Webkinz WinterFest 2009

winterfest

A lot of people were questioning if these were the only items we would have for Winterfest. The truth is.. I don’t know!
I examined the listings and what I based my selection on was that they changed the status of the bottom 4 items and they added the top 4 items!
That doesn’t mean that these are the only items we will have! I don’t fully understand their system for what determines an items status!
It could be that the bottom 4 items may be the ones NOT being offered this year. It could also be that they may change the status of these items once again prior to the Winterfest taking place. So, don’t take my choices as being “set in stone”! I’m just making my best guess!
That’s all!
I do know that the top 4 items are marked as being “Winterfest 2009 Prize“!
The other Winterfest items are marked according to the year they were first released.
I guess we’ll all find out soon enough!

    I am planning to stay by the computer when the Winterfest begins on the Asian Account. The most leaves fell on that account in the very beginning.

    I’m thinking that the bottom four items are the ones that will NOT be returning. The slippers are rendered in that sort of old-style ‘cartoony’ look that some WW items used in the past (like the retired fruit hat from past FallFests) and I think that the sweater will be replaced by the jacket and the frozen hot chocolate by the peppermint version. But I’m just guessing, as well!

    tmt – the store closest to my house left it in the system because they still had so many (don’t know how with me living so close, but guess they got a big shipment – ha, ha) – another store near me did that a while back and had them on a sale (not BOGO, but 2 for $12) that none of the other stores had, evidently they have some discretion at the individual Walgreens

    I thought younger daughter had a bed box in her dock but when the new one came out and I went looking for it, it wasn’t there. I can’t figure out what I did. I donated from the other two accounts not hers. Have an extra I can send to her so it isn’t a problem but weird.
