Hi Night Owls I just wanted to pass through and say hi to you all and that I really miss you all I have been really busy working on ours rooms I want to be finished by Thursday and hopefully I will so I can come back and join you guys I have not been on Webkinz since Saturday talk about withdrawl. awww Malaika, that’s swee of you, I was wondering what you were up to.
where are you guys?
I did not feel like cooking a meal tonight so we had Breakfast for diner. Had sweet potato Pancakes, hard boiled eggs(kids love them) and cantaloupe. I had a delicious turkey sandwich with provolone cheese and lots of lettuce.
Our yard work is almost done. Still have a few flowers to plant but rained almost all day today.

I love breakfast for dinner! My kids love hard boiled eggs too, My baby inhales them. I had a very nice sandwich for dinner too, just felt like doing it nice and easy myself!

wow, this is the first time that it gets to be way pass the time and the room is not full yet. It just says Refresh on my screen and when I do click on it it brings up the contestant number by a little bit. so I guess some people are still entering

yes I am. My last trip to Lowes was this afternoon. I was so tempted to buy some azalea bushes for $2.49 but I didn’t think I was going to have enough time to plant them before leaving on Friday. Glad I didn’t get them. I finished everything tonight around 8:30pm 😯

They sent home a baby pine tree with S on Tuesday. Don’t know what in the world we are going to do with it. It is supposed to grow to 50 feet tall and 25 feet wide. We already have a large tree in the front and an even bigger one in the back. What were they thinking she was in tears because we didn’t have anywhere to plant it.
That’s great you finished your gardening Gymbo, wow you must be wore out gardening that late.

Gymbo remeber the store I told you about well they are not doing the Extravaganza but they are having a sale all Webkinz 10 dollars seasonal are 8 and lil kinz are 7 plus every purchase gets a raffle ticket for a basket with 4 webkinz mousepad album and trading cards and he said if I want to order the trading cards he will give me the same deal as the figurines at his price

I was looking for some toys to take on the trip for the kids and kept finding little toys. Toys like little people, miniature animals, happy meal toys, etc, so I know those have to come out (harder to clean/organize)

Thanks just saw your email Gymbo didn’t have time for the computer today. I had a doctor’s appointment. Finally had enough of this soar throat, she put me on an antibiotic. Hope you have a good trip.
I wish my friend didn’t live so far away. I’d love to see the baby in person but they live out your way Malakia.
We have several places having an extravaganza but I think we will just go to our regular Halmark they sent out emails. There are several games and it doesn’t start until 5 so we won’t miss much.

Yeah, her older son is 9yrs so she will be kept hopping. I doubt I’ll see much of her on her blog. When she gets more pictures up I’ll let you know so you can take a look . Right now the only picture is a sweet red face in a blanket.

The child who stays until 5:30 Dad has the day off so I could be done as early as 4:15 or as late as 5:15. The other two kids Mom is supposed to get off at 4:00 but she works in an office and often gets asked to finish something at the last minute so I never know when she is getting off.

When I attended a SIDS work shop for the daycare they told us to pass on to parents that those bumper pads people like to use in cribs are dangerous so I told her about it but I didn’t get a response. I have noticed them in cribs in pictures on several of her friends sites. I was surprised to see those bumpers. The hospital told us not to use them when S was born 9 years ago. Now the day care regs don’t allow us to even put any blankets on babies in cribs.

I am soo at a loss of what I can do for my friend
her mom jus passed away on Sunday
She lost her job in Jan ans has been unsucessful at finding a new one
She lived with her mom
doesnt drive
never went to college
at times I think she is a lil slower than other people
there is sooo much money owed on her house that it needs to be sold just to get by
her cousin is in charge of the estate and told her yesterday that the house is soooo beat up that she thinks that it wil be condemed
I have not really spoke to her for a few years called her out of the blue on the same day her mom passed
what can I do?

I used bumper pads with both kids, I was afraid they would get hurt with the railing of the crib. I know they tell you not to put them in their tummies either but that’s how I got them to sleep good 😳

yeah I heard about that with my lil one they didnt really say much about it when my oldest was lil they say the kids could some how get caught under them and not be able to get out and suffocate our crid didnt get much use we mainly used the pack and play while the kids were lil cause it could go every where
so I think we will be getting the lil kinz mouse tomorrow for 7 dollars 🙂 since I gave the code to my daughter

Her mom took her everywhere and the bus
She contacted the public welfare office through the phone so they said they would send out information I told her to go there in person it would go quicker I am not sure what her family is gonna do they all live so far away and she does have a brother but he just fades away I guess he stopped by for about ten minutes and then left and came by the house once she passed and ook a bunch of things

The class was pretty rough, they showed us pictures. Once the child can turn over on their own it is OK for them to sleep on their stomach as long as they put them selves there. Babies who sleep on their stomaches usually crawl earlier but it is risky for really young babies especially those born early. We can’t have anything in the crib but a fitted sheet and a pad underneath. With our cold winters the babies have to use sleep sacks. None of the babies have beaned themselves on the bare wood bars so far.

I don’t know what we are getting. S is going to get clothes and then the latest email from our Halmark says there are 14 different webkinz they are giving away and what you spin on their wheel of wow determines which one you get. K is getting one of the lil’ kinz she wants the dalmatian but who knows if they will have any. I got my chicken this month and bought my panda for next month, plus the tux I wanted so I am not getting anything.

You already gave S the exclusive she really wanted. I don’t know what K really wants . I’d have to ask her. S was very happy when she got your gift a couple of weeks ago. Wednesday was K’s 4th b-day. I almost forgot to go on and get her coin. Fortunately S reminded me. J went with us to her gymnastics and the two of us both played with her at her Mommy and me class and then we all went out to dinner. The waiters sang to her. K was quite the show off with daddy. She was doing stuff that she was too scared to do normally. She doesn’t like to walk on the balance beams and that night she was standing on one foot and trying to hop on the beam.lol

Hi, hope you had a nice trip Gymbo. Other than a few checks for spam didn’t have time to visit much the last few days. Getting ready for girl scout camping trip and the preschool zoo was today. The zoo was lots of fun but I am wiped. Up until 2:00 am finishing the swap-its for the girl scout trip. Sunday after S and I get back from camping it’s martial arts kick a thon for St. Jude, Dad and Daughter ballet practice and we also have to go to a graduation party. I took Monday off from work because I figure I will have keeled over by then.lol So if I am not asleep early I should be around Monday. Have a nice weekend everyone. Congrats to all the contest winners.

tmt, sounds like you’re pretty busy. Going to the zoo makes me very tired too……….a lot of walking.
We’re almost done with our trip. Leaving here (GA) tomorrow morning. The last few days I’ve been without a computer 🙁 I couldn’t wait until I got home to say Hi so I took a few mins to log in from sis-in-law’s pc.
