    I’m ready fo rthis month to be over, today was the last of my 3 kids birthdays in March (1st, 8th, and 13th) and now Easter’s just around the corner, I’m starting to winder why I had this surgery so close to their birthdays…GRRR

    Hi guys, sorry I worried you. My asthma is bothering me but I am all right. My peak flows are in the 400’s which is OK. I just feel mildly short of breath most of the time. I haven’t had a full fledge can’t breath episode. I think I am just having a reaction to the impending spring. I am really wore out right now and don’t feel like being on the computer. Haven’t been on webkinz in two days. All these new pets we bought and we haven’t adopted any of them. At least I feel well enough to do stuff with the kids I just haven’t been able to do anything else. We are doing St. Patrick’s Day stuff this week. Instead of going on the computer I have been laying in bed reading. I have read six books since last Saturday. I am rereading the Seafort Saga by David Feintuch. There are seven books in the series. It is a science fiction space navy series and one of my favorites. I’ll try and stop by tonight.

    Yeah my duaghter knows to 25, her colors, and shapes but I think that I am gonna keep her in preschool I am not ready to send her off the Kindergarten. Plus it is so much work and examining to see if they are ready to go early I would rather not do that to my lil one once they start regular school they already go through enough stress so I will let her take her time

    I’m also really upset because NONE of my local hallmark stores sell the lil’kinz pig! I have been looking everywhere for it and I really want the pet of the month. I already have the pink poodle (next month’s POTM). So I really hope that I find the lil’kinz pig sometime this month. Hopefully I will get one over spring break….(big sigh).

    I remeber my oldest daughter was doing geometric shapes in Kindergarten and they also had the fun parts like recess shopped in half just becuase they had to add so many extra things to the curriculum

    That interesting we usually end up doing them during the evening on the weekend so everyone can be there to see what we get. I did some of the series ones at night when I had the box but I didn’t notice a pattern to the prizes. I am the lucky one in our house I tend to pick the better packs.

    I went camping once in high school with my boyfriends boy scout troop. Now that I think of it that is not my last time. I went last year with S’s girl scout troop to camp for one night but it didn’t really feel like camping because we stayed in a cabin. S stayed for two days but I did want to leave K for two nights. This year I am going to go for the whole weekend.

    I slept a lot and got a bunch done on the taxes. Not a very exciting weekend but it ended nice we all sat and watched Phinus and Pherb together then after the girls were in bed J and I watched Torchwood. J got S’s computer up and running last night she is so excited. They had dance practice today and after they got back we watched some old recital cds so J could see some examples of what they wore and how they got off stage. Every couple has to pick a way of the dad carrying the girl off stage. S enjoyed see herself dancing when she was littler.

    On Friday it is the marsh mellow drop that I mentioned and I think a Tae Kwon Do test and Saturday an egg hunt at a farm (hopefully it won’t be snowing this year) and dying Easter eggs with Grandma. Then family party Sunday.

    I have been printing out some activities for us to do. I just love those free coloring pages and activity sites. It wasn’t that long ago I had use coloring books or hand draw the activities we did. My printer is the best Christmas gift I ever got.

    I got an easter bunny and some eggs with different patterns for them to color. A bunny for them to cut out and put together and directions to make a simple wreath with rolled construction paper. That should keep us busy. The new session of library classes starts this week. V is signed up for story time Tuesdays and music on Thursdays while the bigger girls are at preschool and all four of them are going to library preschool time on Wednesday. I get a whole 30 minutes in the library to myself on Wednesday while they do the class.

    Since N is going to Kindergarten next year we have been doing a lot of cutting and putting thing together the last few weeks. When S started kindergarten that’s the first thing they had them doing. V is just starting to be able to cut and I have to help her but the other girls are doing pretty good on their own.

    I also got a bunny outline that they can draw a face on it. We are a little heavy on the bunny stuff but I don’t like doing the religious pictures for Easter. We do a unit in December on a variety of religious celebrations and I will read a couple of books that talk about the religious aspects of Easter but I don’t think crosses and what not are appropriate for the younger kids outside of Sunday school.

    I am also trying to teach N to write her name smaller. She has been able to write the proper form with the upper and lower case letters for a while but she writes it kind of big. She has a’s in her name and it is hard to get those little a’s half the size of the N.

    I talk with the parents about religious issues before I start watching the kids because I do talk about a variety of religions and we do celebrate the major Christian holidays and some of the Jewish ones. Other than a couple of half Jewish families everyone has been Christian so far and no one has had a problem with their children being exposed to other religious holidays. I know some home day cares are very religious with prayers before meals and scripture in their lessons. I approach religion as more social studies lesson than anything else.

    Hey guys, didn’t have much time to post today 🙁
    The museum took almost all day! left in the am and since we were riding in a group then I had to go where they were going (shopping, eat). The kids had fun, Andrew missed his nap so by the time we got home he played a little bit outside, bath and bedtime. Hailey is at a sleepover 🙁
    I won’t be here this weekend 🙂 going to a Creative Memories Scrapbook Getaway…….where we scrapbook like crazy the whole weekend. I’ve been trying to work on getting pictures together so I’ll be ready.

    Thanks everyone. Fever is down but I still feel awful. Sorry you weren’t feeling good over Easter weekend Gymbo that’s when S was sick with this. She felt bad on Saturday and then was fine on Sunday. I have been sick since Monday which doesn’t make much sense but the symptoms are the same. Must be the immune suppressant making it drag out for me.

    I am looking forward to reading all about your scrapbook getaway next week.

    The new token balloon dart game is tomorrow. POTM owners get an extra try. Today’s rare is at 6:00 pm.

    yeah i love spending time with my mom. at the beginning of the winter i was sad because my mom was working more and i didnt get to see her a lot. well i was really stressed out with school and dance and on top of that th e thing with my mom. a couple of weeks went by of being totally stressed and soon enough i got Shingles, everybody including my doctor said i got them because i was stressed out. i just said “i guess”when people told me that. i was to embarassed to say i was stressed because i wasnt seeing my mom enough, now she tries to talk with me and take me places by myself wthout my littles sister

    Shingles is the most painful thing in the world it took atleast 2 weeks for the pain to go away and more then a month for the blisters to finally heal and now i have a huge scar on my stomach.

    Hi guys, I’m here for just a little bit. I had a super busy day today. Went this morning to the Gym, picked up my little one from sleep over night, went to have pictures developed (that took almost 2hours), went to post office (Malaika, your package has been mailed), rushed home, packed kids clothes for the weekend. Drove kids to my parents (3hrs round trip), met husband for my birthday surprise……..took me to eat with some friends, went over friends house and play games/ guitar Hero. got home super late. I just finished packing my stuff for this weekend (will be scrapbooking all weekend)………phew that sounds like I did a lot today 🙂 I had a great birthday!

    I won’t be here this weekend 🙁 will miss ya. Have fun commenting!

    I went to the one in the mall yesterday and got the same response but since I am sich a loyal customer she said she was gonna look into it for me 🙂 and that the nnew ones were coming today she wasnt there today but I went to another Hallmark that is in its own store not the mall and they had a big static cling window display announcing it and were giviing out postcards to be able to get the free webkinz with 10 dollar purchase and we need to bring them with us when we go there
