Webkinz Cares ~ Foundation
I went to Wallgreens to develop some pictures and the first thing I see is a table full of of webkinz (and other beany babies) with Tags. Not just the regular Tags but a Webkinz Cares (red) tag. I took pics for you to see.
The Red tag reads: “Webkinz Cares. A portion of each sale goes to the Webkinz Foundation”. The inside reads: “Webkinz Foundation, the webkinz foundation is dedicated to improving the welfare, development, health, and safety of children. A portion of each sale goes to the Webkinz Foundation”. In appreciation for your support, enter this Freature code at the Code Shop in Webkinz World to received a special online prize”
They had Lil orange Cat, Lil Cocker Spaniel and Lil Elephant for $6.99 each!!!
The pets have their regular tag and the red addtional tag. I haven’t entered the code yet as I wanted to come here and let you know guys right away of my finding lol
By the way the other plushies on that table were also from ganz but not webkinz, they were beany babies and some other ones that online codes. There was a fox, jiraffe, wolf, yellow duck….very interesting as they looked just like webkinz plushies just different tags still from Ganz.

Nana, they were $6.99 wich is a lot cheaper than anywhere else. Normally the Lil Kinz even at Hallmark are $10. I wonder if they are $6.99 because they are to profit the Webkinz Foundation.
Sounds like those are the only availabe pets with that promotion too.
I have called Custormer Service and will wait for then to contact me. Those pets were not supposed to be out yet and the xtra codes haven’t been programmed in their systems.

I just bought one of the special Lil Kinz from Walgreens that you are talking about, adopted the pet online just fine, but got the same error message about my feature code not existing. I contacted Support right away and am waiting to hear from them.
The Ganz site has a letter up to all Webkinz owners regarding the rollout of this promotion…Walgreens wasn’t actually supposed to roll out any of this specialty Kinz until the first week of June. Which is why our feature codes don’t work, I’m guessing.
If Customer Support doesn’t have a fair answer for me, I guess I’ll just try the code again once June finally gets here.
