Griffin Emblem Rug Giveaway Contest

CONTEST OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF CANADA AND THE USA.
1. These are the official rules for the Griffin Emblem Rug Giveaway Contest (“Rulesâ€). By entering, each entrant (â€Entrantâ€) is deemed to have agreed with the Rules; do not enter the Contest if you do not agree to Rules.
2. The Contest begins on May 13, 2009 at 9am Eastern Time and ends on May 13, 2009 at 11:59pm Eastern Time.
3. The Prize consists of a virtual Griffin Emblem Rug. There are 5000 Prizes available to be won. The first 5000 Entrants who correctly answer, without mechanical or other assistance, a mathematical skill-testing question will win the Prize.
4. Visit www.webkinznewz.com during the Contest Submission Period and click on the Floating image of a Griffin Emblem Rug to enter the Contest.
As for the rugs on webkinz newz I haven’t seen one yet but people on WI are reporting getting them. There have been some issues with the security code. Here is a comment from there of someone who was successful.
I was on the “fun stuff” page of Webkinz Newz. A transparent rug floated down slowly from the top left. I clicked on it and answered the math question. Typed the security code in all caps the first time, like the picture. Got the error. The second time, I typed the code in lower case. It worked! I got the email with the code for the rug within a minute.
PS. I did have other Newz windows open, but only saw the floating rug on one of them.
Seems to be the same math problem for everyone. Hint to younger kids * means multiplication.
I got a floating rug but didn’t get the prize because of the security code problem. Here is the entry form.
I just read on WI that a lot of people are having issues with the security codes not working. I clicked out of that window after trying 4 or 5 security codes since I figured it was hopeless. Now I can’t get the flying carpet to show back up when I go to the webkinz newz website. Very upsetting.
To those of you who haven’t entered yet…. keep trying security codes until you get one that works. Have all other windows closed and enter your answer as 4.50 instead of 4.5!!!!!

More details are emerging. The rug floats down the left side of the page and if it isn’t there when the page first loads, it won’t appear like it does in Webkinz World, you have to reload the page!
