   Good Morning !

   Thought I was getting there early for lab work this morning… opened at 7 and already four people there waiting at 703 !
   They were organized and was in and out fairly quick !
   Hope you catch up with himself sometime today to give him a hug and wish him a great trip… Seems like since he has become an ” adult ” he has no time or connection with his gaga ! Offered to take him to breakfast or lunch or lastly I asked about a ” drive by ” ! He chose the drive by…. so upsetting. I really need to get a grip.

   moms… never realized the upcoming pets were pictured In the Webkinz Picture Guide… thanks for the info ! the playful giraffe remained a mystery as far as PSI and PSF… didn’t pursue it.

   April… I had totally forgotten that the Pickleberry Cart was a Promo… I put the food you had sent me in a fridge !!
   Happy to hear that Stella is doing well and has returned to her happy self !
   Watched a bit of the NBA draft last night… Cavs had no pics in first round so I didn’t stay with it too long… Do you follow the Detroit Pistons ?? They had picked one of the Thompson twins ! Picked in succession….so much talent

   dee… Love the band America… I am lost in a time warp when it comes to music ! So regret not going to see John Denver and Simon and Garfunkel in concert when they were touring.. Was fortunate to see Harry Chapin shortly before he was killed in car accident… Love his Stories !! Have named a couple of my Webkinz after a few of his songs ! ( Mail Order Annie Mr. Tanner)

   Hopefully your weather will be cooling down soon !

   gaga – it’s hard loosening the grip on these kiddos moving into adulthood – i want them to know they can always come to me & want them to want to come to me, so i try to avoid being critical & just be supportive ♥ but they sure do take my heart with them on their new adventures ♥ ♥ ♥

    Good Morning All !

    dee… Hope you had a fun road trip ! So many great bands from that same genre ! Have enjoyed my new playlist for the car and rarely listen to Sirius radio
    anymore.

    moms.. I guess by ” getting a grip ” I was referring to me emotionally letting go !
    I was able to spend a few minutes during our drive by yesterday… He told me that he hates to drive and hates to fly… very anxious about upcoming trip today
    I am hopeful that once he gets there he will settle in and be ok. Should be a great experience for him and would be so fun if he actually found ” something” on the dig !

    Topazz… I know there are several here on the blog who have kids that are transitioning to adulthood… don’t know how you all do it ! So difficult..
    Have a couple of nephews who I remain close to who are young adults and married… and grown.. We have been able to maintain fairly close relationship
    meet for dinner… and chat by phone with one who lives in Connecticut… means so much to me.

    gaga – i was referring to me trying to get a grip on them growing up but also younger ds getting a grip that he has a lot to learn 😆 it’s so messy for everyone & a tough adjustment all around

    but i wouldn’t trade it for the world too . . . which i know you feel the same love for your family

    i delivered some groceries to my mother, so hopefully she won’t feel so isolated – they have a couple of residents with covid, so they are trying to keep everyone in their apartments for a few days to test & contain . . .

    Good Morning !

    Farmers Day !
    New week of NEXT challenges

    Himself set out on his adventure yesterday…. flight from CLE delayed and eventually cancelled due to weather in NY ! My sister went back early evening to pick him up…. Rebooked flight and connecting flights for today so we shall see how the day goes…Our weather is expected to get a little dicey later this afternoon so keeping fingers crossed that all goes well.

    moms… so sorry to hear that residents are being isolated in their rooms again because of Covid… Hopefully it will be for just a couple of days.
    Husband and wife of my brother’s travel mates to Paris were both diagnosed with Covid on Friday.. ( group arrived back on Thursday ) So far my brother and his wife are both ok as are the other couple…

    dee.. No plans for the 4th… should be quiet as usual these days… Cooking some ribs in the oven today and corn on the cob ! Made some pasta salad yesterday so that’s that ! Would love to be grilling but not worth the risk of having ” something ” setting up shop in my grill ! Hope you are heading out fishin !

    Peeking in! Still have some family here!

    Friday night menu – Ham, Crockpot Macaroni & Cheese, Green Beans, Salad, Rolls, Iced Tea, Brownies & Ice Cream
    Saturday – Breakfast Casserole made my dh. Muffins, Bagels, Yogurt, Cereal, Fruit, Coffee and/or Milk
    Lil’ Girl’s Birthday Party “2” – Lots of food there (cooked by d-i-l’s family). Leftovers for dinner
    Sunday – Everyone fixed their own breakfast. My grandson ate plain yogurt mixed with peanut butter. Never heard of that, but he seemed to love it.
    Leftovers for lunch.
    Dinner (to be served): Greek Chicken (with Potatoes), veggie (tbd), Salad and Ice Cream and cookies for dessert.

    I haven’t had time to collect berries….

    Sheba .. weekend menus sound great ! Loads of work I am sure…. but well worth all of your time and efforts ( dh too ) to have your family together !
    Think you still have time for berry catching…Not able to send you the berries but can send the prizes whatever you need !

    Travel nightmare is continuing.. Himself has been sitting and waiting in CLE airport once again today… Flight delay … Still having weather issues in NYC
    His window of opportunity to catch his connecting flight to Amsterdam is narrowing quickly.. Just waiting to hear from my sister…
