It’s been a celebration weekend all the way around for me. Summer Sensation in WW, and our little village celebrated it’s 126th year with it’s annual festival and fireworks display. I didn’t go to the fireworks however. The misquitos are HUGE here and I wasn’t in the mood to deal with the crowds. I stayed home and watched them from my back porch just fine. Today I think I need to take a nap.

Congratulations on your wedding! It’s so wonderful to be a newlywed. Not to pry, but are you living together for the first time? My husband and I did not live together before we got married and it was so hard to get used to having him around. I loved it, but it was so different.

I remember the first day he went to work after our honeymoon. He got dressed and left without saying I love you or kissing me good bye. I cried all morning about that. When he got home I told him how sad I had been and he said, “You were sleeping. donder – We had lived together twice before we got married, but never for very long. Less than 2 months together I guess. We are so alike that it has been easy to adjust, plus he helps around the house with cooking, etc. so that’s a big help. 😉

When Todd and I met, it was strange. It was almost as if we’d know each other forever, and just had been a part for a while. We still had some adjusting to do after the wedding, but that was mostly like who showers first, this is how you fold your socks together, and NO ice cream does not count as “supper”….unless of course you eat it from a bowl and not the container! LOL!

Our little village had a parade yesterday afternoon. The highlight…no kidding here…was the fact that we had 97 tractors in the parade. That was 7 more than last year. Oh yes, I can hear it now.. OOOHHHH! AAAAHHH! I know you’re all jealous! (Just Kidding!!!)

The sad thing is that one family here in town actually owns like 50 something tractors and they have to get others to drive them in the parade for them. They have a “Tractor Show” each year, but this family has won it every year for the past 10 years, so they don’t give out a trophy any more. This town leads to such an exciting life!

Yeah, I started out in a big city, and moved here in 11th grade. It’s been over 15 years and I am STILL not used to “small town” life. Give me a place with more than one gas station and grocery store and I’m a happy woman. I’m kind of like that Green Acres lady….minus the pig.

I tried to make a garage today- I spent like 4000kc trying but I couldn’t get it right- I had a large room with the barriers in a square in the middle to make a place for bumper cars and then put tables and chairs around the place but I could never get the colors right and it will take me ages to collect even one more bumper car to go in the square with the other one so I gave up and sold it all back and put my car in storage!

Krafty~ Me either, the second i heard about the sig raccoon i knew i had to have it. Im not very into the sig pets (mostly due to the price) but any raccoon is a must have fo me. I just love raccoons. If it wasnt for the webkinz raccoon i probably wouldnt have any webbies.

I have all of the raffle prizes from the parties. I am working on all the gem trade stuff. I have the mining hat, the suit, the gem poster, the walls, the flooring, they chair.
the parties for the cove the prizes are the lava rock, the flowing palm, the inflatable palm, the beach chair, the hybiscus bush.
