hello all….tim is putting the babies to sleep as we speak….
aaahhhhh!! feels greeatttt!!
we actually went out to eat tonite….we used a gift ccertificate that Tuck’s teacher gave me at xmas….
Besides tonite, Ihave been trying to make dinner earlier so we have some time to spend together…sometimes we haven’t eaten until 7:30 or 8:00..but, honestly, that is not unusual for around here…i am shooting for 6
what time do ya’ll eat dinner?
ps…i got an asian acount with the pig and it gave me all the items..potm, wish, extra $$$, etc…

Congrats on the aisian account I wasnt sure what to do with my lil kinz pig I already have one on the main account so I was thinking about putting the potm on a different account but then I would have the wishcoin on a different account and you can not send them through kinzpost

The thing that is frustrating on kinzblog is that you can only type a comment once. So if I say Hi everybody! I can never say that again. Also re-typing the numbers every time gets hard. 🙂

I got the telescope with my pig. No problem getting all my items either. We eat at a bunch of different times it depends on what day it is and we don’t always all eat at the same time. Our range is 5 to 9.

same here, tmt…i would like to be more consistent…many times I spend the evening in the kitchen, we eat, we got to bed…no family time…if i manage to have dinner ready by 6 we end up with a couple of hours before bedtime to relax together…i really enjoy that time and i think i need to have it to recharge….otherwise i feel like i am running a constant neverending race and i feel grumpy and shortchanged. 🙂

I have dinner ready by 5:30 almost every week night but with activities we don’t always have time to eat it until later. I often feed the kids and I eat later because I am busy getting stuff together to leave. On Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday we all get to sit down and eat together.

malaika the speeding one was hlarious and i didn’t see it coming…
tmt when tucker had b-ball he couldn’t eat before practice so we wouldn’t eat til 8 or 8:30
Tuck is down to one activity on thursday afternoon from 4:30-5:30 so I should be able to get it together and make meals on time
I was better this winter because it got dark here around five and i would head to the kitchen..it’s hard to stop when you are outside having fun with Daylight savings time and go in and cook

I know what you mean during the summer we have afternoon outside time when I normally make dinner the rest of the year. Who wants to be in the house at 4:30 when it is nice out. I don’t let the girls do as many activities during the summer because they can be playing outside with their friends. So I can cook later and we still get to eat at a decent time.

hola chicas!
We had grilled steaks, macaroni and cheese, corn, carrots for dinner. Almost didn’t have steaks 🙁 Alan was cleaning the grease out of the grill (while steaks on) and the small can he was using to collect the grease exploded. He burnt his hand, mainly his tumb. I could tell he was in a lot of pain but he’s acting like a big boy.
We normally eat dinner around 6:30pm. I start cooking around 5pm. Tonight we didn’t eat until 8pm.
Haven’t read email yet Malaika, will do soon.

It was beautiful today, Hailey went outside for a little bit to play while Andrew was taking a nap. I didn’t do much cleaning today, only got time to clean the bathrooms downstairs and vacummed 2 rooms. Still have the kids rooms to clean tomorrow and the rest of the downstairs. not much computer time 🙂

I don’t really like kinzblog now because it’s just so different. (i don’t like change much) I also don’t really like that there are no numbers next to the comments (it makes trading a nightmare) I don’t like the security code that we have to type every time. But I guess I’ll get used to it 🙁

Malaika, you might want to get in the habit of copy and paste 🙂 When tmt and I started chatting our comments were very long, I do not like to write much so I got frustrated when the comments would just dissapear lol so after typing I would copy everything and then submit. If they didn’t show then I didn’t have to retype…..paste and voila!
I like kinzblog the same, in fact a little better 🙂 I’m a little disturb of some of the adds but that’s it. I just haven’t had much time to post there.

Thanks for the laugh Malakia. I am sure you have noticed that at wedding receptions with out any drinks there are very few men dancing just a bunch of kids and women dancing with each other. That one about saying things made me think of that. I don’t understand why so many men need dutch courage to dance.

gymbo…it helps you break the house work down nto small increments so it isn’s so overwhelming.. 🙂
I usually only can squeeze in 20 minutes here or there so I thought I would give it a try… I am a terrible packrat…and if we want to sell this house I need to get a move on

Gina those pictures were from early last year, since then we had 2 bdays and christmas………that means more stuff to fill in the house lol I’m planning on collecting more toys tomorrow to take out of the house and donating them to church.

J had his first dad daughter dance lesson yesterday. S and him have been practicing. It is very cute. S is glowing because he is doing it with her. I can’t wait to see them at the recital.

i cried when I sent tuck to preschool(each year), kindergarten, first grade, and even a summer day camp he was in for 6 days over the summer…..for 4 hours a day!! i just melt when it comes to that kid!!

I guess what’s getting to me is the fact that she will be going everyday for longer hours.
about keeping stuff I do not keep much, I pass it on to family or friends. My mother in law on the other hand has all this little things that she’s kept for almost 40 years.

When my lil one started preschool this year I took it really hard especially when she would cry and scream for her mommy when it came time for me to leave I found myself picking up the phone and calling my mom crying feeling like the awful parent now she has made a lot of friends and loves it

Ooo you won one level 8. I have only managed four in a row three times on level 8 all the games I have played. Good job. Playing 6 to 10 games in a row usually gets you a trophy. My blog has the directions on how to find a really good games hint post on WI, Gina.
Is it half day or full day kindergarten?

Well I am not very good a scrap booking so know what I did I kept a bunck of papers and letters from the teachers pictures and report cards and put them in a 3 ring binder and made a Memory book for my oldest. It goes from K-3 since that is what the school she atened went to. I am now working on one for the sschool she is now attending she loves looking through it. I love looking at the difference in her writting from K to now it is amazing

Malaika that’s how I felt when Hailey started playschool 4 1/2 yrs ago. She cried the first 2 days but was fine after that.
Andrew cried for about 1 week. I would always wait around the corner to see if he will stop crying and he did, was fine after that week. He’s still not interested in learning lol, he loves to play.

Gymbo I was pregnant with my lil one when My oldest graduated from Kindegarten. It was nice I got to blame to tears on my Hormones. we then had a lil party for her with presents and a cake for making it through that mile stone

K did fine at the beginning of preschool getting dropped off but then around Christmas she started screaming and had to be pried off of me. She is fine again now.

I will def be doing some scrapbooking if I can ever get caught up. I’m 1yr behind right now, going to a retreat at the end of this month (for the weekend) and all we do there is scrapbook. Hopefully I’ll get caugth up then.

I missed my oldest first day my Loving honey got to go he was able to be off I was such a work a holic at the time. I am lucky now cause he wanted me home with the kids and chose to work so now I get to see all that I missed

The trick Gina is to learn to dodge almost everything instead of trying to catch. It takes a little practice to switch gears. Most of our trophies were won on levels 2 to 6 so you don’t have to be that good, just keep trying.

I’ll be too busy to get too sad when K starts. S will be in 5th, N in 1st, K in kindergarten and V in 4 year old preschool. Getting them all fed, on the bus or driven to school will keep me hopping.

Malakia I figured out what I was doing wrong in the candy bash one game. You have to keep the arrow over the dog or it won’t move. I got up to level 5 once.

We had meatloaf, rice with veggies and steamed cabbage for dinner. surprisingly the kids ate all their food 😯
Hailey got in trouble several times today for not listening.
Found and adopted brown dog. Only adopted him because of the PSI 🙂
It was hot today and started raining, pouring around dinner time, it is still raining (I guess Alan can kiss his veggy plants goodbye, planted a couple of days ago). Not sure if it’s raining tomorrow but don’t need anymore rain.
I think we’re heading to bed early tonight 🙁

Malaika, I’m so sorry your comment got deleted. I don’t know what’s going on today but I deleted 4 full pages of spam 🙁 by the time I had hit delete it was too late to uncheck your comment. You can repost. My apologies but once you select and delete you can’t retrieve it.
all of those comments I deleted where for some kind of casino advertisement. Alan says there’s nothing we can do about the spam here unless I moderate all the comments and there’s no way I can sit here 24/7 to do that 🙂 I think it’s a little aggravating when I have to wait on some sites for the comment to be approved but I know why they do it.
I took some chicken out to cook for dinner but as of right now 6pm it is still frozen 🙁 so we’re going out to eat!!!! woo hoo.

My husband took the kids out to his father’s farm today to play. The had a great time. I am so glad winter is almost over. I am looking forward to more time outside. The storms were kind of scary last night though. I was really surprised that I didn’t hear “mommy” at all last night. They must have been really tired. The wind and rain sounded like they were going to break the windows.

It looks like some of the tokens are considered “Super Tokens” and will give you a bonus prize. I believe this trophy is that prize!

I am wondering if its all the adds and information that is slowing down my computer. That site is slowly becoming a ghost town unfortuneately. There is an article on the wall of K’s preschool saying that watching those videos actually slows development. It doesn’t hurt any thing if they are used sparingly and if the child and parent are interacting with them like it says to.

Andrew’s been a little eel thing today, in such a bad mood. woke up around 5pm this afternoon from his nap so I put him back down to sleep off the attitude. He needs the sleep, he’s been waking up around 6:30am and that’s not normal for him.

Yes she is feeling better still has a cough and sneezes every once in awhile but the upset tummy and headaches are gone. 🙂 I am sorry to hear Andrew is not feeling well I hope he feels better soon. I hope your mom can get over the flu this year it has been pretty bad. You got to love VSmile we got it for my lil one she is just starting to understand somethings but she rather just get her big sis to play and they sit on the floor together on the lil roll out sofas. I love any type of food. 🙂
I have a couple codes that I am gonna enter tonight so after I do that I will let you know what we cam trade for. 🙂 I actually have 4 purple chairs so I decided that I can trade one and keep the rest. 🙂 I have them in my series 2.0 room in front of the tv

Nothing much for us. It has been raining all day long and the winds are really picking up tonight. Today my oldest was picked up and taken to a sleep over so my lil one and I went to A C Moore it is an arts and cratfs store. On saturdays they do make and takes for the kids so we made Easter Eggs. We liked the project so much that we bought the crayola set. I also bought a Lil Mermaid cake pan and the Icing colors cause they were 40% off eack 🙂 We then went to Hallmark didnt get what we went there for but still made out 🙂

Hi, bought a lil’ kinz leopard today for S. The new stuff wasn’t in yet so I think they are getting them Monday. We did class today, went to Halmark and then J met us at Noodles for lunch. He had to work this morning. I slept from 4:30 to 8:30. That fund raiser last night wore me out. S is doing homework, K is playing with littlest pet shops and J is shooting something on the computer trying to make brigadier general.

sushi for dinner…yum…really hit the spot…i will miss that when we move….I can;t imagine that in a county that has maybe 10 restaurants any of them will be sushi. we have literally hundreds where i am now.

I just bought 2 webkinz online at limited too. Kitkat told me about the sale.
They are having a sale buy 1 get one free only certain ones but that was fine with me she also told me to google a coupon so I saved another 5 dollars almost the webkinz were 16.50 each but if I buy one at Hallmark they are 14 and I did get 2 🙂

I had the same problem last night with the commenting too fast message and couldn’t comment on kinzblog either. I tried again here before going up to bed to read but it still didn’t work. I think from the comments I missed it by a couple of minutes. I watched Torchwood with J then read for awhile. My back was really hurting last night so I needed to get flat. here for a sec. for lunch we had scrambled eggs, pancakes and nuggets. Dinner we had sort of Chicken and dumplins (chicken with noodles). and green beans. the kiddos ate all their food both times and little Andrew even ate a bagel before bedtime so his appetite was great today.
the time throws up today. Nap time was short, bedtime……….well, they are in bed but I can hear them talking (monitor).
This week will be short. Going camping on Thursday and coming back Sunday. So I hope you guys keep up the blog 😉 lol

Yes I think I will stick to MA my friends in Canada want me there but to much cold and snow. My family in Florida want me there to much heat and humidity in the summers along with the storms. I am happy with my changing of the seasons especially Fall and we tend not to get the Hurricanes

We had a hurricane hit here (Floyd) right after Dennis hit in 1999. There was terrible flooding. So many people lost their homes. I was very pregnant with my oldest and we had to leave our house by boat. It was a mess. We were lucky though, our house didn’t get damaged. We were on top of a hill. I actually considered naming my oldest Floyd but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. We were quite a sight leaving with the cat, litter box and a bag of clothes getting into a boat.

Mass. has had a bout 2 or 3 hurricanes hit there. My kids loved it, because it was so different. When I was a kid, I lived in Florida. The hurricanes were terriable. I can remember being in a hanger, on Eglin A.F.B. and the roof being ripped off during it. It was really scary as a kid.

Well, the first day I was on kinzblog, at the bottom of the page, there were women in bikinis, and an arrow in the middle of each picture for viewing. If any of the parents saw that, I don’t think they would want their kids on there. I thought it was suppose to be a safe place for the kids. The adds were there several times when I went there. It is stuff that is not appropriate for kids. I hat having to type my e-mail address all the time, too. I do like her site. I hate to say this, but I wish she would make the print a little bit bigger.
Has anyone asked the kids why they aren’t going there???

I saw those ads too, Iuki. I didn’t like them at all. I haven’t seen them lately. I have seen some of the kids say that they hate typing in that number every time. That is a bit annoying when you forget to type it and have to type your whole comment over again.

I sure was, I also drove to Ohio, during the blizzard, to go and get my oldest step-son. I was so grateful my baby brother went with me. He was a truck driver, it really was a scary trip. All the interstate highways were shut down right behind us. i was never so scared in my life.

Yes I have spoke to several of the kids.
Most of them HATE the security codes each time and if you forget anything you need to retype everything which has happened to me on several occasions and boy was I frustrated each time.
Plus there were so many problems even now you can read all of the comments some run off the pages.
Some kids just didnt like any of the changes
I was really bothered with some of the ads and I brought them to her attention as did other parents.
Some of the things Michelle had no idea about until I brought them to her attention
In the beginning I saw her ther even less than the other site and she said this new site would free her up more I finally got a chance to really talk with her yesterday

Hi everyone. We had a tornado knock a tree over on to our house when I was little. The neighbor men helped my dad cut the tree down and get it off the roof. Fortunately there wasn’t any damage.

Winter of 78 that must have been when I was in fourth grade. We had over a week off from school and my dad even had some time off from work. My mom was watching two older kids that year so we spent lots of time outside building snow forts. Other than the first night driving home from an Uncles house which was scary I remember that time very fondly.

I have to agree that I don’t like the ads, even the ads that aren’t “bad”. Tonight when we were on kinzblog, the ad came up that sad that we had won an Ipod Nano. Well of course my 8 yr old thought that was great and I had a hard time explaining to him how some of the ads do that and that he should never click on any of them, etc. I just really don’t want him at his age to be on a site with ads like that or any ads really.

Back still hurts and my asthma is acting up too. Not a good weekend. We only sold about 10 boxes the hour we were there but they sold more before that. Every little bit helps. They are using some of the money they earn to go horse back riding at the local girl scout camp.

Thank you Kit Kat I am OK it just hurts some. I am used to it. I still did most of what I wanted to and had fun with my family. I just had to take some long naps. They had a stuffed animal sale at Meijer we got a panda, black horse and yellow lab for $11.36 a piece.

As for the ads I kinda felt the need to say something I have kids and my kids go on there at least they used to and plus I wouldnt want someone elses kids to see something that I dont want my own to see. yeah, sometimes some of the kids can be a little brutal. I haven’t let mine do any of the typing yet. He isn’t ready for all of that. I am still working with him on how to behave in the tournament area–not quiting on someone because he is losing. Today someone did it to him and I think he may have understood what I was trying to get through to him.

I haven’t heard of the lodge either. I don’t know if Frankenmouth (I don’t think I spelled that right) is known out side of Michigan but they have a large year round Christmas store and Bavarian village and they have a indoor water park too. We want to go there sometime. J and I had our honeymoon there but the water park wasn’t built yet.

I agree with you whole heartedly. I don’t want my Grandkids or Great Grandkids to see stuff like that either. I feel the same way about other kids. It can be very tempting to them. I don’t like any of the ads, either. What surprises me, is Michelle had a big fit about the BEE movie ads on webkinz, and her blog has all kinds of ads. I also had the one that said I won an I-pod too. Kids are kids, when it comes to things like that. They have no idea the trouble they can get into with just click, on the wrong thing…

I don’t mind the webkinz adds they aren’t doing them very often and they have been for things appropriate for the target age. Until recently I have been able to keep the girls off of the tv channels that have advertisements but S really want to watch nicktoons. There are a few shows on there I am OK with so I let them. Our city rec center has a nice pool with a water slide. We bought a member ship and take the girls every week when the weather is warmer. It has a really shallow area with sprayers for the little kids.

I know she didnt like the bee ads at first but when she started to get a lot she didnt mind them as much and I didnt hear her complain at all about the Chipmunks.
I have let my daughter on kinzblog but she has never typed anything and when she uses the computer its right there where I am at. I am not ready o let her have a computer in her room yet.

Kids can be very nieve when ever my daighterhears about any type of contest shes like oh yes I am gonna win or can you buy this I will win.

Our city has something similar, but with the water shortage here–you never know when it will be open. We planned our little one’s 4th b-day party there last year and they cancelled on us because they had to close the spray and play park because of the shortage. That was fun trying to explain that to an almost 4 yr old. It would be a great place to have a party though! 😆

I must have missed that add. I wasn’t on there that much before J got rid of the pictures. The one time I tried to let S type on a blog she freaked and didn’t know what to type. It was on here I thought she would have fun trying out a comment contest and I knew it would be safe enough with who was on at the time. We are getting her a computer for her room but J is putting a ton of restrictions on where she can go and at this point I think we can trust her to just play her games that we have already approved.

Sometimes at work I have to review tax returns of people that are filing for benefits and a lot of them are huge messes. IRS has their hands full, I’m sure. We have been getting tons of calls about the rebate that’s coming. I can’t even imagine the calls that IRS is getting.

We do use a CPA. I have to do a ton of stuff first before he can fill in the forms. I have to record income, expenses, meals, hours of operation, and car mileage. It takes hours to get it ready and it takes him about 20 minutes to do the actual taxes.

yep, I wish they could be comfortable in their own shoes and not really care what others are doing or saying. We went through a period last year (in first grade) where some of the kids were picking on one kid. I talked with B about it and he said that he did not participate in the name calling but he did not take a stand and tell the others that they shouldn’t be doing what they were doing. I was happy that he did not participate though. Kids can be so mean and he is at a small Christian school. The teacher had to intervene.

Every kid is different. I think S can handle the responsibility at least right now. I wouldn’t let her friend who is only four days younger have a computer in her room and I know I will have to keep a close eye on them when she is over. The neighbor is a good kid just a little more adventuresome than S is.

S is more likely to get in to arguments with her friends because she won’t let them push her around. She has made more friends at the gifted school than she had at her old school. They like to play pretend like fairies and princesses at recess. Interestingly their play is more innocent at this school than it was at the other one. The teacher even commented on that at her conference this fall. That she had a good group and they weren’t talking about who likes who and forming clicks.

I find it funny the commercials I see on tv sometimes
for instance I think I see Sonic commercials maybe 15 times a day and a Mcdonalds, Wendy’s, or Burgerking once in awhile but thats not the funny part the funny part is that ther are no Sonic’s up here

Since S likes dance so much I have been encouraging her to join the pom pom squad when she gets older. Unfortunately clicks are unavoidable with high schoolers, it seems to be hard wired. That way she will have a group and not just be one of the smart girls who the boys won’t talk to.

When ever I go to Florida we always stop at one the kids love that they bring the food out to you and some of them still have the girls in skates the kids think that is just the greatest

We were so happy when we got Tim Hortons because we liked going there when we visit Canada. We have one about a mile away and we never go there. It is funny one right near our house and the only time I have been in a Tim Hortons the last two years it was in Canada.

My uncle lives in our old house in MA and I guess the town itself has lead water pipes, not the house but the city water is run through lead pipes or at least was a few years ago when I went to visit. I grew up drinking that!!!

the boutique store close to us is no longer going to sell webkinz so they had them 1/2 off. I told a couple of people and they placed orders by phone so I’ve been sorting them out and getting them ready to mail or emailing the codes.

Not yet I had class tongiht so the kids and I went to my aunts house and she does not have the internet. My lil one seems to have stolen it from me but that is fine as long as I get the code eventually

Hey, I was reading the comments in the 1160’s and I saw that you were talking about POTM, and I just wanted to say that without knowing my first pet I adopted was the POTM!! I also have the pink poodle and the panda, now I can’t find them anywhere exept hallmark!
