   Hi everyone! <3

   Popping in to see if the Marshmallow Collection event is missing for everyone or just me… Not really feeling good, but I reluctantly logged into Webkinz to try to send out marshmallows requests only to see it is not there on the Kinzville Map! I hope if it's an "everyone" thing it gets resolved quickly!!

   I am also a tad annoyed that I can't do the Peek-A-Newz on Webkinz Newz right now because the event page is just a blue screen and the "workaround" of using the Peek-A-Newz Challenge ad on the side of all the articles isn't possible because the June Peek-A-Newz ad is still there. I'll have to try to remember to check back and do my Webkinz Newz later if possible, but in all likeliness I will forget! Is it just me or is does it seem like the Webkinz Newz site is breaking down and the Webkinz team isn't even doing anything to fix it…? The blue screen thing has been going on for at least two weeks now hasn't it?

   I also get a "kick" out of how the new "Beanbag Bear" is clearly a rip-off of Beanie Babies! Not the first time they've done something like that… I do like the "90s nostalgia" of the accompanying theme–those triangles on the wallpaper remind me of the little paper plane in the opening sequence of Boy Meets World, which made me smile! 🙂

   Anyway, I think I should probably get to bed now…

   Hi. I am new here but I have visited many times. I joined because I wanted to give input and help to Otterkinz or anyone else who needs this.

   1- I am having problems with the Marshmallow Collection event not showing up on the Kinzville Map. It still isn’t fixed, I just checked. I hope they fix it soon.

   2- I was able to access the July Peek-A-Newz Challenge without any problems earlier, but then it wasn’t working when I went to check it after reading Otterkinz’s post. Weird! I did save the website link for it while it was working and it is still usable now! YAY! So I wanted to share it with all of you in case you need it (who knows when they will fix it) …

   Webkinz is down for update…as is NEXT. Must be loading the marshmallows !

   moms.. sorry you weren’t able to head up for ds play.. I know you must be very disappointed but happy you were able to have a good conversation last night.
   I guess lots of people traveling for holiday weekend.. air travel sounds like a nightmare !

   dee… Happy you and dh were each able to find something at the estate sale !
   Potato salad sounds so good ! I am looking forward to having a delicious cheeseburger tomorrow at family luncheon… Haven’t had a burger in forever
   Ghost gave out five gems earlier this morning before they went down.

   Otterkinz… Nice to see you ! Haven’t tried Peek a Newz in quite some time because prizes were not new … Hopefully they are fixing that too !

   Sheba… Happy that your daughter is able to spend some time with you and your dh.. she sounds like she is a big help and can assist you with straightening up and getting a few things organized while she is here.

   Air quality is much better here and am able to continue to do my walking !
   There has been nobody out last couple of days !
   Our priest is celebrating his retirement this weekend… after that we will have to share a priest with another parish… not sure how that will be effecting daily schedule but sad that there aren’t enough priests.

   April… Hope you and Stella are doing well.. has the smoke effected your area? Are you traveling for the holiday ?

    which is big bread cubes and tomatoes and cuke etc

    you could veggie it up and cut out all the pooh
    and make strawberries with cukes and feta etc

    moms… happy that you will be able to see your ds production ! Hopefully travel issues and hotel availability will be better !
    Love pretzel salad… one of my favorite desserts.. My sister makes it every Christmas and always make enough for take home.

    dee… the panzanella salad sounds really good too ! Will have to look it up but will wait until tomatoes are in season here… Hopefully soon… almost nothing better than homegrown tomatoes.

    Location changed for brunch today… Not the burger place… Brother chose a different place as his daughter is gluten free and menu not the best for restrictions… So will be missing just one sibling today as she is in throws of getting house ready to be put on the market ( recently downsized ) and have already moved in… Anxious to see and visit and I guess it’s not about the food anyway !

    friends are coming over today, so i put a bunch of boneless chicken lady parts in the crock pot with mexican seasoninngs & will have a bowl/taco bar

    then family is coming over on the 4th, so we are grilling hot dogs & hamburgers

    i seriously considered making the apple snickers DESSERT after we talked about it here, but i opted for eclair cake today & haven’t decided for sure tuesday – probably fruit pizza with blueberries & strawberries

    Hello all!

    Dh is napping and Stella is outside chilling on the deck. Still humid but the air quality is so much better today. Thought I’d pop in here and say hello.

    gaga—We stayed home for the 4th. Doing yard work in this humid weather, but at least the air is better. Friends coming over tomorrow. Hope you have a great time with your family at brunch.

    I love Strawberry pretzel salad! Snickers salad is so good too. Eclair cake sounds delicious. Now I want all of those. lol We made bbq chicken last night and today DH is smoking some ribs…yum. Made macaroni salad and will grill some corn on the cob. I think DH is grilling flank steak tomorrow when we have people over.

    I am so glad the Marshmallow Collection got fixed, but I basically didn’t get any marshmallows the first day because of the Webkinz team snoozing on the event! I admittedly don’t like these collection events even though they are very easy to do because in my experience, if you don’t send out your requests super early, you’re not going to get anything back! I appreciate the friends who help me out with these very much, though! <3

    Good Morning All !

    I had a really nice time visiting with family yesterday.. The location change was not necessary after all because my nieces did not order anything ! They had both eaten before they arrived.. Himself arrived still wearing a mask and said little during lunch… Sorry that one sister was not able to join us but hopefully next time..

    moms.. hope the weather cooperates for all of your outdoor plans ! Your menus sound delicious… Really miss grilling !
    Fourth will be quiet her but making a short to do list to keep me busy !
    Just finished a Nicholas Sparks book and will start a Colleen Hoover today.

    April… Your menus sound so good too ! My niece who is visiting from California brought her little dog with hear…Can’t imagine the airline allows it to sit on her lap… but Penny Lane goes wherever my niece goes !
    My brother who lost his chocolate lab recently is thinking about getting another dog… He just moved up from Georgia for the summer and wants to get settled first. His wife wants a long haired Dachshund so we’ll see.

    dee… Thanks for the link… Looks like the Mayor is offering a couple new prizes ! So far he’s done a pretty good job with Wheels and new items.

    Collection events are okay. I will probably only go around twice due to some travels and family events. I feel so bad when I can’t log in for my friends who are counting on me. But I guess we all understand about other things sometimes taking preference.

    Gaga – The name Penny Lane is so cute for a dog! Interesting about the nieces eating before arrival at restaurant. Are you concerned about nephew being so quiet? It doesn’t sound like he is himself.

    thankfully she gets that not everyone wants vegan food!
    the placed she picked for her grad dinner had both, so that worked well

    sheba, please tell us that you are NOT hosting the family reunion
    we shall see what i feel like for dessert. i really wanted a watermelon and kroger had them on sale even, but they were stinkin gigantor!!! we would eat maybe a quarter of it if we tried real hard……..
    and i am only gonna do one round for this. not a big fan, other than the fishing rack.
