   moms… Thanks for the code updates ! Were you able to get the acorn buddy or did I miss you posting about it ? The Glamping theme is available on NEXT and is supposed to be kinzpostable… Have not try sending the items I purchased this morning… I am not going to complain about attempting to take a shower this morning and the water/hot cold dial is broken ! Spins but no water !! Grrr… but not complaining… at least I have a home ! ( and a shower in the basement although I am always fearful to go down there ) never know if Mickey is hiding somewhere !! LOL

   April… The travelers including Jasper and Juniper ( formerly Jude ) arrived safely home last night….My sister forgot to text me that they had arrived and waited till 130 and asked by text if all was OK… I am hearing that they officially adopted Juniper before they left Connecticut yesterday ! They are here for a clambake today and will head back tomorrow morning ! What a long drive for a clambake ! Not even sure if I will be able see them as the bake is as the wife’s house an hour away…. We’ll see.

   Sheba… How are you ? Hope some R&R is on your to do list this weekend..
   Lots to do in WW and NEXT so hope you can spend some time ” Playing ” !

    Hello-
    gaga-they always have a day in between Seasons on Next, not sure why, but I do enjoy the break from feeling like I have to log on.

    I did go on and buy some of the new Glampire items. Loved that theme, so very happy they brought it back and added items.

    HOW is is October? I have no idea where last month went. DId not have much time for WW. I think I managed to get most for the Fall Fest prizes, still need to look at that. I haven’t even opened my soda or Autumn Patio boxes yet, that is how far behind I am. Hopefully tomorrow I can spend some time on there.

    Thank you for the codes!!! Saves me time from going and looking.

    Lots of trees down everywhere in this area. Saw some flooded parking lots today. Some boys were wake boarding being pulled by a motorcycle through it. Someone came by and talked to them, so they left, but it was funny to see.

    Also, we have an alligator swimming around in the pond right behind where we are staying, we are on the 3rd floor, so at least he is below us. We named him Albert. So getting a proper Florida welcome at this point.

    Our friends still don’t have power, and their street is a river, so we are very aware how much worse it could be.

    Hey all, haven’t been on in awhile but wanted to let ya know me & mine are okay tree service got my trees one went down on the corner of my lanai but did pretty well considering.Got POWER 🙂 I am a little south of CWC sooo it went right though us. Scared the heck out of me/us. especially the trees hitting the house.

    Soooo, a lot sunnier in my back yard
    The winds weren’t as high as Irma but it lasted a very long time. Most of my county lost power and cell service went down.

    Oh and there’s trashed shed thing behind my neighbors house. It’s not hers we not even allowed to have structures like that here….

    Pretty sure it’s from the course’s maintennace area.

    Good Afternoon

    So happy that our peeps in FLA are ok…Can’t image what all those people are going through… not to mention the process of starting over and rebuilding..

    All chores and errands done for the day… Planning on heading out early for a day in Amish…Very chilly here today.. making a big pot of chicken noodle soup and settle in to watch some Football and play in WW ! Catching the 4th quarter of Saints/Viking game in ? London… pretty exciting game…Favorite former OSU player on the Saints … hope to see him in a few plays.
    Heard from himself last night… really busy and doesn’t have any free time to chat as he used to.
    Travelers left this morning for Connecticut… My sister’s kitty has been MIA since Jasper and Juniper took over her space !

    moms.. Happy you are pleased with your family room and how everything is situated ! Take some time to relax and enjoy it ! Such a big undertaking getting your new home decorated and having your furniture and ” things” just so. Before you know it … it will be time to decorate for Christmas and have to reorganize everything ! Are you planning on tuning in the Atlanta game ?

    April.. Not sure who Detroit is playing today but hopefully will be a good game…. One of the Browns key Defensive player was involved in a fairly serious car accident this week… and thankfully he will not be playing ! Certainly not worth the risk. Is Stella ready for Halloween ? Anxious to see her in her costume.

    moms.. Garrett has been on our local news all week.. visible facial injuries..When you saw the images of his car it was hard to believe he walked away without more serious injuries ! I think he may have a lead foot too ! Hearing about Dolphins physician who was fired for permitting their quarterback to return to the game last Sunday after an obvious significant head injury…and being cleared to play in the same week with yet another significant head trauma….Someone needs to step up and not allow these guys to play…

    i think more than 1 person should be accountable for tua – i don’t work for the nfl or have any medical degree, and i don’t see how he was allowed back in the game Sunday

    i know some of these players also aren’t completely honest about symptoms, etc. because they want to play, but the nfl has got to have protocols in place that prevent that from ever happening again

    Hello!

    Definitely crazy to play one week after a concussion! I don’t really follow football but I’ve heard all about this!

    Haven’t entered the buddy codes yet.

    Gaga – Busy making blanket kits for the girls in my class tomorrow. I am teaching them to sew a two-sided flannel blanket for their doll by hand. We are studying the time period of 1850’s when sewing machines weren’t around. That said…next week I will bring in sewing machines and we will finish them that way. Some girls will probably finish it by hand, but I have some new to sewing girls and not everyone catches on quickly or likes the activity. Still, I think it is still good for everyone to learn how to thread a needle and tie a knot. Knowing how to do the straight stitch or back stitch is a basic skill to have. We will see how it goes. I’m glad that my one larger class of twelve has some girls with experience. It will help.

    In the story of the doll, blankets were made to pass out to the orphans. So that will be one of our topics – orphans in the 1950’s.

    gaga—I did see Miles Garrett on the news and what an awful wreck he had. Unbelievable he walked away from that. Glad to see he wasn’t playing considering what happened to Tua. Clearly Tua shouldn’t have been playing and probably should be more people fired. I hope he can fully recover from that without lasting damage. And then the JJ Watt Afib thing, crazy. I don’t know if you got to see your nephew and his wife while they were there for the clambake. Yes, that is quite a drive for one afternoon/evening. Hope they had a safe drive back. Hopefully your sisters cat will come out of hiding now. The Lions game was fun, no defense on either side so it was a high scoring game on both sides. Unfortunately, they lost, but things are clicking on offense for them. Their number one WR and RB were both out and the number twos really stepped up. They really need some work on that defense. I’ve got Stella’s costume all ready to go! Have fun in Amish country today!
