Thanks for the update, Dee. Loving those clothing designs. I had submitted a similar dress only in pink, many years ago. I found that they have favorites, so I keep my designs to myself, now.

Good Afternoon All !
As always dee and moms your banter makes me chuckle ! I was up and out of here at 7 for eye appointment.. Thought it was odd that unable to post even after arriving home.. unusual ! Thank for all the updates ! I have to say that I’m not wowed by the Super Mystery bags…but bought a few anyway..
moms… Sometimes time has a way of getting away from us ! Ophthalmologist told me one eye is ready to have cataract removed…Not ready for that yet.. Vision seems fine to me .. and will discuss it on next 6 month visit…
dee..Did you happen to notice in the NEXT season prize list the high desk chair ??
Wondering if it is one of those walking chairs ! Can’t wait to find out !
Sheba.. NEXT challenges for week one don’t seem too difficult.. Looks like they

Moms – I didn’t notice that you had given Dixie the answer to the heart question and answered it again! Sorry your mom hasn’t been feeling well.
I watched little girl two afternoons in a row. Today, was a bit of a hard day. I was mad about something….left later than I wanted to pick up lil’ girl. Got stuck in traffic on the way due to a broken down semi-truck. After picking her up (30 minute drive each way), we got stuck in traffic again due to some car accident and it took over an hour to get to my home. She was good about it, but I was GROUCHY.
We didn’t have much play time before I needed to start dinner. But overall, we had fun together. She loves to cook (making up for my lack of interest), and she helped me to make the corn bread. She is 2 1/3 years old.
Totally wiped which is unusual for this night owl!

Lots of talk on the news these days about Covid being on the rise again.. not looking forward to cold weather and having to gather places inside.. need to start thinking about needed updated vaccines.
Sheba.. How cute that your little granddaughter likes to help you cook ! Travel time is hard enough without having to deal with the traffic and disabled vehicles causing a back up ! Hope you can chill out this weekend and catch up on much needed rest and relaxation ! NEXT seems to be making challenges more attainable…finished this week’s tasks already.. pressure is off.
dee.. Cake Off very glitchy yesterday… Despite being ‘Joined in ” was not able to collect the ingredients.. Any news on when the next maintenance is scheduled for NEXT… possible return ot the ghost ?

Covid-sorry to hear you have it topazz, ans moms, your bil, it is on the rise. Was not fun having that again last month, but makes me not as nervous to travel this week. I never tested, but DH did, and pretty sure i gave it to him, I was sick first, plus we quarantined together. His was worse, but still not nearly as bad as the first time. More people wearing masks here voluntarily again.
Need to order more tests, thanks for the link dee. We bought some when we had it since ours were expired, but I see now it says those are fine to use.
Going to a few more furniture stores this afternoon. Decided to try and just find a smaller couch that will work for here since we will only be here a year. Then once we know what we are doing next year, we can get a couch we love. Being back has been good, but Nashville still at the top of our list.

i think my mom is a little bit better – her physical decline & mental decline with this round are pretty alarming, we will see if she rebounds at all, but it seems like it’s always a new “normal” anyway . . . i was not coping well, but i think i am coping better now, although i have to socialize tonight for dh & i absolutely don’t want to – it’s dinner though, so hopefully not too long or late . . .

Dh and I lived in the south bend area for almost 10 years and DH’s grandfather played for ND. He proposed to dh’s grandmother on campus. That’s awesome you meet a new pup! I have the hot dog roller grill. It just turns on and off. Kinda lame. Wish it gave out a hot dog for the pet to eat.
