   Sheba.. Congratulations on the arrival of your newest granddaughter ! I know how thrilled you must be and how nice it is that you will be spending the next couple of weeks to help out the new family !

   dee… Sounds like your kitty has some gymnastic talent ! ( LOL )

   cmpets… Hopefully your dd will find a great job opportunity soon.. sounds like she has a plan in place until she finds what she is looking for.

   April.. I was out yesterday for a walk and was so happy to see the Golden lumbering up to get a treat ! I gave him two ! ( with permission )
   Owner said that her brother came up for the holiday weekend and they were out and about visiting different parts of the city… So happy to see ” my pup ”
   Met another new dog yesterday who pulled out with her owner on a three wheeled motorcycle… She travels in a carrier and recently went all the way to Amish country on the motorcycle !! I also learned that she can detect drastic changes in her owners blood sugar and can alert her ! ( by smelling ketones )
   Her name is Lola… offered her a treat but she turned her nose up at it !!
   I guess she is kind of bougie ! ( LOL ) And to think that I saw them on Mulberry Street !!

    Good Morning All !

    Happy Friday !

    dee.. chicken pot pie recipe looks really good !
    Hung my hummingbird feeder this week… no luck yet ! Do you make your own nectar ? Trying already made nectar as I did not have much luck last year with making my own…. Seems like my Orioles have disappeared too ! What the heck is going on ?

    moms… checked the score this morning … not surprised from what I am hearing…. I also heard that there have been twelve horses die at Churchill Downs and they are investigating and considering closing the track until they can figure it out… very sad.. such beautiful animals.. all young. I hope they can figure it out soon.

    Sheba… Hopefully you can collect all the slag you need to complete that portion of the challenge ! Hate that the Return your baby from Day Care is part of the Challenge again !

    April… Hope you and Stella are enjoying this beautiful weather… but we are in need of some rain and not in sight for upcoming forecast !

    Hello all!

    gaga—I am so relieved to hear you saw your golden pup and he’s okay!! I’ve been thinking about him. That is hilarious about the bougie Chihuahua you met on Mulberry street. 🙂 It’s hot here the next few days and we need some rain. I let Stella out early in the morning and she suns herself on the top deck step for about 30 minutes while it’s not to hot. She’s like a little queen surveying her land. LOL I love the stormy boxes too. I have a couple more to open. I have extra bean bag chair and rug if you or anyone needs one.

    sheba—Congratulations!! Wonderful news, hope everything is going well with the new baby and your dd. I finally got the last piece of slag yesterday. Hope you get the last few pieces you need.

    dee—Sounds like you have a daredevil kitten. 🙂

    moms—Thanks for the calendar post. Helps keeping up with everything. I need some asparagus too…frustrating.

    cmpets—I hope your dd hears from some of the places she applied and gets one she really likes.

    found a lovely cantelope and it is done……..i like it ball shaped…..one of my grandmas did it that way………looks pretty and bite sized!
    had sent grandcat a package via fedex and it finally arrived after much haboo
    not saying right now………..they sent me a how was your experience survey and i am waiting until tomorrow to tell them………..because i am being kind

    i went over to my mom’s this morning & hung out with her for a few hours, hung up some signs to invite everyone to celebrate her birthday with us this weekend 🙂

    now i have showered, put on my pjs, & am settling in to log in & watch onpatrol – ahhhhhhh on patrol take me away! (anyone remember the calgon commercials????)

    moms.. Happy Birthday to your mom ! Sounds like you are planning a birthday bash at the facility ! Have a great time ! Yes… I do remember Calgon… take me away ! ( LOL )
    Hearing that they shut down racing at Churchill Downs until at least July.
    They need to figure out what is going on and why there are so many horses dying/or needing to be euthanized.

    dee… had not heard of kaleo.. Looked them up but still need to listen to their music.

    April… Thanks for the stormy box items.. I am all set ! Two new dispensers at the e store debating on which one to get… offer is good until the 8th.

    Sheba… sorry about the lack of sleep due to the new arrival ! Sounds like she is keeping all of you busy !
