have been having a time finding the bone in ones
talked to my kroger butcher and they no longer order them. during pandemic everyone wanted boneless and the bone in were not selling enough. so none local
we went to walmart earlier today and they had none either (but i did not talk to a meat person there)
so hoping that the base commissary still carries them and i will just freeze and repack
crazy!
they are so good for soups and stews and crockpots and with dumplings and grilled or roasted etc etc etc

Will be anxious to hear if you see any nature on your fishing trip ! Since you have mentioned the bone in lady parts …my grocery store has not carried them for quite some time.
They don’t even offer boneless lady parts with the skin on…. I have taken to use chicken thighs when I made soup… but don’t eat dark meat .
moms.. Hope you are feeling better today ! Your banter with dee always is quite entertaining ! April… Hopefully your work schedule is slowing down.. Time to enjoy the warm weather and some sunshine ! Weather here has been beautiful.. but I hate to say it but we could use a little rain ! Himself has taken to call me my given name and has dropped the gagagee ! I know he refers to so many things these days as ” adulting” but have treasured my ” gaga” name and not ready to give it up ! I have been ” gee” since his mother was two ! and the gaga was added when I became herself’s Godmother… so not giving it up without some discussion… ( have recently designed my headstone and included the endearing name gagagee ! Enough said.

gaga—Yeah, that’s how we lost my boy Diesel. It all happened so fast. One day he was making this weird huffing noise (coughing) and two days later we were being told there was nothing they could do. It was devastating. I really hope you get to see the golden again and he’s doing okay. Fingers crossed work should slow down a little. Glad you had a great day celebrating with your family. That’s so hard when the kiddos grow up. You are gaga to all of us here! 🙂 I put my aunts nick name on her gravestone too. Nobody called her by her given name either. Wouldn’t have felt right not to put it on there. We are having beautiful weather here too…and we are in the same boat…could use some rain.
dee—Same thing here. I can never find bone-in chicken lady parts. If I do happen to see them, there are only 2 or 3 packs and I buy them all and freeze them.

April.. So sad .. Didn’t realize that was Diesel’s problem.. no time to prepare (not that it is really possible ) Have been walking twice a day… no Golden the past three days… I am getting really worried. I am hoping that maybe she is away for the long weekend. I think that is so nice that you put your aunts’ nickname on her gravestone !

I got another fun in the sun suit, so that makes 3. Good thing these are free boxes. This is why I limit my mystery box purchases, I don’t see to have the best luck.
Hopefully everyone else got something good.
Can’t believe tomorrow is June. dd is packing up her apartment. She leaves for TN tomorrow. Has not heard back from any of the places she applied, even after her interview, so she is planning to stay with her friend and hopefully will get a job at a local coffee shop to just work for the Summer. She will be in Nashville Saturday for a sports networking thing at the stadium, really hoping she gets something out of that since we have to pay for it., plus the 4 hr drive back and forth.
Been up since 3am, going to be a long day.

Glad yu are feeling better. I do not like being sick in Summer, it just feels all wrong.
dd will be in Knoxville. She drives there tomorrow, then will just drive to and from Nashville on Saturday. They had one in Atlanta too, but it was this past weekend, and she was packing. Plus you get a Titans ticket with this one, although it’s for a December game, so unless we are there, she may have to give it away.
I will send the fun suit over later. I really should focus and goo look at jobs. It’s so nice here today (high is only 86) so I have been procrastinating and did pop onto my ww accounts briefly this morning.
We had another funny thing at this Airbnb, really thinking I should have been blogging this adventure.
