Good Morning All !
Happy Friday !
I had a really nice road trip yesterday ! Sunny and trees were all changing colors and beautiful. Himself was packed up and ready when I arrived. We chatted all the way home but did not bring up any of his plans for potential post grad future and didn’t want to pry .
moms.. I did make a few concessions with my car but am happy. I was able to get the color I wanted and picked out the leather… However they called when I had gotten home from OSU and wanted me to come back and choose a different leather as they do not use the manufacturer of the samples they had shown me the day before ( rollling eyes).. I was not up to getting back in my car and heading to the dealer… Returning today so hopefully should have the finished car next week !
dee.. loved seeing the evidence of the robbers ! Next trip you will probably need a locked container !
Sheba .. hope the rest of your week was uneventful at school. I am sure you are looking forward to a restful ? weekend !
April…. Big sports weekend coming up here ! Game 2 was rescheduled for today for the Guardians…Patriots and Belichick coming Sunday.
OSU has a by week. Had a good morning at the NEXT Academy !
Hopefully get some lunchboxes from Wacky !

Oh – I only teach on Mondays! But I have lil’ girl care on Thursdays (usually 10 hours, but yesterday was 12 hours). She took a nap for me finally! Even though it was too short….still progress!
Dee – I have a chair just like yours! 😉 Twinsies. Thankfully, no paw prints. But then, I don’t camp.

dh wanted deviled eggs, so that made me want potato salad. and you can not just have deviled eggs and po salad, so i made pasta salad (the ruby tuesday one with ham)……….and then ya need burgers and chicken!

Awwww dee thanks for thinking of the lunch box for me… thankfully I was able to get one… mostly rugs and those wacky cookies…
I went back this morning to the car dealer to choose a different color… As it turned out … there is no choices.. The salesman had used a selection choice thing… ( similar to paint chips ) and Toyota does not use that company… The manager came out of his office to speak with me. I suggested he throw the selection ring in the garbage and not offer color choices to customers that Toyota doesn’t use. I had already given them a check for full amount. I am totally frustrated and left without issue being resolved. He was going to see what he could do and call me tomorrow…

dee… I have been perusing the internet all morning.. Thank you for the links !
Have checked out one so far… looked at nine pages of Ravs… and not ONE is offered in beige interior … ALL black…I have even checked Honda CRV’s … All offered in black interiors….. Thank you for your interest and efforts… As I have paid for the car already and yes it is expensive.. I think I will have to go with the closest beige color that is available…. I am thankful to be able to purchase a new car and have mine to give himself… As the Beatles once sang… Let it Be !
All thoughts are with himself today as he is taking his drivers test at 11 …
I can’t begin to image how he will handle not passing… not gonna go there
I am picking up his favorite cake with Congratulatory Sentiment written…
Have not told anyone but our peeps here…. SO I will pray that all goes well…
My sister took him to the site yesterday.. He practiced for hours….

will be nice if you have a choice for the interior – i had to get a bit darker than i wanted in my car, but what i wanted was not an option at all – kind of glad it worked out that way though because my darker seats show less “wear” than my dh’s lighter ones
i thought it wouid be the exact opposite, but the dark has turned out the be more forgiving than i expected AND it doesn’t burn off my skin like i was afraid it would LOL

Good Morning All !
THANK YOU ALL for the well wishes for himself ! I delivered the cake and gave him a hug ! It was a big milestone for him and he can go back to OSU with that monkey off his back ! I had tears all the home from picking up his cake and was so thankful it all worked out. He would like to wait until he comes home for winter break before he takes the car back to school.. He wants to drive it a bit in familiar territory as he is technically a new driver and has never driven my car before…
moms … Will see what Toyota comes up with tomorrow when they call and then move forward. My financial brother reached out to all of us yesterday. He wants to set up our next luncheon ! He has been elusive for so long ..now seems to want continue family get togethers… Makes me happy !
dee.. my next project is going to be to find a place that will install a CD player ! Making a list of places to call and see what is available.. The car comes with a 3 month free Sirius trial and will see what that is all about but hope to get a CD player as I have lots of music and rarely listen to the radio.
Week 3 of NEXT challenges are up today..
Sheba.. I think you had previously mentioned that you work on Mondays but I guess it slipped my mind ! You pack a week’s worth of preparation into your class ! Your day always sounds fun for the girls and a great learning experience.

That also wonderful your brother wants to together with the family again. Sorry to hear about the new car struggle. I would def. be mad too, it sure seems like they were not honest with you. I hope your meeting with them tomorrow goes well. It’s going to be colder here the next few days, but thankfully no S word yet. Was a busy weekend, will be on the couch watching football the rest of the day. Will try for some good pics of Stella tomorrow.

RedZone channel is on, so football all day here too. Well afternoon into evening, which I cannot get used to. I am in bed for the late games, cannot stay up.
All good here down south. Explored some of the nearby areas this past couple of weekends which was fun. Currently trying to figure out where we go next. Have an event in the middle of next month which is throwing original plans off. Also need to book our flights home for December. Better start a list, that is the only way I remember to do everything these days.
Guess I better go play the annoying wacky game before that event is over.

Look for the ghost in the Reading Room at the Webkinz Classic Clubhouse from October 20 – 31, and click on it to collect candy. Collect all twelve by Halloween to win the grand prize: Haunted Lockers!

From October 22 to 31, Next players can look for the ghost around Kinzville and in the Mines and catch it to earn cool costume pieces for a Pirate Empress or a Robot costume.

Okay I gave up on it. If anyone has one extra lunchbox, I would greatly appreciate it. I saw the hints when those were posted and was able to get one, but have tried and tried all weekend and no luck. I do have enough chocolate bars to fill a fridge or two, got that prize 9 times out 10.
Also, I know not everyone plays Next a ton, so if anyone needs Glampire items, I am happy to send some over. I wish they would have brought the side tables back, but at least they brought back the rest of the theme along with a few new items.
I like the Halloween stuff on there, so trying to keep up with the Season Pass stuff. And will definitely have to make time for the Ghost. Such a time consuming hobby, but I still enjoy it. 🙂
