Hello!
Gaga – Hopefully spending more time with kitty will help! π You have a good memory about my classes being on Monday. However, we start later than most. The Monday after labor day. That said, there is a teacher meeting and orientation where we meet the students. However, I’ve been excused. I’m going to a funeral instead of the meeting. And I’m on vacation the week of orientation. Not happy about missing, yet I’m excited because my stateside kiddos will be there!
Dee – I did not know that KA was up & working on Next. I want to check it out but I seriously am having trouble focusing on what I need to do in RL.
Moms – I like pizza palace okay, but I agree about it being time consuming. I’ve wondered if it is psychological, though, because I can get to 60 KC in about 10-12 minutes. That said, I’m only doing one account today. I won’t do all my accounts, but will do about 1/2 of them. Trying to wrap up the Super School Challenge before vacation (Sat to Sat). Three more to go. I’m doing all of them because I’m trying to add aquariums to my Aquarium. π LOL! Well, I share with my dd.
Btw, dd has had a bit of time to play again. She was very excited about all the new items that I store in two of her rooms for her to see. It has been a while since she has played and I was losing hope! .
Hoping my dear granddaughter gets excited again. Now that she is a teen I think she feels she is too old for WW. She plays when she is here, but this summer it didn’t work out for her to come. Looking forward to seeing her on vacation.
I’m procrastinating….ha ha! Trying to get four lessons prepared today!

too cheap to use my wow coupons
and the academy thing in next only takes a few minutes. only one visit per day (versus classic where you can swap pets)……..you get points for passing and they add up and you can buy things from school store. so will take a bit to even go shopping

Good Morning All !
E store mystery solved ! My credit card company had put a hold on my card and I was not aware of it.. Apparently they tried to notify me when I had no phone service… I had purchased a TV table and they were questioning that ! After several phone calls and a couple of hours of frustration… card was approved for use… Thanks moms for your offer though….
Visit with kitty went pretty well… I know she is lonesome for her family as she has no one there to play with except for my visits… She is just a kitten.
The other odd thing is that she drinks from the kitchen faucet… not sure she drinks from a bowl ! I left a trickle of water while I was there and was worried that I had forgotten to turn it off…. not worried enough to go back as it takes 25 minutes each way …
Long awaited dining room chairs which I am having reupholstered are to be delivered this morning.. Anxious to see them and hopefully not disappointed in my choice !
Received an F in the Strength game in NEXT ! LOL
Sheba .. Happy that you don’t start classes until after Labor Day… and that your family is coming for a visit ! I am sure you are so excited to have your kids come and visit !
moms… Thanks for your offer about the e store !! I was able to get the water bottle and it sure is cute ! I am a sucker for dispensers ! I have to say I was pretty good at four letter words until my credit card issue was solved !

Good morning! I forgot all about KA in NEXT today! And I thought I was done! I was glad to sell my strawberries at the market, though as I have over a hundred of them!
I have to be really focused today on lesson prep and have 5-10 minute breaks worked into every hour for Webkinz. That said, I am way behind on my goal for the 10 a.m. hour. Blah…blah…blah…..
Gaga – I have heard of kitties drinking from the faucet, but that wouldn’t be my choice. I’d rather them drink from a bowl. Can’t wait to hear about your reaction to your newly upholstered chairs. Glad the credit card issue is resolved!

gaga – hope you love your chairs! i have some i want to do also – did you use a colorful fabric or stay neutral? i’m thinking i’ll do something somewhat neutral in the dining room, but i might do something more tweed like or something in the kitchen . . . i just don’t want them as light as they are now – they won’t steam clean & are showing a few spots – ugh

Oh my goodness! I started ready to go for the day.
Schedule:
9 a.m. Breakfast, Quiet Time, Correspondence
10 a.m. Lesson 1
11 a.m. Lesson 2
12 NOON Lesson 3
1 p.m. Lunch
2 p.m. Lesson 4
3 p.m. Nap
4 p.m. meeting etc………
Well, the reality is….I’m still on lesson 1. AND…the nap happened at NOON.
I really thought that I could do it, but the copier jammed…I couldn’t find the extra staples, and the staples that I had packed for my class was at the bottom of the crate…AND I have a slight headache…..

Dee – Next KA classes were easier today for me. AND by the way, the four-letter word that I didn’t know yesterday was “Jape”. But maybe I’m in the minority on that one.
And the classic KA classes are annoying today. I usually have NO trouble passing agility or speed, but today I just couldn’t do it.
Moms – As far as my schedule today, I thought that what would motivate me is that I worked out a list of “Break” activities, that I could do if I finished my lesson prep before the hour was up. Break activities, of course, were Webkinz related. I finally gave up on my goals and played Webkinz for the past 45 minutes. Sigh! I need to get back on track.

It is just that it takes longer to prep a lesson than I thought! Some are more labor intensive than others. I am hopeful that the other lessons will go faster.

Good Morning All !
moms.. I can only imagine the adjustment it would be to pack your boys up and send them off to college.. having a new “empty nest” and trying to begin this new phase of your life too ! Time they say is a great healer.. but not as easy as it sounds. ( sending a hug your way ) Allow yourself some time to adjust !
Let the video chats and phone calls ease the transition. Rely on us for support and a place to help your mind go to a different place even for a short time.
Things will get better and before you know it …….Thanksgiving… Christmas…and they will be home on break. You have listened to us and comforted us when we needed help to cope…..Now it is our turn to help YOU
On a lighter note… Love my chairs ! They did a beautiful job.. I am changing my whole color scheme. I have lived here 20 years and I need something different… I chose two different fabrics for the chairs… Navy pin stripe on three chairs and Navy and white big checks.. cranberry piping around all chairs. Kind of going with American theme for living area. Will need to replace carpet and have some painting done.. It will be a process but I have nothing but time !
Sheba. .. Ease back into your routine at your own pace ! You’ll get there !
It is always good to have a schedule but daily life throws roadblocks in our way.. Do the best you can and somehow slowly but surely you will get back into the routine of your “school schedule “. I am the world’s worst procrastinator and am easily distracted.. I make a to do list each morning and if something doesn’t get done… I put it on the top of the list the next day
Works for me but I am retired and have extra time anyway.
dee… Where would the blog be without you !! Love your humor… your recipes.. and all of the updates you provide us ! When you don’t post in the morning I worry and wonder if all is ok..
You all have become like a family to me… and if someone is struggling .. it really effects me.. I am a born worrier ! I rely on music … Have my favorites and put them on and get lost in the music…
Busy day today… Two dental appointments.. Finishing up dental implants and has been a three month process.. Was not going to check on PIP ( the kitty) but feel really bad for her being alone. Will fit that in to my day and spend some time in WW ! ( as always )
Debating about getting a second booster tomorrow.. hearing that new vaccine will be available mid September so I may wait… getting shingles vaccine regardless..

dee.. my sister feels pets would be better in their own environment since it is just a week.. Not sure with Pip because she is just a kitten… so far all is well but I am so sure she misses her family ! I will be glad when they get home too !
As far as my car… It seems that when you buy a new car these days you give the salesman a list of all your requirements and options…They must work from a master list because as cars arrive to the dealer they will contact buyer if a car is close to what they want ! Two things for me which were non negotiable are color ( white ) and tan leather interior. Other than those two options I would consider anything . Last time I checked with salesman ( about 3 weeks ago ) they were still filling order from April ! I ordered my car June 9th. I intend to check every month to see how many cars are coming in and where I’m at on their list. He says most likely December – February !!
Might just be a 2023 by the time I get it. Plan on calling him the first week in September… I really don’t think I even have a vin number… Toyotas presently being built or assembled in Ontario.
The other issue that is really bothering me is that my particular choice does not come in Bright White and the color offered is ? Oyster Pearl but they did not have one for me to see. Website picture is not very good..So hard to tell as it looks almost silvery … which I don’t think I would be happy with either !
Plan on discussing that with him when I call…

thank goodness for my kittens right now – actually the puppy is also a love bug, but i just . . . well . . . he’s a lot more trouble π – yesterday was rough for me emotionally, but the warthogs are doing well – very well – which helps a lot

Moms – I’ve been productive. I was very unrealistic with my list. But I made good progress (1/2 way there).

moms I hope today is a better day for you. Hopefully each day will be better and I know you have lots to do to keep you busy ! Pets can be so comforting but have always had dogs my whole life…I must take after my long deceased grandmother who got the willies when a cat tried to scratch their face on her or rub against her leg when she was standing at the sink. I guess I am the same way… So a don’t really see a cat in my future.
dee.. Hope your day goes smoothly at the courthouse… One more week to go Thanks for all the info on the Ravs. I feel consumers have such a disadvantage by not being able to see colors, interiors, options due to NO cars in the showroom. I guess those days are long gone. I am one who likes to see what I am purchasing .. Colors are so deceiving on website.. and since I hang on to my car for 10 years or so… I want it to be right and have no regrets. I don’t know maybe I am being too picky.. spend a lot of time in my car and just want to love it !
Sheba… So sorry about losing someone you know… particularly when unexpected or sad circumstances. Happy you are able to have some time with your granddaughter to help brighten your day !
