April – I got a FR from taakocat, too! I was debating whether to accept it or not as I like to know who people are, yet I went ahead and accepted it.
The books were all board books for lil’ girl. My favorite books to read are Goodnight Moon and the Runaway Bunny, yet she has not heard me read those because they are paper books and not board books. She is still in the ripping stage (so far, no books, but watch out for other kinds of paper).

Sheba, USBORNE publishing has some great board books. There is a rubber duck hiding on each page. My boys loved looking for the hidden ducks. The stories are cute too.

Driving all day tomorrow, well and stopping in to see dd at college and take her to dinner, so on popping on today to say hello.

moms- I like lolly, never heard of that, I may save that in the memory banks for the day, many years from now, if it happens, I get to be a grandma.
gaga- YAY!!! Excited for you and your new car. Side note, the very first fish I ever caught when I was about 7 yrs old was a big walleye, fishing with my grandpa in Washington. One of my favorite photos. Turns out he was not such nice man to my Aunts, which we just found out a few years ago, so it’s odd to look back on my memories of him now, but the photo is just of me holding the fish, so I still like it.
One of the downsides of moving around place to place is packing up. Need to finish that up, but clearly putting it off. I am doing the last load of laundry, so sort of being productive. 🙂

gaga—Whoo hoo! Congrats on the car being ready. So exciting! Sadly I have not reached the goal for dogbeard. I’ve gotten sort of close and then I click to quickly and dogbeard to sailing into the abyss. lol I got an A in the quiz yesterday and was so excited, then realized you need an A+. ugh. Yes, lil’ one likes books, but thankfully she doesn’t chew on them. My lil’ grandson on the other hand bit into a board book and ripped it! LOL! They are three weeks apart.
Topazz – I have some Usborne books for when she gets older, but not for this age. A friend who works for the library just brought me a whole box of books from the library book sale, so I have plenty to rotate for her. (I gave a donation). So far she likes almost any book, but she loves the ones that have a song to go with it.
Moms – I just call myself Grandma. I initially wanted Mimi, but then it seems like everyone is doing that in my circles (my sis, my mom….) Then I thought of Gigi, but step-granddaughter had a good friend Gigi. Then I thought of Gram, or Grams, but it was too close to the name of guy one of my daughter’s dated. LOL. I thought of Mimzy after one of my friends on WI. I even considered Anya or hey, why not Sheba? But in the end I just call myself Grandma. We will see what happens.
And your dog is so cute in the bee costume! Adorable! ♥ ♥
So cmpets – I didn’t realize that you were living in “mobile housing” and moving around all the time. I must have missed something.

moms.. Humphrey looks adorable in his bee costume ! He is looking at the camera as if to say REALLY ?? What a cute sweet face ! Thanks for sharing his picture with us.. Will he be dressed up to greet the kids in the neighborhood on Halloween ? I am sure they would love it . Yes.. I am anxious to pick my car up this morning ! Stay tuned ( LOL )
April.. I had lunch in the cafeteria yesterday with the group.. The doctor who I worked for saw me and brought his lunch and joined us.. It was a really fun lunch.. There was also a group of therapy dogs in the lobby who were all dressed up in their Halloween costumes ! Of coarse I had to stop and visit with them ! It was a nice day !
Sheba.. I am sure when your little granddaughter starts talking she may come up with just the right name to call her grandma ! That is how I was given the name gaga ( Godmother )… It just fit !

he really likes to run around wearing the costume holding one of the wings in his mouth – he is so funny, whenever i put something on him, he likes to carry part of it in his mouth – really goofy dog . . . i keep saying “he is here for entertainment purposes only” just to make us laugh i guess after losing Millie (still sad)

Good Morning All !
moms… love the car ! I was at the dealers for over two hours going over the cars’ features… Needless to say that is way too techy for me ! ( LOL ) ! Love the striping.. I did not go cruising after I picked it up.. I was extremely nervous.. two highways to get home and once it was parked in the garage it stayed there and I drove the other one ! Need to get more comfortable before I take it everywhere.. I texted himself but hasn’t responded yet… Really ?? I know he is busy but..
Nice story about the new CAVS player… Donovan Mitchell… kid in the stand wanted to fist bump him as he is the kid’s favorite player… They brought him down courtside to meet Donovan… who wanted to autograph something for the kid… Donovan ended up taking off his game shoes, signed them… and gave them to the kid ! Needless to say the kid was thrilled and I am sure Donovan had 12 more pairs of shoes in his locker ! So sweet.. Love those sappy stories..
