I have a question for you Webkinz Regulars. I just let myself into the KinzChat Plus and have been dabbling in the rooms to see what’s going on. Lots of people ask me to be friends with them, and I always respond with my answer of “No, thank you. I don’t friend people I don’t really know.” Not friending people I don’t know in real life has always been a personal guideline of mine, whether it be on LiveJournal, Facebook, whatever. But I’ve had LOTS of people get offended, call me “mean”, promptly (and rudely) leave as soon as I say this, and I think one person even “warned” or reported me- I got a popup message that told me to stop asking for people’s personal information of I would be banned! π I didn’t even do anything except explain that since I didn’t know them in real life, I wouldn’t add them as a friend.
Is friending everybody who asks expected in the KinzChat Plus? I don’t want to friend every ‘kinz who asks me, but I don’t want to commit some kind of unknown faux pas either. What’s the ‘norm?

gina – i know that feeling, i’m trying to cut back, too, but i’m feeling the need for wc again . . . at least those aren’t AS expensive . . . it is too hard to trade when everyone is chiming in with the “i want” and “will you hold” – just focus on one person, then move to the next . . .
i have seen some really bad trading etiquette: people not making fair trades (and not telling the other person, it’s one thing if you both know and do it anyway – like i traded high on my side last night, but i was willing to for the items i was getting), people jumping in and interrupting other people’s trades, people agreeing to trades then saying that the person had to return the items if they changed their minds (saw that last night on here), people agreeing to trades then saying “we’ll do it tomorrow” – someone kept me on here after i needed to go because they had something i really wanted, and i had what they asked for, i even offered a 20,000 kc extra item to make it fast π – just disappointed to see this kind of stuff happening here & among friends . . .

pumapardus – about the add friends thing.. you can just say yes, let them add you and then in a couple days just delete them from your list, then you are removed from theirs too, no big deal.. and the friends isn’t a big deal either.. some I never hear from again, some I do , some only for a while… with a very few we send gifts once in a while, back and forth… it is nice.
the forest, only been doing that since Dec 17th, my birthday and I have now found 3 silver keys, lots of seeds, 4 figures and some sap glop, lol I need two more figure to get to the next level of searching and would love to get some charms… my daughters: the oldest has 3 figures in RL and 2 virtual ones, one silver key,.. the youngest has 3 RL figures, 3 virtual ones, no keys yet… we get food and sap glop, lol
the pain right now is the mining, I need just 3 more gems for my 3rd crown and can’t get past that, my youngest needs one more for her 1st, my oldest needs 6 for her 2nd crown but she sold a lot of them… the youngest and I saved ours. And the star search, we have needed 1, 2 and 3 for a long time now, one new one this week, so need 1,2 and 2 respectively and no new ones for some time.. grr frustrating

We are on such a tight budget that growing our collections is slow but… we make the best of it we can. One local stores has buy two get one free and we do that as often as we can but they will be slowing down on the webkinz they carry… that is sad.

momskinz, that is shame all around, LTD2 charges more than any other place around, even the Hallmark stores.
It costs Ganz nothing to bump up the rewards for things online… could give 10kc for the no gem days, better chances on the WOW… a daily allowance too, maybe per pet.. not a great amount but a reward for those that have large kinz familys..
the adoptions could be perkier too… and I was thinking a perk reward for those that adopt many wecares pets… 1 hour 21 minutes to go to snowflakes here in Ohio… can’t wait…

If they are on a six minute schedule they come every six minutes but to random places where they can show up on your account so you don’t see them every time they come. At least that’s what WI says.

An Asian Account is a good idea, you know what is happening before the American Accounts.
All the festivals start early and you can get an extra gift on Holidays.

The contest are great and you can trade to get the things you need.
The people here are always very nice and it has made collecting alot more fun.

yes we get them whenever possible, they had a couple nice BOGO but our walgreens sells for 6.99… for 5.99 we could do more for sure, when we try to get one for each of us each time… that can add up fast, lol
wow, I get rares on my account, but sometimes it is hard to catch the times, with homework and supper times, lol but twice as many chances and twice as many to get would be better for sure

I am very sorry to say I don’t have any of those other items, we haven’t gotten many packs of cards… only one place around here have them for $2 otherwise they are usually $3 sometimes $4 which is way too much.
I used to collect original Cabbage patch kids and need to sell some of them and have a large collection of Magic the gathering cards.. boy those days are long gone, lol
