   moms.. So sorry you are getting sick ! Couldn’t happen at a worse time for you
   with all that is going on in your RL ! I can’t believe you have to move next week
   I hope your PCR test is negative although that probably won’t make you feel too much better ! Thoughts are with you and you feel a little better today.

   dee.. Have fun fishing today ! Hope your dh is up and about early so you can get on the road. I too am an early riser ! The book you posted looks really interesting.. I do really have a large variety of birds although I have tried to attract the Blue Birds with no luck ! Lots of advertising for upcoming Live PD

   Sheba… I hope your electricity is all set and you haven’t had any further issues. Heat really ramping up this week.. would be unbearable not to have it.

   cmpets… don’t envy your cross country drive…at least you can have a rest stop in Texas for visiting friends… Although I enjoy driving I can barely do a trip to OSU and back without getting antsy… ( two hours each way )

    moms.. happy that your test was negative ! I can’t imagine packing up a household and moving all in the same week ! I am glad you found someone to help you pack up….for at least one day. I hope your dss’ are good packers ! I guess the only way to look at it is that it will all be worth it once you are somewhat moved and settled. Wish you felt better though. All I can say is that my thoughts are with you ( hearts )

    dee. Sounds like you had good luck fishing ! Just wondering if you fish from a boat ? Would an umbrella help ? I know it would be cumbersome but once your line is in the water at least it may help.

    Sheba.. How is your granddaughter feeling ? Hope she is better ! I am getting worse at Cake It Up instead of better ! I am just happy I don’t need it

    gaga – i’m glad and thankful that we will be “on the other side” of the move, but i cannot even fathom getting it all done – i am focusing on one bit at a time for my own sanity

    i have a good attitude about it – am very positive – this is a good thing and our choice – a blessing – just somewhat stressful timing

    i think the new house is going to feel good though, does that make sense?

    moms-hopefully you are feeling better. I know how that is when you have so much to do and just DO NOT have time for it. Excited for you to be in a new space.

    We have a little over a month, and I really need to list the furniture we want to sell and not store. Trying to get all of that done this weekend.

    Finally finished NEXT season today. And Deluxe day is very disappointing.

    Moms – Sorry about you not feeling well! Not good when you have so much that has to be done! I am forgetting….did you find a “new” house to buy or are you moving somewhere temporarily until you find a more permanent place?

    I just tested myself again….negative…so that is good. (Day 6 after exposure).

    Gaga – I am not good at cake it up, nor many of the games that are in the challenges. I usually end up liking them or hating them. Cake it up is just so-so for me. I think the bar should have been lower, because it wasn’t fun when I had so much trouble achieving the goal (or while trying to…)

    I ended up with 3,140 on one account and 3,120 on another. I haven’t figured out how many points were possible.

    I am not sure I know how to decorate with the new Deluxe item…
    Not feeling very creative here.

    and that next season thing bugs me…………last nite i needed 30pts to get reward…………..this morning i needed 90
    and sometimes i reach the level and it just goes blank where prize is and starts recounting towards next level………….i am doing the freebie one
    i have gotten some neat stuff, if i had gobs of kc, i would do the replica and send to the classic world to gift a dear friend.
    i am pretty sure those adirondack (sp?) chairs are kpable once you get them to classic…….someone on the fb was giving them away…..
    oh well, learning curve

    and i think the deluxe prize should go in a lunar room or outer space type thing………..it reminds me of some martian space equipment

    qos – we bought a new house

    we let the sellers stay a couple of weeks or so after closing, but luckily they decided to leave early, so we can move there and let our buyers have this one when they wanted – it’s all fallen into place like it’s meant to be, so i’m optimistic that it will all work out nicely & as it should . . .

    i have no job
    so, all i do is plan menus
    try not to do too many repeats and keep it seasonal etc
    but………not that easy………got some yellow peppers coming ripe this weekend, so will throw them in a pasta salad of some kind

    found some egg noodles in clearance section at kroger, so need to figure what i will do with them……….and yes i shop in clearance……….no shame
    you just gotta check expiration dates and know what your menu is

    Good Morning !

    moms.. I bet your neighbors were thrilled with their “gifts”.. so nice of you do that ! Maybe there will be a line up at your door this morning ! Hopefully everything will fall into place next week and there will be no rush to unpacking.
    Enjoy the time with the boys before they head back to school… then you can take your time ……..Unfortunately your house will be quiet and you will have lots of time on your hands…after you get your mom settled !
    Did you happen to catch any of the ESPY”S last night ? Steph Curry was the mc… Had some areas of Tornado Warnings so weather kept breaking into program lasting for half an hour at a time… missed some big portions of the ESPY’s so I will need to rewatch in its entirety. I did not even get one drop of rain ! Most of the bad weather in Amish area

    dee.. I keep my A/C set at 80 during the day and turn it down to 75 at night.
    The space is small so it stays nice and cool…. I think the new NEXT Season starts today but there is nothing available yet. Hesitant to do anything on there as far as daily activities in case they are needed for new challenges.

    Sheba.. glad you are still testing negative.. Hope you granddaughter is improved !

    I don’t think you probably watched the ESPY awards last night but they awarded the Pat Tillman award for Service to a woman whose name is Sergeant Major Gretchen Evans… She entered the military at age 19 and served 27 years…
    If you can google her story it is well worth the watch !!! Pat Tillman Award 2022)
    Pat Tillman was an NFL football player with Arizona Cardinals… who left a successful career to join the military after 9/11.. He felt a calling to serve his country and was ultimately killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan.
    moms I think you would be amazed by her story too ! ( She gets a service dog )
