t time for a sport too. My one sister had moved to MN and that left me to do the cooking and most of the cleaning of the house plus get my mom to bed and up in the morning for work. I have always been short so I got the other end of what you hear about being tall, hehe

Madi – Congrats on your cell phone and job. Do you know how many people want a job (even part time) and can’t get one? Growing up isn’t always fun, but becoming mature has it’s rewards. You will learn a lot that will help you in so many ways in life. Always be polite, professional and courteous. You will find that hard at times, but it is a sign of a GREAT employee.

Hi Gina – So nice to see you and know that you are still “loverly”. JR has given up on collecting so many things, as there is just so much that requires eStore purchases or Trading Cards, so he really enjoys the foods. They are colorful.
He is finished with baseball and track (Runner’s Camp) for the summer and is mostly going to the pool. He still loves to stall bedtime by getting on WW. We are all in good health thanks. Only JR has any energy tho’.

As for the food & PSFs. It’s easier for JR to trade for a rare PSF, than keep searching for a TC sports car. The food collecting has it’s rewards and less disappointments.
There are many nice new folks here, just since I started coming. Gymbo, momskinz and the admins continue to attract the right kind of folks.

well we do a lot of fishing and going to the beach…My oldest will start football in a couple of weeks and the youngest (2) is starting preschool this fall.
My son wanted to do a runner’s camp but there was a conflict so he had to choose that or FB camp and football won!
We won’t be buying a whole of webkinz so I will be a bit lame in the trading department…we have some things we are saving for as a family and we’ll never get there if I start buying this stuff again…

There is never enough $ for all the webkinz you can buy. We have not been buying much (used to get at least one a month, but not anymore). We are hitting the beach in August (long wait for a vacation). JR caught his first bass this summer, so we fish when we can. JR continues to pick basketball over football. I don’t know why the sports always seem to conflict timewise. We have to pick and choose sports as the cost seems to increase with age level.
Preschool sounds like a great adventure. I hope it is fun. Make room for fingerpaintings. 🙂

FFQ started flute but fell in love with the cello while trying out instruments, with the principal’s special permission, because of her great grades, she was allowed to take band and orchestra.. she does well at both, her sister PrincessBlue took up the violin this year, an after school activity, and does well… both do and more so when they invest in practicing time, lol I used to site read my bassoon lessons but that was when I was in high school and was a bit accomplished so I could do that.. most of the time, hehehe
Being able to apply oneself, even when doing something you don’t particularly like is an important ability and self discipline to master.. helps to enable you to succeed in all subjects and in all facets in life

Krafty – I am doing me best to make sure that “practice” does not become a dirty word. I am pretty relaxed and try to make it fun (as long as he is ready for his lesson.
Work has been too buys with meetings and conference calls. Too much reading (my eyes are blurred). But it does make things hopeful to be busy.

Hey Esther. Hi myprints. I figure you have to actually enjoy playing the games and doing the activities or else you are just wrapped up in acquiring virtual items. I might suggest starting to try an Academy class or just log on once a day for dailies and try to get good at one arcade game.

I just got back from a garage sale that had like 20 webbies but i only ended up getting 3. I got a Full-size Cow (Moomoo), Full-size Gold & White Cat (Lulu’s twin), and Full-size Basset Hound! None of them had codes but they are all first edition with no magic Ws!!

Esther – we all feel so bad for you. JR saves for one new webbie a month, but does not always get one. That way he looks forward to the adoption and the actual webkinz more so than the adoption exclusives (which can be a real disappointment). Do you have a bird, so that you can get the treetop theme? tobybunny put a pet code that she traded for on her account. i am guessing they had a lot of accounts to send things to them. when mine was hacked i found 3 or 4 wwids on my phone that i hadnt added. in her case they also sent her items randomly to people. jr got some and sent them back and lana got some too i think. i do not know what happens when you log in and they are online though. maybe they are logged out

Toby, WW can track who the kinzposts were sent to, and only so many items can be moved per person per day… that would take a lot of time, I know as the account I was given I stripped to share between my girls and me and friends.. it took days to do, sorry it happened. I have never had any inkling that kinzlover had anything personally to do with this, to ruin her own rep with people she interacts with all the time wouldn’t be smart… It is beyond a shame that people stoop to stealing cirtual items from others… how pathetic

i guess the moral is don’t trade for codes…so they use the code they traded with you to access account without the password?
It’s a shame for sure…especially when its a child…it seems more disappointing than if it was just an idiot of an adult…but to be so brazen at such a young age…where do they go from here??

Gina – glad to know you can search for Zums. They reload the game every night at 8 PM. So, you can search at 7:55 PM kinz time and again at 8:00 PM kinztime. you will get a lot of food from missing the zums. Eventually you will catch a zum and tehn collect tehm (and their zummie marbles) toward prizes.
I think you need a lot of Kinz Klips to better your chances.

I was reading about the kinzklips on WI I believe it was and it was stated that after getting 10 (yes ten) klipz on an account you no longer would get food items, but a few had gotten random PSI’s.. I thought that was strange.. O.o but not too surprising that something odd like that would be awarded.
I am disappointed that WeCares prizes are awarded to Caring Valley codes.. they could really develop a theme for Caring Valley.. a nice one too, I put my Caring Valley windows in my charm forest room
