My Latest Pets ~ Webkinz Spotted Turtle
I thought that I would introduce my newest pets. As you all know, my kiddos and I love fun names! You recently met “Nomad” the Camel.
Thanks for your suggestions, ideas, and inspiration. The Chickadee name “Early Bird” just popped in my head in the car, so I was very excited to adopt her when I got home. She did not come with any new exclusives, but I am sure she “gets the worm” anyway!
I am waiting to adopt “Chilly” the Polar Bear until December for POTM. If you have any fun name ideas that you are willing to share, let us know!
*WI has announced the Webkinz Spotted Turtle. Cute! goes perfect with the spotted frog.

Gymbo- Fine, I’ve been trying not to fall into the rythym of a last year’s bad procrastination habbits. I’ve been spending time on school work and such. I guess I’m just bored with Webkinz right now- sad because I’m saving my money for DC and haven’t gotten any new Webbies. I haven’t talked to Moms in forever, you in forever. My great grandfather moved here last weekend s we were busy with that. I had my High School placement Test. We performed our routine at our second game our school won both! Got all A’s and 1 B *I could cringe* at that 😛 but I tried my best. I’ve been babysitting, tutoring, and trying to put myself out there more, aving some friend troubles and it’s been gettin me down. I have a virus and my throat and glands are a little swolen. I still went to school though.
So that is what I have been up too 😀

Sox I had a science teacher like that in high school. He was taking a computer class so he would just tell us to read our biology books and he would go in the room next door and work on the computer. Then he would give us standardized tests from the book but there was material in the teachers copy he was supposed to be going over on the test so no one knew the answers. They used a curve. I got an A on one test with 48% and the other kids were mad at me because I did too well on it. Most of them were in the 30’s.

i really hate him and he is dissorganized too. So my friend and i each handed in this lab. (my other firend saw us hand it in) he made us re-do the lab saying he siply could not find it. We re copyed it. I tried to hand it in. He started spreaming at my for standing up to give him my paper that he lost. Then he “found it” and gave it back! grrrr

Oh my goodness sounds like a real… Well I won’t say. Good luck and it is just past the first marking period.
I had a 6th grade math teacher who wouldn’t let the girls in the class touch the computer only the boys could use it. Plus he talked 90 miles a minute so you couldn’t understand him half the time. Fortunately I had a really good teacher the next year so I was able to learn the skills I didn’t understand the year before.

Fortunately the really bad ones are few and far between. Lots of just fine and a few really good. Good for you doing well in everything else. Maybe you could look online or the library for extra information on the topics you are covering. Or get one of those smart math students in your class to study with you.

Sox – I was in charge of students records and worked for the Education Dept.
You should talk to a guidance counselor or someone in the Education Dept. about your problem.
Be calm and explain your problem. Tell them you are not learning and how would they suggest you handle the problem. Also explain you get A’s in your other classes and you are interested in going to a top college and you are afraid how this will reflect on your permanent record.
Just a suggestion, but I think you need to express your concerns to the Education Dept.

I’m so entirely frustrated. 🙁 I cannot get the pants for the space suit no matter what. I’m beginning to believe I’m not meant to EVER find them. LOL! I’ve gotten more space helmets and belts than I can count, a couple shirts…… BUT NEVER PANTS! What is the deal? LOL! I got another belt just a minute ago and had to vent just a tad. Don’t mind me. 😛
