Gaga – That’s how I feel about our house. We need to upgrade so many areas, but dh is looking at retirement soon and so not sure how all of that will work!

Good Morning !
It is a winter wonderland this morning ! Looking out it doesn’t seem to bad here yet so I am hopefully to get to grocery store before it gets too snowy ! Radio in general says to stay home unless you must travel… Should have gone yesterday…. but didn’t
I had so much fun at lunch yesterday… We walked down memory lane with stories of growing up and grade school … do you remembers !

only one around here is raffertys. nashville ish chain. gosh wonderful food, but they have been ignoring my nutrition label requests since jan of this year.
i hate to tell them that are noncompliance with fda regulations (as i do not want them to spit in my food)
our tree topper went down also moms! keep forgetting to look for one
totally forgot to look at my walgreens list earlier. I HAD A LIST
i am blaming dh, cuz he said he was checking out and getting in the car!

Good Evening !
I did get out early this morning to grocery store.. Picked up all the ingredients to make pot of chicken noodle soup and then found the entire poultry sections empty !
as well as the pork section… not one piece of chicken or pork… Tracked down a butcher who told me that the truck hadn’t come in yet…blamed it on Thanksgiving catch up ! so aggravated… then went to butcher counter and expressed my disappointment to a gal who normally is a cashier… Can’t believe it but she investigated and told me the truck was actually there and was able to get the chicken after all ! Where I live was luckier than the rest of CLE.. hearing much worse on east side… made the soup and stocked up…
moms… hope the broken ornaments weren’t of sentimental value to you or dh !
Nice that you were able to take a ” break’ from tree decorating to have lunch with your MIL… Glad the Farmer Will had the seeds you needed for your garden.. Often wondered if the pumpkin seeds sold in the W shop produced competition pumpkins… The e store now shows December upcoming items.. a couple of new pets are soon to be available.
dee…. Pizza is always so delicious ! Local pizzeria recently started to offer new pizza which has crumbled sausage.. thick sliced pepperoni and sprinkled on top with Romana cheese… now my favorite !
I also wanted to ask you if you have noticed the little locks on items at the Wish Factory in NEXT… today has that jacket ” locked “…hadn’t noticed the locks till recently.
Sheba…always good to get that 50% off the Deluxe… I think your account will let you know once Deluxe expires… Looks like there is yet another new Deluxe pet replacing the Peace Bear… ( ? January )

i bought my tree topper at Homegoods – do you have one of those stores? it was only $12.99 & is a very pretty beaded one – they had several – i wanted a sparkly star or snowflake for that tree
gaga – one of the ornaments was special because dh bought it for me on a trip he took, but it wasn’t one of the sentimental ones thank goodness – the one i broke, i can’t figure out for sure which one it was, i was afraid it was one from a family vacation, but i saw that one today, so i can’t figure out what it was & it shattered to smithereens

Dee – Tres Leches Cake is one of my favorite cakes! The one that I had at a Mexican wedding was the best, but I have tried others and enjoyed them, too. I rarely indulge, though, as I avoid dairy.

I think today is the day that I need to renew deluxe. I also have an extra deluxe membership from last year that I’m thinking of applying to my Royalmajesty account. Hello all!
Been a bit since I checked in. Our kitchen tile was finished before we left for Thanksgiving. So happy that it’s done and I love it. Three days with my family was a blast and so much fun. Got home and immediately had so many things to get done, Christmas cards ordered so they would be delivered on time. Presents to get ordered so they would get delivered on time. It seems like delivery times are way longer this year. My pre-lit tree is no longer pre-lit. Only about a handful of lights lit up. Had two appts. this week. Dh’s family is doing the big Christmas get together this year. 25 of us all in two cabins. So food sign ups and emails everywhere. I feel overwhelmed and it’s not even December yet.
dee—Had my dental cleaning on Tuesday. I switched to dh’s dentist. I got lip balm in my goodie bag!!!
gaga—So glad you got a bow! Thank you so much for all the food goodies!! Do you need more Santa Cupcakes?
moms—I wish there was an option to purchase extra veggies at the farm market too. Like if you miss a day you could at least purchase 4 plants the next time around or something.
Sheba—I keep my nephews old account active too. I just can’t let it go. 🙂

april – take a deep breath & remember, the holidays are supposed to be special – find ways to make it easier on yourself if you can, what matters is spending the time together – i’ve given myself a pass on decorating since i started feeling so bad yesterday & am considering skipping some of the “sit around” decorations that I haven’t done yet this year . . . if i put up 2 more garlands & the nutcrackers, i’ll be satisfied – the trees & lights are cheering me

Moms – Sorry about the cold symptoms appearing again! Not fun at all!
I don’t think I mentioned it to you all, but my Son-in-law tested positive for Covid after leaving our place. (It didn’t appear that anyone was sick during our Thanksgiving gathering). I taught my classes on Monday with a mask just in case, but so far I haven’t had any symptoms. My step-granddaughter has been sick this week, too, but her tests have come back negative. So far, so good for my dd and the lil’ baby girl.
