Treetop Theme & Updates
We are just starting to get a look at the eagerly anticipated Treetop Theme!
                      
Once again, though, we only get half of the theme for now, so here are the items that we think are available now:

We also have a peek at the new Mega Stove pictured on advertisements. With a whopping price tag of 2125 kc, this stove reguires 5 ingredients for recipes and of course brings new recipe items for us! The sneak peek (teaser) from Ganz yesterday is the “Mega Gunk” created by the Mega Stove.

There are also more updates for Deluxe members, and Magic Mire has been added for those who purchase the new charm codes from the estore.

Okay, I am going to be very honest . . . I am a little disappointed in the theme. I expected a little more viney, colorful, more like the Oriole bed, I guess . . . What do you think? I think it could have been more imaginative – is it just me?

I totally agree about the theme. It’s cute, but also kinda “blah”.
Went bass fishing all day yesterday and my neck is all stove up… can’t look around very well at all. 🙁 I have more ailments than an 80 year old. lol.

I agree Momskinz, I don’t like all of it very much. The bed is nice, so is the dresser and I like the TV, but would rather use the TV in a log cabin room. I hope these are not like the underwater rooms in that we will only be able to use them in tree top rooms. I don’t like that kind of restriction. I guess I figure if we pay for it we should be able to do whatever we want with it.
The stove it great for those who like to solve recipes, but I won’t spend $ on it. I’ll just trade for food.
I noticed on Webkinz News that Deluxe members will be able to change the shape of their phone. Who cares?
Can’t get logged on to WW yet. Maybe later today.

Got PC running late last night (jr stayed up way past his bedtime).
Opened WW = Please Wait. Logged out.
Opened WW, jr checked Kinzpost, then = Please Wait. Logged out.
Opened WW, jr did Zum search, then = Please Wait. Logged out.

Then jr went to bed. Hopefully he will be able to do things there tonight.
So, I had a good laugh at Krafty’s comment as to what the new glitch would be. We sure found out on jr’s account.

My thoughts on the treetop furniture…
Some designer had this Wonderful Cloud furniture idea and someone at Ganz said, “That’s way too nice for the Wshop, let’s seel it at the Curio shop once a year!”
Then a marketing person said, “No, let’s sell it at the eStore.”
Then a marketing genuis said, “No, let’s sell little key rings and have them open a game, so people will have to buy the key rings if they want to play the game and get the cloud stuff!”
“Great idea!”, they all agreed. “We can give the cloud stuff out as prizes in the game, but make it really hard to achieve.”
As an after thought someone asked, “But, what about the treetop theme the loyal WW players have been waiting for?”
Marketing genius replies, “Oh, just make a bunch of furniture out of sticks, they’ll buy it anyway.”

We do love Webkinz. We will buy the treetop theme. We will buy another kinz klip if we can find them anywhere. We will keep buying the adorable plush. We just need to save a little $ for groceries & mortgage.

Mega Stove – nice, but expensive. And five ingredients? Just making those new recipes harder to guess That makes sense. Now rare recipes will stay rare a while longer.

After closer inspection, I like the bed, couch and that they included a rug in the theme (not as an after thought). Yes, they are green and not colorful, but they look okay in the tree and are much better than a hammock!
If someone purchases any treetop item, please let me know if they can go in an inside room. Thanks!

Momskinz – It is too funny that we waited a month for this and my first reaction is sarcasm. But, as along as we have waited, I was really hoping my reaction would be WOW!
If the cloud furniture was the treetop theme (which I am sure it was never going to be), we would be still saying that it lacks color. 🙂 Now cloud furniture that floats around like the vehicles move with the webbie on board (and like real clouds float), now that would have been cool!
Do you think if I daily email Ganz asking to be a free consumer consultant they will block me or answer me? 😆

I am having the same problem! I checked for updates before I ate breakfast, it was there. Now i log on to webkinz and it wasn’t there! 😡 I logged in and out at least 5 times, but to no avail.

Update on my Grandpa (well sort of).
Ok so I have an Uncle who lives in Boston, he’s some fancy Doctor. And after my Granpa’s “incident” (Grandpa was getting his hair cut when this happened, btw) they called him. He said it happened b/c my Grandpa’s head was bent down to far (so my Grandma could get his neck) and it cut off the circulation. Thats why he did what he did. I can see that happening but I don’t believe my Uncle, why you ask? Well because when my Sister was having her medical problems, he told us to take her to the ER and have a gazillion tests run on her (we didn’t, because our doctors told us she just had a really bad infection, which she took meds for, and now is fine). When its his neice he tells us to do a zillion tests but when its his father he says “oh that won’t ever happen again”. I think he’s in denial and doesn’t want to face the fact that his Dad could possibly be ill. But thats just my opinion. Thank you for all your advice b/c I think it WILL come in handy, because I’m not in denial, I WANT to know if there’s an illness. But thats not my situation, I have no voice in that business. Thank you all for everything.

It also took me awhile to get the psi back cuz Raccy (my raccoon) was my first webbie and at the time i knew absolutly nothing about them so i didnt have a clue of what a psi was so i sold the fridge. Then last summer i was able to get a raccoon psi from someone on the blog and after that i adopted Rosie and got another one. Then came along the trading room.

partial theme again, I am calling not just writing this time! This is ridiculous, part of a theme at a time and this one we will have to wait 2-3 weeks to get the BED grrrrr!
sorry for that jd, if it was an Egyptian bed I would take it off your hands. I am not collecting the aztec theme, just a couple chairs and pedestals

MAGIC MIRE INFO!!!!!!!!!
Magic Mire is like Fairy Falls in that there are 4 paths to take to get charms, but it like Woodland Forest in that you have to move the wand and scroll back and forth to find fairies. You get to search every 8 hours…not every 6 🙁 to get charms and prizes.
My first attempt and I got……an ALYSSIA PLUSHIE!!!!
I’m sending a couple of pics to Momskinz.
There is still glitches however. I can’t wear my charms like you are supposed to. Hopefully soon!

Cat – Life is GREAT! I’m really enjoying it here although I miss home at times too. I have my days where I get sad, but that’s expected I guess! I miss certain things about WV, but NS is unreal! While on the lake fishing yesterday we saw a baby loon, a bald eagle, baby ducks and geese! 😀
JRsDad – I’ve missed you all too! It’s good to be back on here chatting it up with everyone when I get time. Justin will be going out fishing in the next couple days so I will probably be here more when I’m not cleaning the house.
The swelling on my eye has went down tremendously, but you can still see where the bite was. Unbelievable how bad it looked!

I had a hectic day. I was just hangin out wit my sis’s friend and was invited over to my friend’s house. Just as I got there, they were goin to the pool and wanted me to come! I bought the new mega stove…with a 80% coupon, so it was cheap, cheap, cheap!
I can’t get it to work however. I keep getting an error message and the food doesn’t center on the grill plate areas. I’m going to wait a day until I get it to work. If anyone wants food, let me know! When we get the recipes (I can never solve the silly things) I’ll send them to you.

Theres a potential of violence when you go to the bank. I mean if you are a nurse, there’s a risk that oh someone could throw a bomb at the hospital. All those stuff mostly happen in high schools and some middle schools. Theres hazards everywhere. Its just life. Theres a 100% chance, you CAN die each day. If someone wants to be a teacher and able to inspire students and put effort into it, they can go ahead, even if their is a “hazard”. Theres always hazards, you shouldn’t be scared of them.
Ah, I remember the professor at Virginia Tech at that shooting a couple years ago. He held the door closed, so his students had more time to escape. No ordinary teacher would do that. I hear of the teachers all the time at my brother in laws work. He says they are always critizing the kids after class.

that is true there are hazards every where every day, so sad that this is what our world has come to… we have to teach our children to guard against inappropriate behavior from anyone, teachers, kids, priests, relatives…
what is worse is that our justice system forces kids to spend time with those who abuse them, use drugs, violent, etc… because of genetics.. there is no way kids benefit from spending any time with these types of people

I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that the generosity and thoughtfulness of the admins has a trickle down effect and makes others want to give. I really feel that this is teaching my seven year old a valuable lesson. (It is more blessed to give than to receive.) From your hearts & hands to his heart and hopefully more often to his hands.

Be warned with the Zums… You can catch the same Zum many times. Even after a Zum challenge we have had the same Zum appear as the reward after completing the challenge. Same Peeking Zum found again and again. JR is about half way in Zummie Marbles to getting the cloud car and he has 23 of the 48 Zums. My math tells me that you have to get a lot of DIFFERENT Zums for the Zummie Marbles to add up.
But, the new Kinz Klips are soooo cute!

We all know that Webkinz has been starting to be popular in the children ages 5-12, but did you know that adults have been getting addicted too? Whether its the Wheel of Wow or the Wish Tokens, who knows what attracted adults to webkinz.
A ganz marketing expert told us “We weren’t looking to attract adults, but it seems they caught on to the webkinz frenzy.” He continued to say “I am not sure what really lead them to webkinz, but it pleases me to know adults are being able to enjoy webkinz with their kids. We have actually started to see sales rise in the past month” Well so, it wasn’t Ganz idea to attract adults, so what did cause the adults to look down at what their kids computer screen and then push their kid over and say “Hey, its my turn now”?

Momskinz – JR has one series 1 figure and one series 2 figure, so he is able to play woodland wonders. He has received one prize, mostly seeds and glop, he has a few of the common virtual figures and two silver keys. I am probably going to break down and get him some of the virtual charms and figures so he can have a better chance at Charm Forest and Woodland Wonders. Well, good news!!! I’m on part 6 of my paper. Can I get a cheer??? Just kidding. I’ve just been trying to work extra hard at getting a good rough draft instead of spending so much time tweeking as I write. At the rate I was going I was never going to finish. This way, I can go back and add or delete with the help of clergy, but the basic ideas and info are already there. I think at the rate I am writing however, I’m going to be deleting a lot. We have a 9 page limit for 18 topics plus a personal confession of faith, and at 6 topics I’m on page 5. Yep, too many words!!!

something like way back in junior high.. I asked my band teacher how much an english horn would cost and she says (yes english not french) are you interested in playing an instrument like that… well sure (I say as two others beat me to playing the oboe) so she asks, how about playing the bassoon? so I say sure!! A week later I found out what a bassoon looked like, lol it was almost as tall as I was at the time, lol and heavy! hahaha

I never went to camp, when I was in Job’s Daughters I went to the yearly state wide convention, we had fun, at least some fun, there were a lot of meetings I had to go to and rehearsals for meetings, floor work, lectures to memorize…
we still made fun, after, between the meetings and at night, hehe

Jr’sdad I have not left yet and the great uncle’s water park I am going to is where we are having my mom’s side of the family’s family reunion!! The family reunion is tomorrow so my dad,sister and I and our puppy,(not really but a puppy still but I still call her that)Ginger are getting my mom from work and then leaving town with our camper!!

At 4:00 PM, jr is going to compete in a track & field event and he will be throwing a javelin and Shot-putt. I did not even know what those were when I was seven. They moved the competition from 6 pm to 4 pm and I will miss seeing him. 🙁 He had to qualify for the events. I am so proud. Tonight he will race in the 400 & 800 metre races. If he wins, he will think he is joe cool.
I think he is JR cool no matter what. 🙂

Donder-Did you see the update on my Grandpa? My uncle thinks it was just cause my grandpa’s head was bent and it cut of cirrculation. My uncle is some fany Doctor in Boston. I really don’t know if I believe hi mcuz he thought my sis needed a gizzilion tests when she was ill but she just a had a bad infection. I think he’s in denial and can’t come to grasp that there might be something seriously wrong with his Dad. So i don’t know. Thank you for advice tho!! 🙂

Don’t you hate it when they laugh at you?!!!
Actually I do things in class TO make the kids laugh, and they love it. Once, my class all did really well on something and I was just psyched (another slang from the past) so I told them I was so excited I was going to do the happy dance and then did this crazy dance in the front of the room. They all laughed. A few fell off their chairs. The bad thing is that it’s been passed down like legend in the school and the kids actually ask if they do good if I’ll do the happy dance. I’m waiting for someone to record it and put it up on YouTube for the world to laugh at.

I missed a bunch here, trying to get the AC ordered, finally and hope it will fit in the hole AND the install not cost as much as the machine.. O.o
thanks re the music talents, most of us in my family play more than one instrument… some from no choice (oldest sister had to give up the cello after an elbow injury so she took up the accordion) next sister only played the violin a short time, next sister the trumpet and baritone a short time and then the french horn… my mom the piano and she sang, my dad.. trumpet, and some other thingy I can’t recall the name for now, lol

You need to log out of webkinz and clear your internet history, then log back in to Webkinz. I hope that helps you “Why should I tell you” & “I am cool”. In simple terms clear your cache. 🙂
