got another coat and two mixers……..both were that blueish speckle one

i could totally eat different kinds of salads everyday moms as meals
i often have a bag of popcorn for dinner!
or carrots and hummus………..
and that dutch apple bread thing is mighty mighty fine……..looks just like the pic when you cut it……….the apples kind of dissolve into the bread (which is very dense with all them eggs)
he made himself shrimp and a box of some kind of jamalaya ish rice for lunch…………and he still has chili so……
just seems all the box stuff has sooooo much salt in it that i can not eat it

Good evening!
I had a much longer nap than intended and missed the cook-off in the 6 p.m. hour. I only made the 3-4 one today. Only won a bit of cash & 5 points. I did win one of the mixers yesterday…the purple one with what looks like jelly beans decorating it.
Lil’ dd is gone now and I’m missing her terribly. It was a fun summer having her here. ♥

Moms – distractions are needed, so I’m with you there! Going to go out with two friends for the day on Tuesday on a little road trip across the mountains to do some shopping together and have lunch out. This is highly unusual for me as I am not a shopper, but the need for getting out and about and doing something different will be good for me.

Oh….my first teacher meeting is on Thursday, so I’m needing to gear up for a new school year. I only teach one afternoon a week this year instead of a whole day. I purposely chose to cut back my hours by cutting out a class (or two or three depending on the interests) that I have taught for 18 years. This year I’m only teaching the American Girl class (combo of history & crafts). I have three classes lined up to start in September.

Dee – My dh likes to have meat with every meal, too.
Other news in my neighborhood is that two cars were stolen overnight/early morning on Thurs/Fri. One car was packed up to take a young person to college the next day! I can’t imagine the stress of not only losing a car but all the stuff for college that was packed in that car! We have had an increase of solicitors and there is a theory that they may behind the thefts as it is seems to happen in neighborhoods in our area that have had their solicitations.

Geek Squad did solve the email issue but intends to ask a fellow Geek Man who specializes in that kind of problem and let me know.. He was here for two hours and set up new email and did a few other things…. I will go today and get another company to take over my computer service… So I guess will see what happens.
Missed family luncheon but hopefully will have another one soon.

Sheba… That is terrible for the neighborhood stolen cars… particularly for family whose child was heading off to college… Can’t image all that will need to be replaced and what condition the car will be in when recovered.

Gaga – the NEXT seasons always have one day off in between the previous season and new season. I am glad because I need a break. So….sounds like you had to set up a new e-mail. That’s crazy! I was hoping that just a change in a password would fix it. That makes me mad that someone can cause so much havoc.

Dee – I had popcorn for dinner last night, along with a peach.
As far as the stolen car….I haven’t heard that the one with college stuff has been recovered, but the other one was found wrecked.

All good here. we had steady rain, but nothing crazy. The highway to the deserts were flooded, so hopefully that has been cleared.
Sunny/Partly cloudy here now.
Did not feel the earthquake, but lots of friends in Los Angeles did. Small one, so they are all okay.
Interesting way to get welcomed back here though.
qos-As someone who had their car stolen while 8 months pregnant, which was then used in a robbery, chased by police, crashed and had already been stripped, sorry to hear about that for your neighbors. There is an increase of that here as well, no surprise with our current laws. Will send good wishes, such a nightmare.
I would love your American Girl class!!! We have a pretty good collection. Loved taking dd to the store and doing the dining/tea time experience. They may have been more for me than her, but either way, we enjoyed them.
moms-Are we all invited over once your place is all set up? :)))
dee- Keep collecting those prizes, maybe we can trade. I do have 5 of those periodic charts from the apple collection if you still need one.
gaga-Glad they were able to set up a new account for you. Being hacked is an awful experience. Use a strong password, even that doesn’t help sometimes.
We are at the library working today, and I am using my personal vpn vs the free wi-fi. Would be nice if we lived in a world where things were secure, but alas, we do not.

Dee – I never thought to use my pet that has the speed factor associated with it. To be honest, I haven’t noticed much difference. But I will give it a try.

I won my first baker’s coat. I used my pet that has some speed, but I’m not sure that it really helped. I seemed to freeze at times when traveling on the map.

i am thinking it is because it is 98 degrees out
he does have a good point about it not getting rained on tho
it is a new tent we bought after last camping trip, that we have not even opened……life got in the way
and rain etc
and NO, we do not camp when it is hot………we would rather camp in snow
and it is not bad………..we have a queen airbed which is quite comfy. i usually prep good stuff to cook over the fire. at our fave site, the potty is only a five minute, at most, away.
and it flushes!
only other campers will get that π

Seems like those players that have a Mazin Hamster ball go so fast and get all of the ingredients ! I think you need to reach level 10 before you can get one…. not happening for me !

Go to the statue of the ? Lion with black graduation cap .. click on it
then you can drag your cards but be certain you use the same pet when you play the games… The skills points go to that pet only

Going to try it today with the correct pet ! Heat heading this way tomorrow but has been beautiful here… don’t tolerate the heat as well as I used to.
moms… The heat down South is part of the reason my bro chosen to come up here for the summers… He always say how hot and humid it is down South…

Super School Day at the Classic KA! I’ve been trying to put one pet through on each account because I want to get to recess to get the new prizes. I don’t want to try to collect once I hear they are retiring like I did recently! LOL! I know we will probably have years, but I’m trying to be proactive. Of course, I don’t always have time so I have key accounts that are done daily. On Super School Day I try to do them all.
As far as NEXT…..I don’t think the speed card (I have them all for my first pet) helps my pet to be faster for the Great Bake-Off Event. It seems like cars or the hamster ball are faster, but I have hesitated to use a vehicle ever since it seemed to get stuck when I was filling up the ingredients and it booted me out of the contest. Then I had to wait until the next time slot. It made me so mad that I have not wanted to use a car. I also hate when I go to get an ingredient and some invisible pet grabs it before me. I wouldn’t go in that direction if I saw a pet there. Venting a bit….
Also, I have all of the mining cards for my first pet. It means that I can go mining twice with that pet and that I can get higher valued gems. It doesn’t always work out that way, but I do think it increases my chances.
