   moms.. so sorry that you have Covid but thankfully you have turned the corner !
   I have heard that Covid is spiking again… Thanks for the Fall Back reminder !
   Hopefully you can reschedule your visit with your younger ds .. soon…

   dee.. I checked out your Halloween Stereo Room ! You have a really big house !
   So neat and tidy ! If you happen to catch when the Rare is available in NEXT would appreciate a shout out ! Need for the weekly challenge.

   Sheba… I am not super good trader.. Have done two trades just to check it out !
   If you need any items let me know and I will see if I have them..

   Was supposed to get together tomorrow for family brunch..I guess everyone is busy so we will have to reschedule… Hopefully soon as I missed the last one because of my computer problems.

   Took my friend to get her toes done yesterday… She chose to have ” turkey toes”
   they turned out really cute and she was so excited to have them done !

   Moms – I just sent you an e-mail and then came here and read that you have Covid! So sorry to hear about that! Hope you are feeling better soon! It’s a bummer that it interferes with your visit to ds.

   As far as Covid – I have had a student out almost each Monday with Covid since Sept. 11. I am hoping that ALL are well for the tea party day. I am only planning one this school year.

   Gaga – 6:06 a.m. That stands out to me because in the old Mennonite hymnal 606 is one of the most beautiful hymns sung in four-part harmony. “Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow”. Whenever I see 606 together it reminds me of this hymn.

   Turkey toes sounds cute, Gaga! Glad that your friend was happy with them!
   That’s too bad your family gathering has to be rescheduled. Will you be gathering for Thanksgiving with them?

   Dee – I want to see your NEXT house now! My house needs a major remodeling already.

   Dh is off and meeting with a friend for breakfast in another town so he had to leave early, which may explain why I got up an hour earlier than I usually do.

   I had an off day yesterday. I couldn’t figure out why I was so tired, but today I realized it was probably because of the blood work done at the doctor’s office. I’m having some trouble with my eyes….so cataract surgery will be in my near future. And some other troubles…..

   Well, the laundry is going and now I need to see about some morning coffee!

   Probably not going anywhere for Thanksgiving… since my mom is not here I don’t really have plans… although my new neighbor’s sister invited me to her home and said they did not want me home by myself on Thanksgiving and her husband would be over to bring to her home if I don’t go somewhere ( LOL ) I really don’t mind being home…we’ll see.

   moms… I just got home from errands and going to the dumb stupid grocery store to shop some dumb stupid food !!! ( your previous post.. still makes me laugh )
   Anyway… I really hate trying to figure out what to make for dumb stupid meals !

   one time when dh was gone, our neighbors had dd and i over for dinner as they thought we were lonely

   the worst meal ever……….poor dd was still little ish, so was watching me to see how to spit the food out nicely………that napkin was not big enough.
   dd also watched her mom fib about the big breakfast we had already had.
   i mean the chicken was still really pink. blech blech blech

   i just wish i understood music enough to know what 4 part harmonies mean – my brain doesn’t process it that way i’ve tried music & instrument lessons, but i do understand beautiful sounds ♥

   Gaga – After Dee’s comment, I’m not sure I would want to “risk” going to a neighbor’s house for Thanksgiving. LOL! My mom used to invite a neighbor over every Thanksgiving that lived on her own. She would always decline, but we would always take her a big plate of Thanksgiving dinner, which she appreciated. My mom is a great cook (or maybe I should say “was” because she doesn’t cook much anymore) and the food was delicious. Nothing like Dee’s experience with her neighbor.

   Sorry I missed the Aztec Dining Chair. That is one that I would have bought to meet the challenge requirement! I was running “stupid dumb” errands this morning. I had to wait in a long line at the bank, but had fun shopping at $ store & got a few “stupid dumb” groceries for the tea party. I was able to find Sugar Cubes, which the girls LOVE! It is a bit of a novelty for them. I usually have trouble finding them every year.

    gaga—Thank you so much for the gifts!!! Is there anything you are looking for? I love the new Fall Flower Boxes as well. So pretty. Did you get a lot conservatories? I did. Very disproportionate to the other items I thought. If anyone is interested in a Fall Flower Box Conservatory let me know, I have plenty to give away. Yes, I’m a Michigan fan. Was curious how those ranking would shake out. So glad you are enjoying walking your neighbors golden. I’m sure he loves it and his mom probably does too. I hope his legs are okay. His leg splaying out didn’t sound good. It will be interesting to see how Detroit uses D. Peoples Jones. Hoping he does well there. Sorry you didn’t get to have family get together this weekend. Hopefully everyone will be available next week. Turkey toes, so cute!

    dee—I don’t know what to do with my grandparents china either. It’s been sitting in boxes in the basement for years. I don’t really like it, but I have so many happy memories tied to them. I cannot seem to part with it even if I knew where to sell it. That’s so cute kitten was watching ‘animal planet’ out the window. That neighbor dinner sounds horrible…pink chicken, yikes!

    Sheba—My grandparents china is hand wash too. So we don’t use it…hahaha. I hope planning for the tea parties is going well. It sound so fun, I want to go too! That’s cute the girls all bring something. The 606 hymn sounds really beautiful. I also know nothing about music either, just love listening. 🙂 My next house needs a remodel too…I have random animals every where. Sorry to hear you are having eye problems and other medical issues. Hope you are feeling a bit better today.

    moms—oh no. I’m sorry you have covid. I hope you are starting to feel better. And I’m sorry you missed your visit with your ds. But as you said, at least it hit before you went there. Big hugs and prayers ♥

    Topazz—Very glad you are here too! And that’s okay, some days I have nothing to say too.

    So you all will appreciate this. For weeks I’ve been craving a piece of cheesecake…no idea why. Dh loves cheesecake so I decide to make one yesterday. I did the whole water bath, let it cool in the oven for an house with the door cracked. Then let it cool on the counter for another hour. When I pulled the foil off the bottom of the pan (to protect it from the water bath) Some of the butter in the crust had leaked out and made the bottom greasy/slippery. You know where this is going…I dropped it!!! It flipped over into itself on the counter. I gasped so loud Dh yelled up from the basement and asked if I was okay. I said NO. He came up the stairs and saw the cheesecake spilled all over on the counter and started laughing and said ‘Oh honey’ and then I started laughing. We scooped it back into he pan as best we could. It’s now a cheesecake trifle and it was still delicious.

    no outdoor pizza oven, but dh has grilled pizzas on the big green eggs in the past . . . the outdoor ovens look pretty cool to me though

    “turkey toes” makes me smile every time i see it typed, so i hope gaga’s friend smiles every time she sees hers!

    not the cheesecake!!!! i would have called it something much worse – i KNOW how much work that is – i haven’t made one in YEARS, but i have a great recipe . . . i would cry if i dropped it, but i would eat it off the counter too 🙂

    Forgot to turn my clocks back ! ( LOL ) Was shocked when I looked at the clock when I was logging on computer ! I had to do a double take ! Oh well … I was ready to get up anyway.

    April.. So sorry that your cheesecake slipped off onto the counter ! It was a funny story and I am sure the ” trifle” was really good ! Sounds like a lot of work though. I am sure dh enjoyed not only a laugh but the cheesecake !

    My new neighbor’s sister apparently loves to decorate for Christmas ! She already has 8 trees up and decorated and still working on the rest !! She starts before Halloween… My neighbor texted yesterday and he is also putting up his 2 trees !

    Topazz.. I never know what to say half the time either especially since I cannot talk about a certain someone… We are just happy you join in !

    Okay, so this is too early for me, but hello everyone!

    April – You were brave to even try to make a cheesecake, imo. Glad that it was still delicious!

    Dee – Don’t know anything about a pizza/bread oven for outdoors. Sometimes I make homemade pizza in my kitchen, but usually we just order pizza.

    Gaga – I took advantage of the game of the day yesterday for Home Before Dark and got that part of the challenge checked off on two accounts. My pet peeve with Sparky is that he usually wants me to play that game with a score of 5,500+ and it is impossible. I will say that yesterday I reached the high score of 4,004 (I think…it was at least 4,000).

    qos – i thought of you this morning when i made my tea, so i added a sugar cube LOL – i mostly just use honey, but i keep cubes because there is just something about using cubes in tea – it’s special that you make that special for your girls

You still have plenty of time to get the maple covered apples… I can’t imagine how anyone is able to get to level 10 on Mazin Game.. have so much trouble with the easy game but was able to finish that portion of NEXT challenge… Seems like they drag out some of the challenges .. are not offering the music program in the Academy..

    moms—I would have eaten that bad boy off the floor! lol Just like Rachel and Joey did in that friends episode. I was on the verge of tears until dh started laughing. Hope you were able to get some good sleep. I have everything I was wanting from the fall boxes, but thank you!!! Took me forever to get a bed. IKR, they should have programed the boxes to give more walls! That’s what we need the most of. I got 3 walls and will only use 2, so you are welcome to my extra one if you would like.

    LL—I feel like the last few months have flown by!

    gaga—Thanks! The cheesecake was so much work and it looked perfect. And then splat. I’m glad we could still eat it anyway. Thanks so much for the offer 🙂 … I was finally able to get a fall flower bed. So I have everything I want from the fall boxes. I am super excited for the Christmas crackers and bags too. So happy you got to talk with someone! I’m so bummed the OSU/UofM game is that Saturday. We will be driving back from my brothers house and will miss most of the game. I know my brother will try and talk us into staying another night so we can watch the game together, but I just don’t like being away from home and Stella for more than 3 nights. I don’t fully understand the Michigan cheating thing either. I know someone got suspended. I’ve gotten 2 of the home before dark games and it will not let me get past 2,000 now to complete the task. Today I was 12 points short. I was so mad. hahaha And the slag … that will take me all five weeks.
