   Good Morning All !

   December 1st… The Countdown begins !
   Santakinz is in the Clubhouse offering the Christmas gift.

   moms.. so sorry that you are sick again.. worst time of the year to not feel well !
   Happy you are letting some of your decorating go…I am sure everything is festive and the holiday spirit is in the air.. Take care of yourself ♥

   dee.. Will be seeing the dentist next week..cleaning and check.. I think I have previously mentioned but my dentist will soon be celebrating his 82 birthday !
   His hours are limited and I am thinking this will be my last visit with him… Time to establish myself will new dentist.. I have been looking for past year and I think I have found one… Very close to my home and worked with his Dad who was a doctor where I started my nursing career ! Sounds like he has recently moved back to the area and is setting up his office right down the street !
   I will see what is in my goodie bag when I go next week.

   April… Thank you so much for my gifts ! I was so surprise when I opened the box ! We did not celebrate birthdays this year… My younger sister’s was the day before mine and neither one of us wanted to celebrate… First year since she was born that we did not share a celebration… but hopefully will celebrate soon .
   I had not gotten the donut dispensers so I was so happy to have gotten them ! Thank you ! Unfortunately the new Mistletoe boxes offer yet another dispenser !
   It is never ending … ( LOL ) but the food is really cute !
   I agree with moms.. try not to stress about upcoming gathering and Holiday..Easier said than done… but I am sure it will be fun to get together with family.

   Sheba.. So sorry your sil caught covid… Hopefully you and the rest of your family with remain negative ! I am sure you will be ready to have a couple weeks off from teaching… the holidays are busy enough !
   The lock in the Curio Shop in NEXT seems new…Not sure what the heck they are dong but thankfully was able to get both of the prizes before the locks were put in place..

   cmpets… Hopefully your dd will be coming home soon ! I know you are anxious to see her and enjoy her visit !

   ll and Boper… As always… Thank you both for doing such a great job of keeping the Picture Guide current… I visit it so much to see what is happening and what items are in the boxes and crackers !

    gaga- Happy Belated Birthday, sorry I missed it.

    DD just got to Charlotte. Short trip, but anxious to hear how she likes it, I hear only great things about that area. She doesn’t come home until the 23rd, counting down the days.

    moms- I think some of those have expired, but really don’t pay attention in Next, sorry. Can’t believe you have a cold, so annoying after just recovering.

    dee- Hope you like the Barbie movie, we did.

    moms.. Hope you are feeling better today ! I would have rather had the candy cane collection challenge. Wonder why they can’t do both ?
    I think the new plushy Santa is offering is really cute ! Just hope it’s not to small looking in the room.

    Not much new here… I watched The Holiday for the 5th time ! Such a cute movie!

    Hi all!! Just thought I’d let you know that some of my storm has subsided.
    My sister had a successful Quadruple bypass and is now home recovering. She’s discovered much to her dismay that everyone who told here there would be no pain … lied. There pain, a lot! She can’t move her arms further than from her side, she can’t lift over her head. She needs help to the washroom and her mobility is severely limited because she has to move slowly. Her incisions are quite painful, particularly the one from the top of her inner thigh down to her ankle where they harvested a saphenous vein to graft into those spots that were blocked.
    There are things no one tells you about bypass surgery that you ultimately, painfully learn for yourself. So, for now, I’m her arms and legs when she just can’t go any further.
    Mom has recovered from Covid pneumonia and went through two weeks of rehab, she’s home now, but she’s got bad Covid brain fog. Or .. she’s just getting old 🙁
    In all of this I got a little ray of hope. I won the Jolly Holiday Pup from Webkinz Newz!
    The next contest is easy peasy, but I caution you to read it entirely when you enter as all I did was give a name for my pet. Make sure to include the information that the contest requires. I think quite a few of you stand a pretty good chance because most people will only include the name. And there is no skill testing question, either.

    dee—no luck with the northern lights here. I was outside in the backyard looking and dh came out and asked what I was doing. I told him looking for northern lights. He says “Well, you might want to go in the front yard and look as we are facing south right now.” Bahahahaha. No luck in the front yard either. Glad you had a successful shopping trip. The dh comment made me laugh.

    moms—I’m so sorry you are sick again! I hope you are feeling better soon. That really isn’t fair so soon after covid. Feeling much better about Christmas stuff now, thank you! I think too many things I wanted to get done right away and I got overwhelmed. I got things mostly done, even got the lights up outside while it was still decent weather here. The inside decorating will get done when it gets done. My non pre-lit tree is currently bare, with half a string of lights on it. LOL

    Sheba—oh no, sorry SIL has covid and step granddaughter is sick too. It’s that time of year unfortunately. Glad you and the rest of the family are healthy.

    gaga—You are so welcome! I sent some more donuts. I’m sorry you and your younger sister didn’t feel like celebrating this year. That happens some years. I’ve felt that way too. Hopefully next year you two can celebrate. The dispenser collecting is definitely never ending! I’ve had to switch to picking and choosing what I really really want. I was lucky enough to get the dispenser too from the mistletoe boxes. Thanks, feeling much more calm about Christmas now. But I’m sure I’ll be ready to pull my hair out the week before we leave. LOL Oh, I love that movie, The Holiday. A classic for the season.

    Dixiecup—I’m sorry your sister is having so much pain. But I’m glad the surgery was successful and you are an amazing sister to care for her so well. I hope your mom continues to improve with the brain fog. Congrats on winning the Jolly Holiday Pup!!

    I have 2 extra merry mistletoe tables and 2 extra merry mistletoe rockers if anyone wants them.

    I don’t like it when they do tables and chairs in these boxes. You get a bunch of tables and not enough chairs to go around.

    anybody have a chest or upright freezer?
    if so, how big? do you wish you had bought something different?

    i have a very small chest freezer. with dhs deer from last year, the thing was overflowing. and it is not conducive to good space usage with the top.
    thinking of getting a chest freezer, which i know are less economical.
    have not researched if they come in different sizes.
    oh and the chest freezer is full as is my spare garage fridge/freezer, as is the my kitchen bottom freezer. yup, i freeze a lot, butter, bread, nuts, meats and so on. and if i replace the garage fridge with a upright freezer, where will dh keep his bait and man juice? they sure as heck ain’t coming in my kitchen

    chest freezers are too difficult for my height – picture feet dangling, me hanging over the edge trying to sort through stuff

    & dee i think you need a new term for it because i’m assuming you’re talking about canned beverages & not something even more disgusting – gross! can you believe i do not have that pet on my main? i think that is so weird! i need to search for a code, maybe i have one i haven’t adopted . . . highly possible

    april – glad you found north 😆 that is so funny!!!! i just walked by the study & see a section of lights are out . . . guess we will have to see if we have lights or have to buy a strand for me to replace – luckily that tree doesn’t have highly fragile ornaments – if it was one of the others, i would be leaving it for next year!

    gaga – are you watching any football today? i hope you aren’t pulling for my arch enemy LOL

    dixiecup – i saw your name on the list congrats! so glad your sister & mom are recovering – that sounds painful for your sister, but it is good that she is walking around – does she have a walker she could use for support just temporarily while she is healing? it might help her be more stable, hopefully your mom’s “fog” improves – i know how hard that part is

    cmp = not sure when they gave them out. back when they were doing the sally and michael and steve signed posters where you had to meet them in the clubhouse. they only way i know they were free, is that i have one on each acct! ha ha ha

    Farmers Day !

    dee.. You are up early ! So frustrating when you can’t get a good night’s sleep..
    I have an upright freezer and has plenty of room for what I keep frozen…

    April.. Thanks for the donuts ! Enjoyed your story about looking for the night sky lights… Would some day love to see them… I am sure you are so happy that Michigan won ! ( although I must say that I was disappointed that OSU wasn’t playing !
    Browns 4th quarterback of the season is starting today… Hope he does well and proves to the naysayers that he is too old ! ( LOL ) I am trying to be optimistic about the rest of our season but with injuries to Chubb and other key players I don’t think our chances of post season play looks to bright.. but I am remaining optimistic and will continue watching and cheering them on.

    moms.. Caught the last 10 minutes of the Georgia/Alabama game… was down to the wire… I am sure you were cheering when that game was over !
    Hope you are feeling better ! Getting together with my sisters and one of my nieces today for brunch… Very happy they found some time in their schedule to spend some time together !

    Dixie.. Congrats of winning the Pet code… I usually try and enter that contest each month but never put in a pet’s name.. I am going to try it !
    Happy your sister’s surgery was successful and that she is home and recovering.
    It usually takes a couple of weeks for post op pain to subside but hopefully each day will be better and recovery continues to improve.
    I bet your mom is happy to be home but sorry to hear she is still having issues with brain fog… unfortunately some memory issues occur with age.. So difficult for family to see their parents begin to decline. Thoughts and prayers your way &hears;

    cmpets – i know what you mean, i feel for them . . . & the acc doesn’t get much respect, but if it’s supposed to be the best teams right now, i’m surprised they even ranked above uga (glad they did & think they deserved it, but still surprised)

    i do think the best 4 teams are probably playing new years day . . . without the injury, i would feel very differently & think the difficult decision would be texas OR alabama . . .

    moms- I say that all of the time too. I know they couldn’t re-code everything, but Next is just…not it

    I would guess the only reason people play it is because we all come from classic. And why is everything so expensive in that game? Ugh, so annoying.

    Gaga – I just realized at 11 p.m. that I missed Farmer’s day on my extra account. That means that garden will be even more pitiful…..I had a busy day and forgot!

    Moms & cmpets – I don’t know about the candy cane event in NEXT (the bookshelf is not a pretty as the one in Classic)…..and I agree I wish classic could be upgraded and that we could use mobile devices to play.

    Doing an art project tomorrow with pastels & oil pastels…..
