   moms.. nice memory of your dh’s grandfather ! Was he a sports fan ?
   Bostonians are usually die hard Red Sox / Patriots fans !
   I think himself was a bit humbled by the who car repair debacle. I try to help the kids now while I can instead of after I’m gone… not that I have much but would rather share when they are in need of something now. He really has worked hard and pays for what he can… I guess that’s what a gaga does ! ( LOL)

   dee… what time is dinner ? Sounds really delicious ! Wacky seems doable and will probably do the challenge on two main accounts just for the new prize ! Happy you were able to get Goo Goo berry and Polarberry Smoothie Carts !

   we had a massive thunderstorm around 2 am – the lightning & thunder were crazy, we got lots of heavy rain so not one of those long, slow rains that really helps . . .

   hello all!

   gaga—I’m so sorry about your friends chickens. That’s so sad. Oh miss Stella busted up her stitches again last night. It was our own fault. We were hanging outside after dinner with her and when we came in we didn’t get the donut collar back on right away. Went to grab it and came back to put it on and she had already busted them up again. Called the vet this morning. I told them how sorry I was and I promised I was a good pet parent. She laughed and said it happens all the time. Will be heading back there today or tomorrow whenever they can fit me in. Otherwise Stella is doing great. Completely back to her normal happy self. That stinks about your old car for himself. He’s so lucky to have an awesome gaga like you! I will have to check out the story about the two pitties on youtube later today. We finally got some much needed rain Saturday night into Sunday. Glad it’s headed your way. Oh, I love new mystery bags.

   moms—oh shoot, I missed the new lights. Hopefully they will be back soon. Your dh grandfather sounds so cute. Thanks for the berry info! I think I have some leftover on a couple of accts.

   dee—your chicken dinner for Tues. sounds wonderful. Stuffing is a fav. I bet your FIL loved you and all your yummy food.

   that donut was fantastic for Millie, but Humphrey is such a chewer, he somehow found a way to bite a hole in it & had to stick with the stupid cone 🙄 the cone is so annoying!

   where are her stitches – i think you said leg, but back or front??? i bought Millie little boy boxer briefs & put her tail through the slit in them while she healed & that really helped keep her from her surgical site, but i know humphrey would chew boxer briefs & all 😆

   Hi, everyone! Home today and trying to rest up from all the busyness! Turns out that I will need to pick up lil’ girl from school most afternoons this week.

   I totally forgot about the hot dog event. I think that I missed two or three days.

   And Dee….it wasn’t the cart that I was talking about. Ha ha! It was the cooler “fridge” that I don’t think is new that was listed as new.

   Not sure what I need yet, Gaga. Hopefully, I can get what I need in the next few days.

   and this gosh awful kitten chewed her spay stitches out within minutes of surgery, so they put some kind of glue on her………..

   looked funky as nothin til it healed up/wore off
   she was licking it like mad tho!
   that was back when she was tiny and cute……….fresh from the orphanage, with that new orphanage kitten smell! ha ha ha ha ha
   til we got home and she starting biting and scratching me
   ME!
   her rescuer/cuddler/kisser
   def a girl cat thing…………all of our boy cats have been lovers and listen to commands and calm (but not just pillows – they play)

    dee – our male kitten acts kind of like a puppy, following us around, nosy as can be, giving head butts & leg rubs, he stays close but not usually cuddling us, but baby girl is my cuddler – she is a world class snuggle bug with me

    Hello all,

    Vet appt. went well. They said her incision has healed enough that they didn’t want to try and restitch that end. They just tied it off. She might have a bit bigger scar on that end.

    moms—I never would have thought to try boys boxer briefs. That’s genius! The tail goes right out the hole. LOL Oh the cone is so annoying. Her incision is about 4 inches long and is right over her thigh muscle at her hip. The donut collar works perfectly for her, just like your Millie. We just keep taking it off to let her run around outside and play and then don’t get it back on fast enough when we come inside. She only chewed the first couple of stitches out, the rest stayed in tact thankfully.

    Sheba—Yes, she is. LOL Enjoy having lil girl this week. Hope you can get rested up too.

    dee—Nice to know it’s not just me. I’ve never heard of gluing it closed. Glad it worked for her when she was a kitten. “new orphanage kitten smell!” LOL Have fun fishing today!

    gaga—Thanks, and yay for pineapple lights. Will head over there soon to get some. Yes, just have to keep the donut collar on her for another week. I hope they fixed his car correctly too. So many don’t these days. Well, hopefully it was a good ‘adulting’ learning lesson for him. 🙂

    cmpets—Hope you are still enjoying AZ and your dd’s job search is going well.

    somehow i caught a pair of swim/scuba goggles
    scared the poo out of me when i brought it up…..i thought it might be a body part! sure hoping dh threw it away and is not gonna clean it up and keep it……he is like that sometimes with stuff.

    Early haircut and color this morning.. My hair seems to grow like a weed ! Will be happy to get it shaped up and some color..

    April … I am happy they didn’t need to restitch Stella’s wound again…The scar will just add to her charm ! Hopefully things will settle down and she will leave that area to heal. Hopefully your job is slowing down and you can enjoy the Summer !

    moms… Always a comforting feeling to know that there is a connection with your mom’s new NP ! Loved the picture of you dh in googles ! Made me chuckle ! I watched the news last night and looked like the weather was kind of ominous your way… Hopefully passed you by ! They also talked about the GA peach crop in jeopardy….I know that up here people line up to get their crates of peaches when they arrive from GA…

    Good morning! Happy Wednesday!

    Thank you all for the well wishes! I seem to be snapping back to my old self. The medicine I have to take to remove estrogen makes me thirsty all the time, but that is pretty much the only symptom. This week, I have a bit of a cold/sinus issue way back in my head … my nose is clear, but lots of drainage and a bit of dizziness from the pressure on my ear. Never had one quite like this before. Doctor said to do over-the-counter Zyrtec and allergy nasal spray until it’s been 7 days. If it’s not cleared up by then, she’ll give me something for an infection. We’ll see … no pain, so it’s not all that bad.

    I enjoy hearing all of the pet stories. I always wanted a pet, but allergies kept us from adopting one. And I really did have my hands full with kids most of the time anyway!

    I love having the house full … although I wish I could light a fire under them for looking for a job. They are beginning, but seemingly half-hearted. I think we’ve made the house a bit too comfortable, and working all day vs. playing video games in the basement all day is a difficult decision for them. LOL! It’s hard for me to understand, because I couldn’t wait to go to work when I was younger. We are pushing them a bit, and there are plenty of opportunities, so they’ll end up with something … just taking longer to get going than I would like. 🙂

    I love working at the school in the summer. The halls are quiet, and the few of us that are in the building work quietly on catching up all the things we wish we could have done during the school year. I am cleaning out and sorting through the closet and library, and I always enjoy a good organizing project. 🙂

    i know exactly what you mean about kids getting too comfortable, we had to lay down the law somewhat because ds has an online class that has big time consuming assignments for every single day monday-friday – we’ve never seen such a thing – wondering if it’s a young eager professor LOL

    anyway, a job would be especially hard to balance, but we felt like he had to do something to contribute, so we made a list of household duties for him – i made a spreadsheet so he can check it off & no one (dh) has to micromanage or annoy me by asking

    glad you are feeling okay from treatments, but sorry about the sinus/congestion – i get that, it sounds silly, but what usually helps me is to drop a little peroxide in my ear, lie down with that ear up for 5 minutes, then drain it into the sink & repeat on the other ear. i think since i had sinus surgery a few years ago & they drain so well, my ears get congested more now that my sinuses 😆

    Good evening, all!

    I had lil’ girl for more hours today! She is so much fun! She is speaking in sentences. “I need Goldfish.” “I want milk.” “I need help.” “More, please.” My dh took her on a wagon ride so that I could make dinner.

    Dee – I made: Meat loaf, roasted petite red potatoes seasoned with herbs & garlic, corn on the cob (she actually helped me clean the corn) before she went with grandpa.

    Gaga – Baby twin girl is doing well. She smiled at her daddy (my oldest son) last week. She is smaller, though, than my newest little grandbaby by a pound. Next week they will all be here including my dd from Spain. So… I have a lot to do to get ready.

    Moms & Miracle – I remember those days of guidelines with the young people hanging out at home. That chart sounds like a good idea, Moms! Nobody wants to be the nagging type.

    April = Enjoyed hearing about Stella and how she is on the mend.

    Got a kick out of the Moms’ minion pic and Dee’s stories.

    Missed the flash sale, but I got the next code. And yes, slag is rare on my account that I have an advanced miner pet. I try to use a pet that doesn’t have any mining skills, but I always seem to get gems. Haven’t gotten a rare one yet, though.
