   dee – you still have super powers, i just checked & found something, guessing it was a boper update ? but i think i set it so you are clear now – when you log in, see if there’s anything to confirm your log in either on the site or via email, but i think you’re good to go

   cmp – you could easily swap out cannelini or kidney (or both) for the meat, but add some crushed red pepper………..i can not remember if you do dairy. i can get a heavy cream alt from dd if ya need it……..trust me, she is a cook!

   Below is the word hearts in lower case after the ampersand symbol….immediately after the “s” you put the semi-colon.

   I don’t think you have to press enter to get the symbol like I said in post #6.

   But when you press enter to publish your comment the symbol should show up correctly.

    Popping on real quick to say Moms, sorry you are going through this part of life, thoughts, prayers and hugs sent your way.

    We won today, so fun day for us. Having a blast with dd and her friends.

    People in the next room (at the hotel) are fighting, so hoping I will eventually get some sleep. Fun fun, I can hear every word. I did bring ear plugs, so putting those in.

    Will check in tomorrow if I can.

    April…Are you and Stella doing OK ? Did your dh get his df situated ? Hope things are going smoothy with getting him settled somewhere that he can be safe and monitored … So difficult when parents are elderly and begin to lose their independence and sometimes their home living arrangements..

    Good morning!

    Arrghhh….about the holiday! I’ve been trying to mail a card to my niece for her birthday and was trying to get her updated address. I got it on Saturday (we were out of town). I had taken the card along with me and I addressed it, yet when we came back into town we passed the post office forgetting to drop it in the mail. And now….another delay!

    P.S. I had the correct address! I could have mailed it to her last week and she would have gotten her birthday greetings in time!

    Little stuff compared to what others are going through.

    Good Monday morning to all!

    gaga—Thank you so much for the gifts!!! I really appreciate it. Will have some to send to you soon. I’m sorry you aren’t feeling well. It took me forever to turn the corner. I spent the weekend on the couch. The upper respiratory infection loves to hang out in my lungs and mess with my asthma. Woke up this morning and my ears unplugged…whoo hoo. Well, in good news my FIL seems to be doing better, but I fear DH and his sister aren’t preparing for what’s to come. They are letting him continue to live alone, (SIL lives five minutes away and checks on him) but she has a full-time job and a family. While DH was there his father was acting off and slurring his words. They rushed him to ER. All the tests came back normal, they get home and DH notices the brand new bottle of bourbon is 3/4 gone. He was just drunk. He was getting up in the middle of the night and having a glass of bourbon, going back to bed, waking up, forgetting he already had his ‘night time’ drink and having another one. So DH cleared out all the liquor. Woke up the next morning and his father is drinking a beer for breakfast. My poor DH. His family operates so different from mine. I decided my job was to make sure DH is supported and try and make sure he has what he needs through all of this. DH is finally home. He was exhausted. I’m just hoping his dad does okay for now. I’ve told him he needs to start looking for an assisted living place, but I think he’s just trying to catch his breath right now. They are looking into a home health care person coming by once or twice a day. We will hope for the best. Hope you get to feeling better! Did you get the Autumn Bow? I got one with your name on it if you need one. Stella is doing great. She was so happy to have DH home.

    moms—I’ve been thinking of you this past week. I hope you are doing okay. ♥

    Haven’t read back at all yet. Hope everyone is doing well.

    The people next door finally worked it out that evening, a few f bombs and not going to stand for you treating me this way any longer kind of stuff. We still had to go down and have them call up to the room, they had their tv on, loudish and it was 11:30, I was over it.

    They left yesterday with most of the parents, so last night was quieter. DD came and stayed with us at the hotel which was nice. We are at her house hanging out with her now while she does a few things for school, then off to the airport.

    Yes I will cry, and next time we see her when she comes home for winter break, she will be 21. Had a great visit, can’t believe it’s our last Parents Weekend.

    april – i’m sure you are being a great support for your dh – my dh is being wonderfully loving & supportive ♥

    dee – my pets are also being extra loving when i can get home for a brief minute once or twice a day – baby girl is making biscuits on me now as i type

    all – things are difficult right now as i am the sole caretaker & meds are every 2 hrs atm . . . i can’t use the facility med techs to help me out because of stupid laws & regulations & dumb crap that doesn’t matter much right now, but i should have some relief tomorrow or the next day when new longer acting meds are scheduled for delivery & should take effect . . . dh would help or whatever, but it has always been me – ya know what i mean ???? *sigh* but he is helping with literally everything else

    will put a link when i see it…..costumes, black kitty, arcade has a board now, where you get prizes from hitting certain kc levels.
    already got the tile tower and working on the junbleberry and lily padz

    some of them will never happen for me……..scores seem crazy high for some of the poopier games imo
