Night Owls – 1/11/09
OK, well here we are again (maybe just me, lol) after 2am and… Webkinz down for a few hours and I am going through withdrawal, lol
Totally frustrated with my net connection all day today… grrr slower than slow and frequent hang ups, lags… about to pull my hair out, even my email account had problems.
What is that new royal red carpet that was in the curio shop at 1am?? Never seen that before and I didn’t find it in the W-shop either. Speaking of the W-shop and rugs, what happened to the cute pink scalloped one… it was there before Christmas but disappeared when the full Santakinz theme was added.. I think…
Any ideas when the rest of the new Asian theme will be available and why only part of it ready now??
Has anyone seen up close, in person, the Irish setter? is it like the American cocker’s hair/coat?? I hope so as I don’t like that funky hair like on the hippo and such, only on the mouse (which is too cute!) and the lil tiger and lil lepoard it isn’t too bad. I prefer the smoother more life like “fur”.. my spotted leopard is sooooooooooo soft, I love to snuggle him!
I adore my chipmunk too, great detail on the plush and online he is awesome too waggling him tail while he walks, lol I named him SecretAgentNut. I wish he had been made a lilkinz though and wish the squirrel was made with fur like the chipmunk. If so I would have nabbed him fast..
One of my fav pets is my Grey Langur, he is super fab to the max! Great detail (though you have to check the faces carefully for a real cute one) and online his movements are the best. I named him EmperorTingTang and am thinking he needs an EmpressBingBang.. then which pet would I get and name WallaWalla… for those who are old enough to remember that song… oo ee oo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang… .. dang if someone would refresh me on where that came from etc I would appreciate it greatly.
I am collecting the ancient civilizations, medieval, egyptian themes and would appreciate trades for some items for those.

ho yeah i totaly agree about the fuzzy hair this – the irish setter will have those on it’s back but the tummy is going to be so soft! But i do have to say that the cow does have the hairs and it’s still one of the cutest in my opinion – maybe becuase i got it from the one i secretly admire ( don’t tell anyone! ). But the B & W cheeky dog is also made from the excact same fabric as the cow – yet it is not as cute ( again that’s my opion! )

i have animal crossing! its where u get to have a person live in a town with talking animals. the animals can m,ove away and move in your town. sometimes there are fun days where u get to have a yarad sale and days where people in your town sing to get there song the town tune.

thanks, webkinzshowmaster, but I do have the wallpaper. I need the sofa and some chairs, the armor thingy, and wall hanging shields… and I am thinking of getting another bed…
for the medieval theme I need the bed for sure.. two I think as I have my Whimsy Dragon there and want the emperor dragon too.. need more chairs for the dining table too.
Bummer about the irish setter hair on the back, rats. The new brown cow doesn’t have that funky hair though, right? only the black and white, I thought, I have the lil cow but that is cause it was a wecares and we got a bunch in the BOGO which was awesome.
Does the groundhog have that hair or regular? I would like the sea otter and the sea horse (want to have a RL tank of them just to watch the males give birth! lol remember to those who have not given birth… gestation is 10 months not 9, that is a male promoted piece of fiction… lol but it is still worth it… but if someone wants to trade webkinz for a 10 yo or a 7 yo, let me know! hehehe
glad to see some response to my post and maybe tomorrow will do a contest, have to page through my dock to see what I could give as prizes…

I opened an Asian Account because it was impossible to get the RARES in the Curio Shop.
I love getting the snowflakes for the festival early. For some reason, the Asian Account got more leaves in the Fall Festival the first night.
How many accounts do you have? I enjoyed having more than one account especially when WW sends gifts for the holidays.

How do you go about setting an asian account? you have pets sitting around for this sort of thing? doesn’t the settings in your computer conflict with setting an asian account or whatever country you choose is fine with webkinz site… then you can run both off of the same computer?

I am new here, only a couple days now.

I get some rares in the curio shop, how come you don’t? just the timing?
I only have one account myself, my thinking was the more pets on one account gets the superbeds faster and higher KC per adoption, etc.. but a friend of mine has an account that I manage for him (not sure why he opened it at all) but it is a perk for me, lol and I have made a nice home for his pet, 4 rooms, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and outdoor yard.
Yes I do still need some items for my medieval room as well as egyptian and ancient civilizations.. I love decorating! I go nuts during the decorate a room contest, I go through tons of KC, lol still haven’t won but… I think that is why the new rule on items from the wshop so it is more fair to all… though both types of contest would be better, one fair for newbies and one fair for vets.
I will see what I have for those themes and come back and post… I appreciate this opportunity!!

Our local PatCatans marks down the webkinz that are discontinued which is fab of course but so far not the Christmas items, I had hoped to get more ornaments but they didn’t count on their Christmas clearance, have to ask again about that though. Their figures are $4 each and we are going to get some more of those. They had Christmas clothes but the santa outfit was $11 so that was out of our price range.
I need a new webkinz, I am going through withdrawal on new adoptions, lol

Kinzgram, they had alot of retired ones there, the retired webbies that were more rare were more expensive they had the full size Unicorn for $40 and the Pegasus for $50, he said that yesterday he had a Sherbet Bunny for $50 but someone bought it. He also said the the White Poodle is retiring soon.
