   moms and dee… you guys really make me laugh with your banter !
   Totally missed earlier post…

   moms.. I am sure your mom was happy to get for a bit today !
   I didn’t make it through the whole game last night but checked the score this morning and a little surprised at the score ! Wasn’t what I had expected.. I agree that Mahomes looked lost without Kelce .. always seems to be his go to guy.
   My friend chose to have the CLE Browns themed toes… and her mom and dad were able to go out for a bite to eat while be were out. It was a lot of fun and we laughed so much !

   dee.. Happy you were able to get fishing today. Not having much luck in Cake Off but I was totally distracted by that creature sitting on a chair running around !
   (LOL)

   April.. Sounds like your knee injury is improving but at the expense of your back !
   How frustrating for you..Hopefully the muscle relaxants will help and with a bit more time you will be back on track and feel yourself again.

   I hope to be more chatty tomorrow but I’m all in tonight.

   Happy Saturday !

   moms… I am kind of hooked on Shark Tank these days… Had never watched it until recently but stumbled upon the show and find it really interesting !
   Seems like I struggle to post since I am no longer allowed to tell everyone how wonderful you know who is !
   Still having so many problems since I had put a hold on my banking for 36 hours due to my computer problems… Thought I had everything straightened out until I went to the store yesterday and they weren’t going to approve my check !!
   It figures that this particular store tried to cash my check on the one full day that I had frozen the account ! They finally did but so aggravating !

   dee.. I saw on your post that you caught lots of fish … always interesting in hearing about any wildlife you may have seen ! Big Cake Off day today !
   I did get a bakers coat but was disappointed because I was leading all the way till the very end !

   moms—Post 7 Facts! LOL! Mid 40s my body just went…nope, not going to do that anymore. And one thing goes wrong it seems to cascade to other parts not working. The muscle relaxers are helping a lot. The back is nothing new, but the knees are new.

   gaga—Thanks, it’s all slowly getting better. I didn’t realize you had to freeze your bank acct. because of all the computer problems. I hope that gets cleared up soon, how frustrating.

   dee—I will definitely start from the beginning with Psych. Dh and I have a couple of shows we watch, but he’s been gone during the week lately so I need a new show that I can watch by myself. Congrats on the fish haul! And wining a mixer all by yourself. I should try the cake off again.

    sweets
    fresh fruit
    raisins/craisins
    fruit cups – the no sugar ones if they do not have the fake sugar stuff in them
    yogurt ( i like the yoplait whips)
    caramel rice cakes

    i do partake in my baking, but not crazy. helps that i can freeze what i bake, which is handy with camping/fishing/road trips
    part of the whole getting old thing and there are things i still want to do!
    i have lots of serve two type recipes which is handy. my dh on the other hand has not met a pecan pie he did not like! which is great, as i do not like pecan pie……..i do however adore these cream cheese pecan pie tartlets that i have not made in years! ha ha ha

    I am back! The week away was mostly fun! Lil’ girl was there for 3 of the days. We came home mid-week to go to family & friends visitation for a previous co-worker/friend of my husband’s. He passed away a week ago. My dh worked over 20 years with him (in his early career). But when we came home to get ready for the evening we discovered NO A/C!!!! Long story short, compressor is shot. Won’t be fixed until next week sometime. Returned to our vacation spot and visited a couple of art museums on our last full day. On our way home today we stopped and visited our youngest son along the way. He is at a new place so it was nice to get a tour. We played a game together…one of my favorites called “Azul”.

    April – Even though it is a bit uncomfortable to have the fluid drained from my knee, I always felt so much better once it was done.

    For those talking about sugar….I have found that I feel much better the less sugar that I have. Probably because I deal with so much joint pain (=inflammation). And I did terrible this week on vacation. Sigh. Within the past couple of weeks we celebrated three birthdays which equals a lot of cake. Plus, we always treat ourselves to treats on vacation so more sweets than normal. Can’t wait to get back to my regular routine/diet. I feel so much better when I eat my own food and avoid an excess of carbs/sugars and a number of other foods that I typically avoid….

    For those talking about grey….I like to think that I have naturally colored silver highlights! 😉 LOL. I have never colored my hair. Not sure about it. I look much younger than I am (or so I’ve been told), but if anyone would watch me move too closely about they might think that I am much older than I am.

    For anyone wondering about my classes ….I am not yet ready. Tomorrow, which should be a day of relaxation will be a work day for me. I guess I’ve had a whole week of relaxing, so don’t feel too sorry for me. Usually I work on my vacation, but I decided not to do so this time.

    Farmers Market!

    dee… thanks for the NEXT Code ! Unable to solve treasure chest but was able to get a bakers coat and a blender yesterday… No internet for some reason in the afternoon but after several calls to provider finally fixed !
    Making Salami roll ups and stuffed celery for the game today !

    moms.. the kitten picture was really cute ! I am sure April got a kick out of it !
    Finished the book yesterday.. The Butterfly and the Violin ! Loved it.. would recommend it.. Will have to check on the injury to college player.. Hope he is ok and not seriously injured !

    Sheba… Happy you had a nice time on vacation but sorry you had to return for a death of former dh coworker…I guess when it rains it pours…Almost nothing worse when A/C konks out when you really need it ! Weather has really cooled off here but am worried about my A/C breaking down as it is over 20 years old..
    Starting to think about replacing it next year.. Adding it to the list !

    April.. I guess the saying slow and steady wins the race holds true.. Hope you continue to feel better ! Yes.. computer issue has been a total nightmare for me but hopefully all straightened around.. Did realize putting a 36 hour freeze on my accounts would cause so much trouble….Thinking about cutting up my grocery card and sending it back because the woman who I was dealing with was mean as a snake ! She made me feel like a hardened criminal and didn’t really care about my situation !

    Good morning!

    Gaga – 20 years is a long time to have the same A/C system! Ours was 2 years old! 15 year warranty, so compressor will be replaced for “free”, yet all the work and equipment needed to take out the old and put in the new will be over $2,850. Getting another quote tomorrow. The rain that came in yesterday cooled things down a bit so the high today will be 82. That is helpful! We slept with windows open and fans blowing just like in the good ole’ days. Ha ha!

    Moms – I didn’t miss anything to my knowledge! It was hard to fit WW time in, but I managed! I wonder if I missed a day and didn’t realize it, but I have enough of everything.

    if it is that much, you may want to replace…..check what energystar rebates and your local utility rebates are.

    we had to replace our really old one and got a whole bunch of money back

    but we have a heat pump thingy

    i don’t know how to look at scores on next – like is there somewhere to see high scores or your scores in the arcade???

    to screen shot like a score or something on your computer screen – try pressing ctrl & prt scr at the same time – your prt scr button should be along the top to the right of the F12 button . . .

    then you can paste the print screen in an email to send to me (right mouse click in the email & select paste) or paste it in paint to edit/save it or whatever – the blog will NOT let you paste it in a comment!
