Gaga – Thanks for all the info! I was able to get several potted plants. As far as the buried treasure prizes being boring…..I agree. But as I recall, my gym outfits in school were pretty boring, too. No excuse, really.

Dee – Good for you on getting one of the new prizes. I have another week at least before I get to go to recess. 15 days is such a LONG wait.
I just picked up my dd from her brother’s house, so I’ve been on the road a lot today. Arrived home about a half of an hour ago. I ate a sandwich and my dd had some of the leftover enchilada orzo. 😉

gaga—Thanks for all the info! I’m so happy to hear Castro’s owner left you a nice note and he is okay. And so glad your car is okay. That was probably really stressful! Enjoy lunch today with your mom’s neighbor. Well, my old computer is officially on it’s last leg. Wouldn’t boot up last week. I finally got it to work, sort of. Went Friday and ordered a new laptop and display/keyboard. Was way overdue. Should be able to pick it all up sometime this week.
dee—Congrats on the new prize. I have a couple more days to go before recess. Will have to try that enchilada orzo dish!
Sheba—Enjoy having your youngest dd home!
I managed to get some seed trees yesterday. My first one. I haven’t been able to play very much this past week and weekend. Hopefully I will have more time and it will be easier this week. My treasure chest map glitched yesterday. It wouldn’t fully load. Just had one cannon, one mirror and one square of cannon balls. No locks! lol Was playing on my phone… I tried touching everywhere, but it was just stuck. Oh well. But, I made it to the farmer’s market and got some much needed veggies. Hi All-
Finally logged on to ww today for the first time in who knows how long. Got one packet of the seeds, happy with that considering my crazy life currently. Good thing I don’t care about this season on Next because definitely have not made time for that.
Concert is tomorrow, will let you know how it went. Still deciding our outfits and which era everyone is doing. pretty sure dd, her friend and I are Reputation and my friends are going Fearless.

Sheba.. Hope your weather calms down ! Had lunch with my mom’s neighbor yesterday. It was fun to catch up with her. She was so good to my mom.
She says new owner is not very friendly…She had taken over some homemade banana bread to welcome her to the neighborhood but she did not invite her in nor did she acknowledge the nice gesture.

Wonder if you have ever heard of a Dalmadoodle ? I googled it yesterday because I figured they mix most breeds these days with Poodles… and found some really cute versions of the Dalmadoodles !

Gaga – sounds like a frustrating way to start the day! Hope you get back internet and phone service soon! And phooey on the new neighbor! I’m sorry to hear that. Who would not at least say thank you for the gift of banana bread?
When we moved into our last neighborhood, the neighbor next door came over to greet us and welcome us. We hear the story about how she had brought over homemade cherry pie to the people who had moved in before us and how they were unappreciative. After listening to her story and hearing about how much it hurt her, I said, “I would never turn down a cherry pie,” hoping secretly that she would bring me one, but she never did. Even if I didn’t like what was brought to me, it is just common courtesy to say thank you for your thoughtfulness.

Such a big adjustment for all of you.. I guess the best thing to do is try and keep busy and rely on friends and family for support.

April.. My nephew in CT’s pup had new onset of seizures… He rushed him to the vet..they did some routine testing and observed him for a while.. and sent him home… suspecting some kind of poisoning ?? Mushrooms ??
Waiting to hear back from him this morning.. I know he is totally freaked out by the whole experience.

Concert was so much fun, she puts on a great show.
Was happy to be there, we all had a blast. Sofi is huge, first time there.
DD and her friend had so much fun, and many memories made. They have an early flight back tomorrow, already know she and I will both cry. Did not have enough time together, but happy we got to see her.
Out to her in October for Parents Weekend, so will extend that a few days.
I will have to catch up on here, but if I have to pee while in the woods, absolutely will and have.

moms-dd already has signed up for pre-sale for Miami for the continuation of the Eras Tour in 2024, and there is a group of them currently in discussion on getting tickets. Ironically the code came through in her email while we were standing in line to get in yesterday.
Cannot imagine how she is touring for a full year and a half. She takes months off in between, but still very demanding schedule.

Was able to get a few more seeds, yay, and all the wacky prizes except for the piggy bank…is that what it is? Still have a few more days, so should be able to get it hopefully.
You can tell it’s back to school time. Last week I was out, medium traffic, nobody in the place I ordered my computer from. Today, traffic was crazy at 10am and the place was packed with people when I went to get my computer. I decided to set up an appt time on Monday and bring in my old tower so they can help me transfer fonts, photos and files I need. Hope this old one can hang on through the weekend.
gaga—Have you heard from your nephew in CT? Do you know how the pup is doing? That had to have been so scary. Happy your phone and internet are back up and working. It’s really not fun when that stuff isn’t working. I just looked up the Dalmadoodle. How cute!!! I bet they are great dogs with that mix. Stella is doing good. We had a class Monday night and another one last night, so she’s nice and tired today. Laid on the deck in the sun for a while late morning. Now she’s back inside napping in her chair in the bedroom. I think that Deluxe Day window is cute too.
sheba—Yes, it is so hard to pick out a computer now. So many choices. I had an idea of what I needed for work and then the guy in the store was really knowledgeable and helped me pick the right one.
cmpets—So glad you had an amazing time and made unforgettable memories at the concert! I don’t know how she does that grueling schedule either. That’s too funny your dd got the email for the miami show while in line to get in at Sofi. I’ve heard that stadium is so cool.
dee—Sound like you had a good day fishing the other day. I have also peed in the woods, but I much prefer not too. lol Back in the day when I would go camping with dh his sister and friends had to explain to me how to ‘cop-a-squat’ as they called. I always think a spider and something is going to bite me.
moms—I much prefer an indoor toilet as well. His and her separate toilets sounds amazing! Our old house had a little separate poo closet. It was nice that I could still be in the bathroom while dh was in the poo closet forever and ever. It’s pretty good now too…since it’s just us two, DH took over the hall bath and I have the main bath off the bed room all to myself! It’s awesome. Now when we travel to see family and we have to share a bathroom again, I’m like ugh. LOL
moms/sheba/cmpets—I hope you get to spend as much time as you can with your kiddos. I know that’s got to be so difficult to send them back out on their own.
