   Wishing good health, much happiness, continued friendships, love, support and lots of WW time in 2024 !

   Hope you all had a safe and memorable New Years Eve..

   Luncheon yesterday with two of my brothers.. that was a first… just the three of us.
   We all shared some laughs, memories and hope for good health and retirement for 2024 !
   Up early and anxious to check out what is happening in WW and catch a few flakes !
   Watch a couple of football games yesterday… and had a quiet evening.
   Did not make it to for hoopla at midnight !

   Hope you all enjoyed the Holidays
   Looking forward to upcoming new year.

   been reading
   ladies number one detective agency book

   entertaining (to me)……….if an author can make me laugh or cry, i consider it good
   it is a whole series and the one i have is the latest, so may have to go back and fill in some gaps

   i hope everyones 2024 is off to a good start

   There was a one season show for ladies number on e detective agency. It was so good. I should read the books.

   It looks like deluxe wednesdays are going to be sales. They are never good sales.

   it is disappointing that they have made deluxe wed. basically into another sale just a smaller version but the same discount as all of the other sales . . .

    Farmers Day !

    dee.. some new Snowflake items… really cute ! I was finally able to finish the Jumbleberry portion of this week’s challenge in NEXT… caught up until Friday I guess.

    moms.. I totally agree with you about Deluxe Wednesday in the e store.. not much effort on their part to make it worth the time..Have your dss headed back ?
    Another adjustment for you … the kid down the road is still undecided as to when he is going back… Haven’t really seen too much of him… but I hope to make plans to head down and visit him.

    Hello!

    I’m definitely feeling the after the holidays let down. The last of our guests left yesterday.

    I’ve read many of the books in the No.1 Ladies Detective series. I listened to the first book audibly over the summer. I enjoy the slower pace.

    I did manage to catch a few snowflakes yesterday.

    Amy.. congratulations on the arrival of your first grandchild ! So exciting for you !

    dee.. Don’t worry.. you have plenty of time to become a grandmother… Mr. Right just hasn’t entered your dd’s life yet… For now enjoy your grandcat… they usually cause less heartache and heartbreak… Your dd will find the ” right one”…

    moms… Nice that you still have some time with ds…Time goes so quickly.. before you know it … graduation is right around the corner… and he will begin next phase with a job he really loves and a new beginning..

    Sheba… It can be depressing after all the festivities have ended and we settle back into life’s normal routine… Pamper yourself.. Spend some doing things you enjoy !

    Heading into the doldrums of winter… same old cold and dreary days..It would be so nice to have a day of sunshine once in a while… I am already tired of wearing layers of clothes to keep warm and having to force myself to get out of the house…

    Dee- Do you mean one of the people who sell the hot dogs? The vegetarian would not be up for that in the slightest. She is repulsed by them, including veggie dogs.

    Have you all read how much the water person can make for a team? Seems like a fun job.

    She had a good meeting with someone here last week, got quite a few contacts, so hopefully something works out. She is currently applying for a job near school this semester since she only has one class.

    Going to be hard when she leaves this weekend. Moms- I am sure you are having that pang as well.

    Amy – Congrats on the grandchild. That must be so exciting. Our dd was less than a month her first Christmas, made it so special, also a blur, lol

    Hopefully you are not too far so you can spend time with him/her.

    Gaga- Sorry about your gray days. That is the one reason that makes it so hard to leave here, the great weather. I will try to send you some sunshine.

    Sorry I haven’t stopped in sooner. I think I did New Year’s Eve and I couldn’t post anything for some reason…probably user error! hahaha

    gaga—Congrats on the Browns win last Thursday! And thank you for the gifts!! Sent some your way too. After getting home the day after Christmas it took me several days to recover! All I did was snuggle on the couch with Stella. I missed her so much. Very grateful and thankful I have a wonderful dog sitter for her. Plan on catching up tomorrow and writing a longer post. Haven’t had much time to catch snowflakes the last couple of days, so that’s the priority tomorrow. LOL

    the good news is that they were able to replace the part, and we have heat again on the main floor 🙂

    cmpets – totally having that pang as well about the boys leaving – bittersweet for sure – love seeing them happy & thriving but love being in their “orbits”

    april – i messed up the date on the post & left us high & dry for many hours by accident 😳 so sorry we missed out on hearing from you
