I tried trading for the Giant gift box on 5 seperate occasions in the trading room and the system wouldn’t let me do it. I hope these are tradeable.

I really like the school desk, the sand castle and gas pump. The moon rover is cool too. I don’t care so much for the clock.

I just went into Arte’s new area for deluxe members, and it’s just other stuff to buy. I was hoping it was an extra chance to mine a gem! Didn’t investigate too much so I wonder if the prices are different or if there will be more rares available there? I wonder WHY it’s there for deluxe members?

Too bad you can’t put the sand in an outside yard. We could make a moon for the moonrover. JR will be excited that there is a new vehicle to get.
I like all of the items. I am upset that they retired the others. Only the toadstool was boring (IMO). They retired some great exclusives this time.

So I played the new games. Switching Zingos is just like the one you buy in the w-shop, so no big whoop there. The Quizzy game is fun, at least for me. I love random trivia! I have screen shots but don’t know how to load them here or even if you’d want them.

donderextra – I was thinking the same thing about the inside moon room. jr has Copper in the moon room with his spacesuit on. The webbie wearing the space suit in the moon room on the moon rover will be cute.
You are not he only one having a hard time in woodland wonders. We need to buy more figures as it increases your chances of getting more than sap glop, common figurines and seed pods. Good luck!

I have all of the first series and most of the second and it really hasn’t seemed to make much of a difference. I keep getting the pods, food or the Wand Tree. I have like 4 of those! I can’t figure it out! I have been lucky enough to find enough silver keys to open that door once, but my other account that has just 1 figurine is doing just as well. I don’t get it!

That was very creative that the bottle opens a room. Like in an old TV show “I dream of Genie”. There was aroom inside the bottle.
They could have given you a wish a day from the Wshop with the Genie in the bottle. It will probably be another fortune telling pig type thing.
Krafty, FYI – I do not have a giant head. 🙂 The fairies are kind of freaky. You would think that they would use that magic wand to make their heads normal size.

I don’t know what the tree is worth. I’ll check that out and get back to you. I’m looking for some items to finish my Classic Gaming Theme, and then just some of the new exclusives and the Neon Plant exclusive that retired before I got one. 🙁
I know the wand tree wouldn’t be worth that much. I don’t have all of the plushies yet. I still need the Persephanie (sp) and the Plumpy one. I just got Ms. Cowline yesterday. So I really wish I can find that fairy, even if it is BIG HEADED.

he collects the plush too, congrats on the ms. cowaline. He does not have any Classic Gaming Theme to trade. i will ask him to look for an extra Neon Plant. The “W” diamond is almost always way to the left in the white mine when jr finds it. Try clicking on the last three on the left for two or three days in a row. They are there, but keep moving around. Of course, we all believe they remove the last gem we need.

That would be scary to be chased by a cow. I’ve been chased by a flock of geese. That wasn’t fun. Guess my cousin did learn that the goose didn’t want to eat a wooden stick. My lil cousin goes walking up to this goose, then poke it with a stick, the goose gets angry and chases us for a long ways. Finally we get under the electric fence and by that time the goose was long gone and wasn’t even chasing us! I asked her why she poked the goose and she said (in her sweet innocent voice) ‘I thought the goose was hungry, so I was trying to give it some food.” I was just craking up by this time! 😆

my mom used to sneak up on my grandpa when she was a kid and poke him and he would scream something really funny ( cant say contains swear words in spanish) . ever since she told me that story i wanted to tickle him . when we visited last year i wanted to tickle him but i was scarred on account i have to live in his house the rest of my vacation. my mom tickled him (no swear words this time) but i never got the guts to do it :p so thats my goal next summer

i know, i was nipped on the leg. We have two families of canadian geese that live behind our house. Went too close to a nest once and the mom hissed. I was bit when I was about 17. I was at a lake and one walked up behind me as they were used to being fed by people. i took a step backwards (not knowing it was there) and nip, ouch!

JRsDad-I don’t think I’ve been bit by a goose before. I’ve been flocked by a rooster, i was just done gathering eggs and he just gets in front of me and then just attacks me. His claws hurt. I was only 4 at the time so I was screaming and then my grandpa got him off me and he had make my stomach bleed, his claws went through my shirt. He had flocked many people, he eventually had to be put down. My cuzin was like “We’re having chicken tonight!” I was happy about it then cuz he really hurt me mentally. But now I think its kinda sad, but its the way of life I suppose. I mean I was 4 i wasn’t mentally prepared to be flocked my a rooster! But then again, who is mentally prepared to be flocked by a rooster?!?!? 😆

Madi- I loved your goose story. It reminded me of when I was about 7. I was feeding the geese at the park pond some bread and then ran out. They weren’t happy and started chasing me. I love the lamp. The Gaspump’s perfect for a racing room, but the Moonrover’s wierd. The SchoolHouse Desk doesn’t look too cool in my opinion. The TimeWarp Clock reminds me of a dance we had to do in school called the ‘TimerWorp’. Blah! The Seaside Palace Seacastle looks great! Although I once saw on WebkinzInsider how you can make a Sandcastle out of normal Beach Theme items. Just group a few of the normal ones and add some Tiki-torches.

There has been some confusion in the forum over what today’s update to the Curio Shop means for Webkinz players. So, to try to clear things up, here is a quick summary of the changes:
Instead of having twelve items for sale each hour, Arte now has twenty-four items for sale. However, only members with Deluxe Webkinz memberships are able to see all twenty-four items at the same time. If a member with a regular Webkinz membership wants to view all twenty-four items, he/she will have to log out of Webkinz World and log back in again. Since the items are organized randomly, it may take several tries to get a look at them all.
This is going to be very important when Rare items are for sale in the Curio Shop. If you have a regular Webkinz membership, when it’s time for Arte to have a Rare item for sale, it may not be visible at first. You may have to go through the process of logging out and logging back in to get the Rare item to show up. Members with regular Asian accounts reported being able to do this with Wednesday’s 10pm Rare item, the Egyptian Vase.
According to the Webkinz Newz, “Deluxe Members will get an extra rare each day in the Curio Shop.” Based on what we have seen in Webkinz World today, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Krafty- I had to get the chest with my second account which as the deluxe membership. I couldn’t get the chest to come up otherwise. I spent literally 25 minutes trying to get the rare to come up and it didn’t. Since I bought it on another account, I have to kinzpost it to myself before I can kinzpost to you. SO it’s taking a while, but it’s on it’s way.
This new curio system is a bit of a mess right now. Hope it gets worked out soon.

Thank you so much! I am sure I will love the chest. Since we were able to FINALLY get the medieval beds last week I was FINALLY able to make up my second medieval room, which is the bedroom… so I found I need one more chest, (which I now have thank YOU so much) another sofa, (which I got last night in a trade) and another coffee table which I still need
it is coming along great, I still need the wall shield thingys but I have never seen them so sale yet

Lucy, in case you come back here, Doug items are the items we can get in trade for the gems we find in the gem mining with Arte.
You go to the clubhouse and go to the collectors rooms, Doug is there on and off in different zones during the day. There are places that track him so it is easier to find him. When you do find him, you go to him and he might off a trade of one or more of your gems for a certain item, the first one is a dish of ice cream, then the items increase in value the more you trade with him. There are some very very nice items too. But, I believe, you must trade with him regularly to work your way up to the good items and you have to have the gems he is looking for at that particular time.
You can have more than one pet trade him per day but each pet can trade only once per day, I believe. I have an account NOT my main one that I have trade for the gems, so that I am still earning my crowns.
Let me know if I can help more on this, I am not the expert though 😀
