   Morning All !

   Like a snow globe here this morning ! I guess winter is going out like a lion.
   Thankfully don’t really have to go out today.
   Farmers Day today ! No ghost yet ..I was able to unlock two locks and was given the cannon !

   Hearing that six kids on the London trip were bumped off the plane this morning… ( 20 kids on the trip ) .. Not sure yet if himself is on or off the flight but it has departed. My sister waiting to hear from school liaison as to his status…

   Miracle… Nice to hear how you are doing ! So glad that there is light at the end of your treatments with 2 more to go ! Hopefully you can complete your project and take some time to relax and take care of yourself.. You sound a really tough lady ! We are all here for you and wish you well. ( hearts )

   cmpets… Sounds like quite a St Paddy’s Day celebration at your location !
   Hope you had a great time enjoyed the Irish music and the Irish dancers !
   The bagpipers always bring tears to my eyes. What is the significance of the Bonaventure Cemetery ? Will have to look it up… Is there someone famous buried there ?

   April… Happy your plumbing project is just about completed…Hopefully the plumber will be back tomorrow to finish up.
   Your comment about falling asleep while finishing up NEXT made me chuckle.
   I hope you didn’t injure yourself with the phone.
   I am still trying to find a good site to look up all the Cadbury nominees.
   I did see on our local news that the one eared rabbit is from CLE but rescued from Columbus… I am sure each of the nominees have a great story and would be deserving of the prize money ! ( not to mention the notoriety )
   What a great day to be born on Saint Patrick’s Day ! Nice that you were able to talk to your niece on the phone ! You are so right about the time going so quickly .
   I guess the basketball news of the day yesterday was the win by FNU vs Purdue ! I had to look up FNU as I had never heard of them… Story related that they are the smallest team in NCAA who went up against number 1 ranked team Perdue… who has the kid who is 7’4 …. Just goes to show the kids that it can be done…

   dee… The chicken sounds like quite a find ! I am sure we would all like to see her picture… I think years back there a a cement goose that was popular
   and was sold with different outfits to dress it in !

   moms… Glad you had a nice time at the birthday party ! What kind of cake did they serve ? I had a taste for my favorite cake yesterday so I drove the hour to get one… Now trying to figure out who to share it with…Wish I could send you all a piece of it !

   I was able to get the seeds on one of my main account which is Deluxe so I guess my theory is wrong !

   Looking forward to Spring tomorrow !

   i don’t know what kind of cake it was, but that was my least favorite part of the meal surprisingly – i only had a small taste of it! i have a real sweet tooth, but they also put these little fruit platters on each table, so i ate some pineapple, raspberries, blueberries, & strawberries – i might have been full from the hors d’oeurves & halibut mmmm

   it was like a very nice wedding reception – very nice/upscale, but not stuffy – after dinner they had a stand up comedian then a full band with dancing

    Good Morning !
    First day of Spring arrives today – with it some warm sunny weather..soon.

    dee… I think your chick plantar is cute ! Will look nice with some plants in it !
    I am sure you will a great place to put her so you can think of moms each time you look at it !
    No ghost yesterday but saw it this morning !

    moms.. the birthday party sounds very elaborate… Must have been a milestone year for whoever’s birthday it was… Wish you could have joined me for a piece of cake here… Ended up freezing it… not sure how that’s going to work… Have been waiting to hear from sweet bro… Have some goodies for him in the freezer but he has been busy with life I guess ! ( LOL )… and a new lady friend.

    It is reported that himself arrived safely home late last night … hopefully full of stories of his adventures in London/Scotland…

    made chicken lady parts stuffed with olives, sundried tomatoes and feta with balsamic………old tried and true recipe……..steamed some brocc and i am having wild rice…………..YUM
    dh will have po salad before i pitch it or figure something out. he is a big boy.
    sadly his go to sides are in a box or a freezer pack………..oh well
    ya can lead a horse to water

    saw a cover up at kohls that would work……….not the blue i want, but a very pretty green…………would that work with black and white dress?

    and yes i am obsessing over this………..never go anywhere to get gussied up and this is important to me that we do not look hillbillies.

    Good Morning Everyone !
    Farmers Day

    dee.. I totally know where you are coming from.. I have worn a uniform since the first grade and scrubs my working life.. The occasions I need to ” dress up ” can be anxiety filled… You have your dress which is most important… you probably have a little more time… try the green on with your dress… you can always take it or send it back…you may really like it ! Let moms help you.. It will be smashing ! I know you want to look all put together… BUT at the end of the day you will be the proudest mom at graduation and it won’t matter . Your dd will be so thankful and proud that she has had YOU and your dh to share her life’s journey through all of her accomplishments and bumps in the road.
    I had to look up what the heck a haggis is ! ( LOL ) I can pretty much say with 100 % certainty that he did try have it ! I did inquire about the food in UK and the only thing he mentioned was that he got plenty to eat ..but didn’t want to spend the money to ” eat out ” which I am thinking he ate a lot of junk food.

    moms.. I too am planning on going for himself’s graduation… Thankfully I have a dress which I bought last summer for a wedding so I’m just going to wear it. Hopefully I’m all set.
    I did get a call yesterday afternoon from himself… He talked for almost an hour about his travels… Sounds like he had a great time and mentioned that someday he would like to return to one of the museums in Edinburgh . I think it was the National Museum of Scotland. He didn’t have any good things say about London or its people. I guess I need to ask him about haggis and the tattoo parlor ! ( my sister asked me if he had told me about it ) which he did not mention ! He is planning on coming home in two weeks for the weekend and hope to catch up then and get all of his stories.
    Does your ds have one more year ?

    Too late to vote for Cadbury Rescue Pet Contest but I am pulling for Timmy the sheep… What a great story he has ! The lady who rescued him was told by four different vets that Timmy should be euthanized as he would never be able to walk due to birth defect… You guessed it… the story is so heartwarming and worth googling..
    My CT nephew is now calling his two rescue pups Labahoulas since having their DNA tested…. whatever they are … they are adorable and full of energy and such different personalities despite being litter mates.

    Weather here today… warmer.. low 50’s for first full day of Spring !

    Hello everyone! It’s probably quiet on here because I have been away for longer than usual.

    Just to update everyone….my son & his wife had twins this weekend (several weeks early), but one of them did not make it. Not able to go into many details, but we were able to visit and spend time together. We rejoiced in the births, and comforted each other with the loss of the one precious babe. It has been difficult. Thoughts and prayers appreciated.

    That said, I haven’t really kept up with Webkinz. Or with Dee’s chickens. 😉

    Gaga – glad that you got to connect with himself and hear about his trip.

    Moms – I agree with you about this being a supportive community! ♥

    Sheba… So sorry for the loss of one of the twins. I can’t imagine how difficult it would be to go through the loss of a baby who was anticipated and planned for.

    dee – that book is so dear to me – i like all of his books – Fredrik Backman – started reading him after i read that one & have read it all now – love the character of ove, the book, the author – i laughed & cried throughout too

    it reminds me so so much of dh’s grandfather that i cared for ♥

    the movie actually did do the book justice, i feel like – maybe because the movie came out years after i read the book so they had some distance, but i loved the movie – i cried throughout the whole movie though because of having read the book & grandpa ♥
