Holiday Bake Sale 12/12-23
The Holiday Bake Sale runs December 12 until midnight, December 23, on Webkinz Classic. During this event, look for the floating gift box and click on it to earn a baked good (limited to 2 a day for free players, 3 for full, and 4 for Deluxe). These are not new items or recipes, but they are good items to make for room decorating.
There are five baked goods to collect. Combine baked goods on a stove to make holiday themed prizes for your pets. You can use the Holiday Bake Sale Cookbook to learn each recipe. The cookbook will be added to your Dock the first time you log in to your Webkinz Classic account during the event. It’s also available in the Fun Stuff > Books section of the WShop.
There are ten different prizes you can make with your baked goods. And, you will still be able to make the Holiday Bake Sale recipes once the event ends. Here’s a reminder of what you can make with your holiday bake sale items:

Good Morning !
New Day…
I had great time at lunch yesterday ! So nice to visit with my niece and rest of the gang… Hoping each of us in our own way “gets” the importance of family and sticking together… Wish my Georgia brother had been there.
My youngest sister texted me this morning about a song she had just heard on Sirius… Runaway to Mars…by Talk… Made me cry.
dee.. decided not to attempt to type post from yesterday after second try…not to newsy anyway… New NEXT Season Challenge does not start until tomorrow.
moms.. I have seen and heard rupaul..
but never watched his show. Sounds intriguing though… and happy you and ds had a blast !

Gaga- I think I am going to go with the Chocolate Chip Snowball Cookies that were posted here a few days ago. Although I may chicken out last minute and end up making regular chocolate chip cookies. We shall see ha

Still here, we fly out early tomorrow. Love going this way, with the time change we will be in early afternoon. West to East is the worst, takes up the whole day.
Had dinner with dd last night. We need to run around and do a few things here today, then will be with her tonight. Uber picks us up at 5:30am. :))))
Ready to be home. Busy week, we need to get a smaller, thinner tree, put it up and decorate. Driving all over to see friends those first few days. Dentist, hair appointments, which are both still where we used to live 9 years ago, about an hour and a half away. Plus shopping for food and whatever else we need.
I haven’t slept well out here, so hoping being back on the proper coast resets my clock so I can catch up on it a bit. Last night I hardly got any sleep, but I will try very hard to be nice and not snappy, even though I am tired. LOL
Will let you all know how that goes.

cmpets – i feel you – not enough sleep this weekend, especially last night, but it was all for fun reasons, so no complaints & just trying not to be grumpy LOL
it’s too warm here – i am cooking a pot of taco soup, but it doesn’t “feel” right being this warm outside
LL – i vote for the snowball cookies! 😉 do i need to try them first so we can see if i mess up as a warning???

I think the last rare theme was neo gothic.
I am upset they removed the robin quilt tile from the holiday bake sale recipes. That is the only one I wanted. They should really add some new items.

It’s 8pm and I managed to remain fairly chipper all day. I think it’s because we are going home tomorrow and all excited. Helped dd pack today, laundry, the usual.
I can’t even remember the last rare theme in classic. I really wish they could have figured out how to make that better instead of developing Next, but I guess I am just happy we still have classic. I need to spend some time on there organizing.

dee.. sounds like you have been busy cleaning ! Happy your dh is due home today ! Spaghetti sounds really good.. one of my favorites.. Having dinner tonight at the OG so may order spaghetti !

moms.. I am sure you are anxiously awaiting the arrival of you ds from college!
Himself is rethinking his departure date… The family that he stays with when he is home is having a complete kitchen reno so I guess they are not up for him coming… His mom would love to have him stay with her but he does not like apartment living ( eyes rolling up in head ! ) She purposely moved to a two bedroom so she would have a place for him and her daughter when she visits…. He has family including me who would love to have him….but he is a tricky kid. He shared with me on our last trip from OSU that last year was the first Christmas in his life that there were presents under a lighted tree when he woke up on Christmas ! ( eyes filling with tears when he told me )

littleleaf.. Snowball cookies sound like a great choice… let us know how it goes and what everyone else baked ! I was very disappointed in the Owl Dispenser…was miniscule and you can’t really appreciate how cute it is.

Dentist appointment cancelled today because there is no staff… That is a first for me !
Having dinner with one of my friends tonight… and celebrating on Thursday with the girls from work. I normally go on Wednesday but tomorrow is the Employee luncheon so I feel like I don’t really belong there ! ( after 47 years)

Made it home, however…currently sitting stuck at airport, they have no rental cars. Been waiting for almost 2 hours, they originally said 2-3 hours. Good times.
We did walk down to get some food since we know the area. We are staying about 45 minutes from here for this visit, so fingers crossed someone returns a car, any car at this point for us to take.
moms-The Atlanta airport was so busy, happy I finally at least got to see it.

59 is pretty warm though… Loved the name for the ctrt ! I call my gadget “the grabber” ! although I don’t need it to retrieve cat toys !
Opted for five cheese ziti for dinner last night… really good !
moms.. you sure are organized.. I am impressed that you have all your trees decorated and your gifts wrapped ! Do you still have baking to do or will your ds be in charge of that ? Just relax and enjoy watching everyone else run around for last minutes gifts and decorating… The more I am driving my car the more I’m liking it ! Trying to decide if I want to keep the Sirius radio..inundated with calls and mail to sign up but not sure yet.
