moms.. So happy that your plumber has fixed your shower ! I have had to take a cold shower before but not easy to do and hated it ! Sounds like your mom has been keeping you very busy.. I am impressed she has a smart phone ! I hope she is learning to manage daily living with her brace..especially with having to use a walker. really everything … eating bathing ect.
Hopefully your ds’s musical is going well and can come home for a visit when it has wrapped up ! I have gotten three calls from himself in two days !
He must be very bored (LOL) but his jobs start today so he will be busy and I am sure he won’t be calling but loved hearing from him !
I too am not ready to give WW up.. I am just sorry that I am hearing about punishing players permanently for such trivial things… We have all been loyal supporters since the beginning and I am sure spent significant amounts of money to play ..

My dishwasher is about 20 years old and last time I had it serviced the man said that there are a lot of years left in it… although I don’t need to run it everyday …My kitchen appliances are Maytag too.
I am glad you could get your porch carpet ordered and hopefully installed in a timely fashion…Don’t know what part of the country you live but my mom’s screened in porch had carpet… we just rolled it up and stored it for the winters and unrolled it for summers.. We spent so much time sitting out there visiting and watching the birds… One of the things I miss most !

Gaga – I thought Maytag had a good name! Nice to hear that you have longevity with your dishwasher. The service man said they aren’t making them to last anymore and replacement parts are only available after 5 years. Ours was a 2015 model that we bought about 5 years ago or so. And it figures that there are no longer replacement pieces. We just need a new control panel. Such a waste of a perfectly good machine (other than the start button that is stuck). My dh is going to play around with it at some point and see what he can do. If he doesn’t have success, oh well. I told him I’m not in a hurry to get a new one. I definitely want one before fall (thinking of Thanksgiving/Christmas family gatherings).

How is every one that is playing NEXT doing with this season so far? I still am working on Lily Padz and Goody Gumdrops for the games. I’ve done everything else I possibly can….one account (gd) doesn’t have a kid and the other one (mine) must have missed a day of dailies because it should be ahead, but it is not.
I kinda’ like the new recipe concept.., at least I like the final products. We will see how it goes.

moms-sounds like what I do when I have a day to myself. Hope your Mom enjoys the movie, I thought they did a good job with it.
QoS- I have 2450 on my account in Next and I have skipped the games that are hard for me. Also do not have a baby on main account, but do have a kid. On dd’s account, we have 2370, so I may need to get the pass with the extra points for that account, not sure why it’s so much lower. I will try to do Lily Pads on that account to give it a boost. Just showed dd her cute baby unicorn on there the other day. She has enough to buy another pet and spark a baby, so she can see what that’s like this week.
Still haven’t heard from Customer Service, I guess I will call them to see why my payment doesn’t work. Not sure if I care or not. And guess I won’t be shopping cyber Thursday if I can’t et that fixed.
Off to do a bunch of returns. Will check in here later.

Hi all,
Everyone but me has COVID in my house. I am surprised we made it this long. We are pretty good about wearing masks. I have made sure I had my mask on when I went out. I didn’t want to get anyone else sick.

Good Morning All-
Checking in quickly before I have to drive dd to jury duty. She is speaking with the judge and attorneys this morning to try and be dismissed from the jury “pool” (has not been picked yet officially, that process starts this afternoon). They have a 3 week trial starting which won’t end until the end of July, and by the questionnaire, sounds like it involves some serious stuff. She literally just finally got a job offer for a job (most places won’t hire her just for Summer), which obviously she would not be able to take, so hopefully they will let her go or serve on a shorter trial. PLEASE send her good vibes.
Gaga- hope car shopping goes well. We need another car, but just started looking. We only have one for the 3 of us to share currently as we drove dd’s out last year for college, and she left it there for the Summer.
Never heard back from CS on payment issue, so sent them another email this morning. I will try to call later today as well.
Moms- I must have missed why fruity pebbles relates to you. I rarely have it, but it is one of my favorites and gluten free. We have a box in the pantry, I may have to open it now. 🙂

Hey All !
Just bought or should I say ordered my new car ! That is the good news… the not so good news is that he said to expect a 2-8 month wait ! No inventory as I had suspected… but was not expecting the length of time to get it. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is sooner rather then later… I ordered the Toyota Rave 4. XLE Premium… ( just a few extras ) . I decided that since it would most likely be my last car to get exactly what I want .
moms.. thought the e store points were a good deal. 35% off !
I like some players on each team but so far it has been very exciting series. Whoever ends up on top will be well deserved.
dee… REELZ is the network that carries the series JAIL.. Often wonder what inmates would think if they were to watch a rerun of their behavior … That would be sobering in itself..

Can’t believe someone hasn’t addressed your e store issue… I’m not sure but I don’t think they answer their phone ! I remember the day when they answered.. were courteous .. and fixed the problem ! Sad how things have changed.

dee.. this will be my third RAV 4… I bought my first one in 2004 ( put 111000 thousand miles when I sold it to my brother for his four daughters to drive… They have all graduated from college and are on their own… and my brother and his wife drove the RAV to FLA and left it there so they would have transportation when they went down there… I am hearing that it still runs great 18 years later.. The RAV I presently have is nearing 105000 miles and will give it to himself when I get the new one…. Thought about hybrid but decided to get the traditional gas powered one… not sure if it is the right decision but my decision is made and I’m sticking to it ! I did quite a bit of looking on line at what inventory if any was available at various dealers… but I’m just gonna say…. I want what I want… Had a short list of non negotiable options so I guess I will just sit tight and wait for them to call….. but will check in with salesman in 2 months and see what he says. Maybe I’ll get lucky !

What I’m most disappointed about is the fact that they no longer instill CD players !! He mentioned Blue Tooth but it was as if he was speaking a foreign language …( LOL ) I have so many CD’s that I listen to and rarely use the radio.

that is why i copy cds onto one of those thumb drive thingsy gaga!
dh put a big cord on it, so it will not get lost……plus you can pick and choose what songs you want!!!
and i figured it out pretty easy………after i a few i realized i was not copying them to drive, i was putty them on computer. but i just moved them over to the drive thing………which the computer was telling me, i was just not paying attention/and new to process

She got dismissed! But she said the judge was scary and they asked her for the manager’s number to verify they would not hire her if she was stuck on this trial. Who would go through the process of hiring and training someone to work there for less than a month??? She said the judge said something about it being unpatriotic. We get that it is hard to get people to sit for a 3 week trial, but sheesh.
Did anyone buy anything for the cyber sale? I looked, but not sure there is anything I need at this point.
CS responded to the email I sent this morning. No help at all. Basically said exactly what the message says- verify your address and phone number match the cc and make sure the exp date is entered in the correct format. Do they really think I didn’t check that? I just bought the panda for next a couple of weeks ago when it was on sale and paid with this card. So that is where I am at with that. lol
gaga- Congrats on the new car. The waitlist thing is still so crazy. Feel like it will be awhile before they catch up to demand. Hopefully yours arrives quickly. And it is funny they no longer install cd players. dd’s car is a 2021 and she has Carplay where you have to plug your phone in, then everything is on the screen. That took a bit of getting used to for us. She of course was able to navigate it immediately.

I had baby doll today, and Gaga, my company came yesterday and left today. It has been a long day and it is now after midnight. SO….TODAY (Friday) I need to start packing for a weekend retreat. Then on Sunday we are coming home early to celebrate m-i-l’s 96th birthday. I’m spinning…..so yeah….Dee….losing it!

cmpets… Just thought of something… Try calling your cc company.. Attempting to buy something in the estore and was unable to do so because it would not accept my card which I had always used… Called the cc company and was told they felt there was a security breach for transaction of something ridiculous like 31 cents. ( which I hadn’t made ) but they failed to notify me that they had put a hold on my card… To make a long story longer… Needed to reissue a new card and Voila… fixed ! Worth a try !

That sounded like a crazy, stressful (possibly partially psychotic!) Webkinz dream you’d had, and it made me LOL!
Also re the free outfit confusion, when I went to the e-store to see what you were talking about, I was initially confused too! Then on Thursday I didn’t end up getting the freebee, becuase I’d missed the hat last time, and I didn’t want just the lower part. – Not a big deal. I don’t generally dress my webkinz up as fruit anyway! 🙂
Moms: Hope your mother’s arm is healing ok.
Topazz: I know 6 people who currently have covid. All vaxed, not sure how careful they were though, and all seemed to be most sick for 3 days, then much better. – That’s an improvement over pre-vaccination. I am allergic to the vaccines and cannot get them, and am always afraid of catching it, and always masked!
Cmpets: Glad DD got dismissed/postponed. Scary judge does sound scary!

Re the CD Player, I bet you could have one installed by someone else maybe? But if you have a smart phone (don’t know if you do!) then, as someone else mentioned, you might be able to connect that (with a wire, or wirelessly) and use songs from there somehow. – Learning curve for sure, but probably not too bad once you learn it.
Hey, could they maybe remove the CD player from your old car and put it in your new one? Might be worth asking?

I wonder what the future of Webkinz is going to be. I think I’ve been playing since maybe year 4? I was curious and looked up the whole “duplicated fruit” discussions online. The heavy handedness and lack of communication from Ganz on that, and for Cmpets with the payment issue, is distressing. And of course I think they’re trying to move us all over to “Next.” – If we could send items or duplicate our classic accounts onto Next, I might move to there eventually. But I like the simplicity of classic. I also, personally, liked the older plushes vs the big eyed new ones. But things change. (I’m not a big fan of change!)

I agree with you about how Ganz is handling things. I don’t want to play Next. I did the beta test and did not enjoy it. If we had been allowed to keep our beta accounts, I would have played.
We have all been vacced with boasters. It must be so scary for you. I am still the most healthy which is rare. My hubby has been down for two weeks. My oldest was sick last week and my youngest was sick this week.

If not I guess I will learn how to play my favorites on whatever… CD of the week is Jethro Tull. Thick as a Brick ! I am really happy about the car and keeping my fingers crossed that it comes sooner than expected…

Will be having a few people for dinner tomorrow at my mom’s place and plan on grilling ! May consider taking the grill if no one wants it but am worried that mice would set up a home if I brought it here ! (LOL) but I sure do like to grill in the summer… so we’ll see.
Topazz.. I much prefer Webkinz Classic and have been playing since 07..
I do play some NEXT but really don’t spend too much time there.

Ha! Based on the picture in Dee’s link above, I thought the Player Appreciation gift might be the hammock. But it’s the flower tiles on the ground next to it lol! Based on the comments there (at WKN), it looks like I might not have been alone in that thinking.
Also in the comments at WKN, someone mentioned when it used to rain in Webkinz Classic! – Remember that?!! And it used to snow! (Not just having a snowy ground, but falling snow.) I forgot about that! I wonder why they stopped doing that?

I thought it was the hammok too. I was excited because I thought we were getting a decent prize. I don’t need more flower tiles.
