   Good Morning All !

   Sheba.. Despite never having met any of you in person I feel like I know you guys… Over the years we have shared so many things both in WW and our RL
   I have been able to cope with difficult times in my life with the support and love that I have found here. It is our turn to help and support you through this devastating event in your life. ( hearts and hugs to you )

   moms… I still have one more Mystery box to open… Thanks for your offer but I’m good… Hoping to get the Purple Blooms Hill… and if I don’t then oh well ! ( LOL ).. I hope you had a nice visit with your mom yesterday.
   With upcoming anniversary of my moms’ passing… we are all remembering some of the funny things she said or did… I remember himself calling her to say hi and I guess she didn’t realize it was him… She actually yelled into the phone… ” Are you Crazy ? ” before slamming the phone down ! I had a t shirt made which said just that with an old lady talking on the phone ! Our Sunday group each received one and occasionally wore them as a group to bring some humor to the day ! I think it has become one of himself’s favorite memories. We all have so many…

   dee… have fun on your outing this morning… Hope you find some more treasures ! Is that the book that the movie Tom Hanks is in ?

   Good Morning

   dee- Hope you find something good. I do like the chicken planter, not nearly as bad as I expected it to be. Also forgot to say congrats on your lucky scratcher, that makes for a good day/week. I will add that book to my queue to read. Need to get back in that habit. Happy early Anniversary in case I forget.

   gaga- I love that you had that made into a t-shirt. Some of the best memories pf our past and our loved ones do come from unexpected moments.

   moms- Thanks for always keeping us up to date here on the blog. It is appreciated. Missed your reminder, but I am sure some caught it, so always helpful to have a place to find information.

   qos- Sending an extra hug today just because.

   We are off to Charleston tomorrow for the day. Excited to explore a new area. We will go to Hilton Head in a couple of weeks when dd drives up for our last visit until she finishes school and figures out what she is doing for the Summer. She has applied for several internships, but so far nothing.

   Once we leave here, we will head to Arizona and park ourselves there for a bit. MIL is looking into communities there, and more than likely will move in the next year or two. We like the central area, so will look at places for her and us as well.

   Florida would have been a good option, but if we have no interest in a place there, no sense in her being so far.

   Okay off to try and be productive today.

   Cmpets – I’m not sure that I’ve ever explored Charleston. Have fun! When it comes to a place to live it sounds like you are a diehard west to mid-west gal! The one time I was in Arizona (to visit my cousin) the heat was unbearable to me! I would definitely want a pool if I lived there! Thanks for the hug!

   Yesterday I went to a consignment sale and bought lots of newborn clothes for my new granddaughter. And one cool fire engine shirt for my 21 month old grandson who loves fire engines! And a few clothes for my dd’s baby coming in about 2 1/2 months. Oh, and one cute oufit for lil’ girl who you all have heard so much about.

   My dh is going to the funeral tonight of a dear friend. I decided not to travel with him for various reasons. I hope that I don’t regret it, but I am preparing for my oldest dd’s baby shower and have a lot to do before we go this weekend. He is at peace with me not going, but I still feel a bit sorry that I can’t make it a priority.

   Well…as much as I want to play Webkinz….I need to keep my laundry going! LOL! And wrap gifts…..and plan lessons…and clean house????….LOL! It really needs a good cleaning!

   Sheba—I am so sorry for your loss. My heart is breaking for you and your family. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. <3 Please don't feel bad about not going tonight. You have a lot on your plate and you need to take care and do what is best for you and your family right now.

   gaga—Yes, the shower is all done! So happy to have that taken care of. No injuries to my face yet with the phone. 🙂 We had to look up FNU as well. March madness always seems to have those crazy upset wins. I will have to check out Timmy the sheep story. I had to do a double take at what your CT nephew thinks his dogs are…Labahoulas, I've never heard of that. It sounds like a cross between a Lab and Hooligan. LOL 🙂 They sound like fun sweet doggies. That is so fun you made a t-shirt about one of your moms funny moments and can share and laugh with your family. Those are special memories. The sun is out and it's in the low 40s. Spring is here. My tulips are starting to come up, they make me happy.

   moms—I think that's why I hate missing farmer's day so much. You miss one day and it messes up your garden and you don't have enough of one or two kinds of plants. I hope your friends labor went well and all is good. So thankful for this group of people too. <3

   dee—Love the chicken! 🙂 I wish they would have a extra sale on seeds too once in a while. Whoo hooo, congrats on the scratcher win!

   my mom changed her mind again & wants to wait & go back to the new stylist i had already found for her – she’s a bit of a roller coaster about things – i think it’s part of her memory/aging stuff that she just fixates on things then changes her mind because it does seem to be getting worse

   i’m going to see ds this weekend & can’t decide if i want to take my laptop – going to check the webkinz calendar but it’s kind of nice traveling without it . . .

    My nephew’s pup’s are Labrador/Catahoula mix. Full of so much energy but they love them !

    I saw the movie “A Man Called Otto” that I think is based off of that book. My dh and I really enjoyed it.

    Onions in NEXT only going for 14 KC each….and I have hundreds. Usually don’t sell them because I can get a better deal on other produce.

    Finally Friday… although I guess when one is retired it really doesn’t matter what day it is ! All the same ( LOL )

    I noticed the seeds did not seem to growing but thought it may be
    because they were new… Hope they fix the glitch !
    Very sorry to hear that you mom seems to be declining a bit… Hard to go through and see the changes.. She sounds like a tough lady and keeps you busy!

    dee… thanks for the links.. seems like some old prizes for the eggs but hopefully new ones won’t be too difficult to get ! I also noticed that the gems from the ghost don’t seemed to be added to total ! Will have to be more attuned to numbers. Happy you found something at the estate sale

    April… I gave you the wrong initials for the university… Farleigh Dickinson University… unfortunately they lost and are no longer the Cinderella story..
    feel badly for them… Xavier and Gonzaga still in the running…
    My nephew’s pups are a mix of Labrador and Catahoula Hound.. thus the Labahoula… but you aren’t far off with Hooligan.. The female is quite a handful unlike her brother ! A fence was installed this week and he sent me a video of the pups racing in their new play area ! They love it…. and it tires them out.
    Always nice to see the flowers beginning to pop out of the ground…Sure sign of what’s to come. Just wish it would warm up a little .

    Sheba.. sounds like to founds some nice things for your grandkids at the consignment shop ! I am sure they will be appreciated…
    I am glad you are at peace with not travelling to dh’s friends funeral.. Gives you some time to catch up and prepare for upcoming events and commitments .

    gaga—I had to laugh. At first I thought FNU was Furman. I think they beat Virginia. And dh kept referring to Farleigh Dickinson as just Dickinson. LOL I think I’m up on the teams now. I always feel bad for the team that losses in those big tournaments. They had quite a run. Ahhh Lab/Catahoula mix makes more sense. Although I still like the Hooligan mix. lol I bet they love the new fence. Always good when you can tire the pups out! Ugh, I love the deer, but they are demolishing my front yard. They’ve eaten all the tulip leaves starting to come up. They did this last year too and it turned out okay, they didn’t get the flower bud so they still came up. Now they are eating the front bushes. Going to the store to get some Irish Spring soap and cut it up and sprinkle it around. I hate chasing them away, but they are doing some major landscaping damage.

    moms—I’m sorry your mom is declining a bit. I know it’s really difficult. Hopefully you can roll with the changes as best you can. You’re in my thoughts and prayers too. My mini eggs aren’t growing either. Good to know it’s not just me. I have one in an indoor room and one in an outdoor room and nothing for either. Have fun seeing your ds this weekend!

    sheba—I have a lot of onions too. They always have a better deal on other produce. I have tons of laundry to do this weekend. Probably get a jump on it this afternoon.

    Moms – It was gray here today when I looked out this morning! The sun has peeped out by now. But definitely cooler temps from yesterdays nice weather!

    April, I know what you mean about the deer. We have the same issue. We only plant deer resistant plants and I think that my husband peppers the landscape with pepper!

    Gaga – I went back to the consignment shop for one dress for lil’ girl. I was feeling badly about not buying anything for her. But somehow I came home with a bagful of clothes including some cute little Anna boots (from Frozen movie) that she will need to grow into! The boots will go into the dress-up box. I also got some outfits for my lil’ grandson….he is about 3 weeks older than lil’ girl. So maybe I should call him lil’ boy! 😉 I also found a few puzzles and get this….some things for me for crafting….and some American Girl doll books for my classes….everything was 1/2 off today.

    Dee – thanks for the links about the Easter/spring stuff. Not crazy about the hat, but maybe it will be cuter than I think!

    Your comment about the hoolicat made me laugh ! ( as did moms ) Seems like there are quite a few Hoolipets on the blog !
    I asked himself if he tried haggis and he said he had not and it sounded disgusting… however one of the other kids was brave enough and said it was delicious !

    April… So nice for you to have had a day off yesterday ! Sounds like you had lots to do and places to go. I didn’t realize that Irish Spring soap is a deterrent for deer. They had culling here a couple times of year to thin out the herds… always hate to hear about it but I guess I get the overpopulation and the alternative of their starving… They are such a beautiful animal..
    Haven’t checked on who is playing today but will be looking for Gonzaga and Xavier.

    Sheba… The little frozen boots sound really cute for your lil girl ! I have been is search of Frozen items for the gal who works in the cafeteria as her birthday is coming up and she is so that whole theme.. Her mom recently took her to the play and that is all she talk about right now ( besides her birthday ! ) She calls and texts me several times a day to remind me !

    I am hearing reports of severe wind warning being posted for today.. They are going so far as to prohibit trucks and RV’s from entering the turnpike..
    I am going to try and get some errands done early and then batten down the hatches !
    I did get another call last night from himself… Still really chatty about his trip and how he is trying to catch up with work and school studies. He has decided to push back his visit home by another week as he has much to do.

    Miracle You doing OK ? Hopefully things are going well and you are nearing completion of your treatments. ( hearts )

    Seeds continue to be the same and not growing ! Hope they are working on fixing that glitch !

    Good morning! Happy Saturday!

    Thank you all sooo much for the well wishes and prayers. 🙂 Radiation finished as of last Tuesday, huge deadline finished the same day, whirlwind rest of the week trying to catch up on all the things I pushed off to finish. But today is almost completely blank, and I am so grateful to be able to catch up at home! It is gray and rainy, but that gives me an excuse to stay at home and clean, read, sleep, binge, etc., whatever I want. I need to start hormone therapy next week (taking a pill for the next 5 years) and not looking forward to that, as I hear it takes a while to find the prescription that is right for you, but it’s the last leg of the journey, so I’ll keep going. 🙂 Glad to be mostly on the other side.

    Sheba, I read your post a few days ago and blinked back tears … as a mom of twins, that hit so hard, and I’ve been thinking about you all ever since. My heart breaks for them and you. I’m so sorry. 🙁 I have to echo gaga’s comment about how we all feel like we know each other because we’ve shared so much over the years, and it has helped through difficult times. You all will be in my prayers.

    I haven’t read the book or watched the movie, dee, but I just added the ebook to my “holds” list from the library. Must be popular because they estimate a 10-week wait. By that time, I’ll have completely forgotten why I reserved it. 🙂 But I found one of his other books, so I might read that one first to become familiar with the author.

    I finally got seeds on the WOW, so mine aren’t growing yet either, but I just planted them this morning so … 🙂
