   tummy feels a little less rolly this morning, i’ll try some electrolyte water & see how that goes . . . it made me sloshy yuck yesterday, but i’m dry & need some hydration

   i have made homemade chicken soup
   not as fantastic as i had hoped
   maybe if someone else made it when you needed it

   mine is just meh

   now that stinkin lasagna soup! yum yum yum yum yum
   i need to do a freezer recon……….see what we have on hand. I am supposed to go see an oral surgeon (we all know what that means)…………so i need to make sure i have food to eat afterwards…………ideas? I need a bit, as am not sure if i am gonna want to go grocery shop etc

    Hey, all! I had a relaxing morning catching up with all the texts and e-mails that I ignored on Monday. That is usually not my style, but it has been a different kind of week.

    Lil’ girl here this afternoon & evening. She is a doll!

    Now…time to catch up on some trouble….Tulip trouble! LOL!

    And I haven’t gone to the Farmer’s Market yet.

    Moms – glad the tummy is a little less roly-poly….

    As far as oral surgery goes, I remember being a bit miserable for awhile and eating only soft foods, such as applesauce, jello, broth, mashed potatoes, milk shakes. I think I may have even tried meat loaf after several days, but the smoother the food the better.

    Good Morning !

    A bit of an off day yesterday… Thanks moms and dee for your care and concern. ( Hearts ! ) seems like I get more care and concern here than from my other family.

    moms… I did watch the finale of A million little things and I have to say that I was a bit disappointed but I thought they did a good job of wrapping up all the loose story lines. I also liked that they fast forward to Javier as he celebrated his 16th birthday… and loved that Maggie had a new dog. Just sorry that the show will not be returning.
    Hope you are feeling better today !

    dee.. It is truly nice to be missed.. thank you… Sorry to hear that you are needing the services of an oral surgeon. Never a fun experience but moms have some good dietary suggestions. New NEXT does not start until tomorrow.

    Sheba … Hope you enjoyed your visit with your lil girl ! Hope you are able to have some time for some R&R this weekend.

    Derby Day tomorrow…Graduation Day on Sunday ! Still trying to work out all those details. Himself wants no fanfare…I am hearing through the grapevine that after results of his last final was posted…. He will be graduating Summa Cum Laude…. Probably mentioned that already but I am just so proud of that kid… I will definitely bring a box of Kleenex as I am sure I will need it ! (LOL)
    It doesn’t matter what title he gets… he has worked hard and studied hard and although it wasn’t where he wanted to be… he has gotten a good education and met and made some amazing friendships along the way. I don’t think he has any regrets about being an OSU Alumnus !

    ds & 2 of his friends arrived last night, 1 of younger ds’s best friends is back for the summer – my house is full of loud young people – YAY!!!! they are going to exhaust me, but it’s the best kind of exhausted reminds me of why we decided not to downsize though – so thankful to have a place where they want to hang out ♥

    do i admit to dee that sometimes nothing is better than a can of campbells chicken & stars . . . that will get you through whatever ails you LOL – sorry not sorry

    gaga – i know you are so proud of his success! hopefully he is over not getting into his first choice school & feels like he landed right where he was supposed to be. i thought the 2nd to last episode was better than the last one, but the moment with Gary’s dog tore me to pieces . . . yep, they wrapped it up & didn’t leave us wondering

    qos – the meatloaf comment reminded me that ds started eating salmon after a few days – it is soft enough, filling, and easy on his mouth too

    We are hoping to visit lil’ baby girl and the lil’ grandson tomorrow. Did I tell you that she was released from the NICU? Yep! She is home with her family now!

    Moms – How nice to have a full house again! Yep! It is a lot of work, but fun all the same! ♥

    And there is nothing wrong with a can of chicken & stars! It amazed me this week how perfect chicken broth was for me as I was on a liquid diet on Monday & Tuesday (colonoscopy on Tues). I also had some vegetable broth on hand if I had needed more “to eat.”

    otherwise, we are mostly in the car and comfort rules on two day road trips!

    not sure what if any channel will broadcast the coronation. I did not realize that King Charles III is that old! maybe cuz his kids seem young
