My brother is flying up from Georgia on Sunday for a couple of days… I am hosting our first family dinner on Sunday since January ! dee.. found a Birding book yesterday and inquired about local birding groups I have to investigate website and find one that works for me..
They have a big chalkboard behind the register and check off which birds have been spotted in the area so far this spring…. They also have photo contest for people who take pictures of local wildlife and the winner for this month was picture of a little owl on someone’s birdbath ! So cute !

Bought a couple of legacy boxes, but with the way box opening and wheel spinning has been going, maybe I will wait to open those. lol
Trying to decide if I buy the Next Panda for dd’s account. I do not want the plush, but it’s the only way to get it. Almost bought it on the Panda day thing, but it’s the same price today and still thinking about it. Other than the length of time on my Webkinz accounts, overall, the room creating was fun! But I’m done with Webkinz today (I think). Ha ha! I still have NEXT, but I need to do RL items, too.

Moms – I only got one of the pink garden chairs. I will still use it, but I decided to use the Victorian benches in my Garden Party room. It looks nice!

I’ve come to share some news about my health issues.
I’m still trying to absorb the news..I thought my eye was bad enough. I really must have been a horrible person in a past life..
Yesterday I had the MRI. I knew something was wrong by the way the guys doing it were so chirpy happy at first and after the smiles weren’t reaching their eyes..I could see they were hoping I wouldn’t ask questions..I usually do..this time I didnt. I was up all night waiting for the results to hit MyChart, which sends me a text to let me know the results are back and I can actually access them.
No text. At lunch time my doctor called me, when I saw his number I took a deep breath and answered. I said hey doc, go ahead and hit me and don’t sugar coat it ok? Silence for a couple seconds..lol he says ok, they found a tumor on your penal (sp?) Gland, and a possible lesion close by.
I honestly didnt know what the penal glad was or does, and he said he wasnt up on it either but that it has something to do with melatonin. He promised to read up on it so he can talk in depth with me. But he also told me he’s sending me to a neurosurgeon a.s.a.p.
I’ve immerssed myself in medical reading all day. Let’s just say,it answered a lot of what I’m going through. The insomnia, feeling exhausted all the time as though sleep deprived. The body tremors. Muscle weakness, intestinal issues, unable to walk for long, losing appetite, weight loss. Etc.etc. seems the ONLY symptom I don’t have is headaches!!
So there it is in a nutshell..and I won’t know more till I see the surgeon.
Usually this can be taken care of with surgery. And they usually are NOT cancerous. But because of how fast this came on that worry is there too. I’ve had a couple other MRI s and this was not there before. But I’m not gonna worry about that unless I have to..
I’m not even shocked. I know myself, and I knew this wasnt going to be good. It is what it is.
Both of the guys were so supportive, they knew something was really wrong as they get to see how its affecting me. But theyboth told me not to worry. And they will both work together to get me through this. They said without me they both be dead..and they are so thankful I took care of them. Now its their turn. To take care of me.
They have been wonderful doing all the stuff I can’t right now!! And even though a lot of people think it’s weird that we 3 live together, I’m thankful we have each other..and at this point in our lives I’m happy to keep things the way they are.
We’ve made it work for us. Andthough our families weren’t happy about it at first..over the years they’ve learned to accept it and not let it bother them.
Sorry to dump this on Webkinz day..don’t be sad for me. Just keep those prayers coming please..and I’ll get through this too.
Thank you all for being here when I need to talk..right now I’m not sharing this with my family, just the guys and my 2 closest friends. I will tell the family when I need to. And not before no need to get them worried.

I’m in NEXT right now, and got some more free flowers! So far tonight I got purple lilies and white phlox. I noticed if you stand in a spot without moving for a couple mins they seem to pop up close by. It pretty random, I havent found a pattern yet. And I at least get 2 or 3 each time I’m in.
I went to the meet and greet. Total waste of my time honestly. Never really answered any questions, and people were rude just typing stupid stuff over and over making it hard for the hosts to say much. And there was no prizes given either. At least I didnt see any.
I did get some new free prizes from the floating W ..a pasta pot you can put on stove, and yellow potted tulips, and a strawberry milkshake.
I had a lot of the flowers. And some of them I sold as some gave good money and I needed to sell stuff to get a rare. Lol
Anyone else have any tips for NEXT??

And Dee, I’m not a big bird watcher, but last year we put a feeder out under the window my kitty sits in..and my gosh it’s been so active!! Piggy LOVES watching the birdies..and he calls to me to come watch sometimes..so I’ve seen quite a few.. we’ve got wood peckers. Starlings, Robin’s, cardinals, sparrows tons of those!! But I’ve never seen Orioles here, had them at my last house. I’ve got a bird guide…somewhere..but can’t remember where lol
I miss seeing hummingbirds..I put out feeders and have a butterfly bush..but all I get is butterflies and hummingbirds moths..those are a little creepy..

Thanks, Amy, for posting all those codes together. Dee had posted two yesterday (Happy2022 & Day2022) and I wondered if there was a code that said “Webkinz2022” and sure enough there was! And then there was a fourth! A lot of logging on and off to get in all the codes! I wish there was a bit more time before they expire. It is so hard to get information! I had NO clue about the cart outside the Cafe until someone mentioned it! How do people know who play and don’t have supportive Webkinz groups? I guess they have to check WebkinzNewz, but it is sometimes easy to miss things there, too.

I have bought several NEXT plush pets in the past several months but not adopted them yet. Regretting that I didn’t buy the pig. Sigh! Waiting for a rainy day to adopt them, I guess. I was hoping to give one to my granddaughter (I gave her the unicorn plush initially), but her interest seems to be waning (mostly because it is so expensive to play). SO, I am telling you this, because I felt that I just couldn’t bring myself to spend more money yesterday, even though I prefer classic. I may regret missing the deals. The NEXT plushies are cute, but too big for storing/displaying, in my opinion. I love the classic plushies, but I’m at the point of preferring virtual pets now. Can’t believe that I’m saying that!
When first introduced to Webkinz the only way I would have been open to it was to buy a plush pet in person. I thought it was crazy to spend money on virtual items. It reminded me of the story of the Emperor’s new clothes. 17 years later, I am now sold on the idea of buying virtual items for entertainment. Can anyone else relate?

The wildlife preserve was busy with all sorts of birds this morning. Loved seeing all of the babies.
chant- Ditto to what everyone already said. We are all here for whatever you need. Keeping you in thoughts and prayers. You sound like a very strong person, so there is no doubt you will face this head on and come out on the other side even stronger.
QoS- I saw the Next codes on newz, and I think I saw the park cart info when I logged in to next when the announcements pop up. I completely agree on the plush then versus virtual now. I just do not need more “stuff” at this point. If the Next pets were virtual, I would have bought more. I wish there was an option on those to not have them send the plush. Save up you diamonds so when you adopt all of those you can spark some babies. Some are so cute, but it takes so long to save for them, I have only made 2.

Beginning of the month always brings so many new activities in WW ! They have added the flower collection for the month… and the piano job required so I guess we’ll have to be more attentive to the time of the job availability..
Himself arrived home safely yesterday and anxious to see him today !
moms.. my biopsy is scheduled for a week from tomorrow… but I am not too worried yet ! I am definitely a terrible patient … but am more worried about my scheduled haircut at the end of that week… since the biopsy site is on the back of my head… and was told I will have a couple of stitches… we’ll see.
dee… noticed a bumper sticker yesterday… It read REEL GIRLS FISH !… made me laugh out loud and think of you !
sheba..I prefer virtual shopping as well but worry about the future and hope that WW lasts as long as I do ! So much invested in the game but wouldn’t change a thing.. Has always been my entertainment over the years and I can of worse things to do with my money..

gaga-Sadly no, they only award diamonds in Next on the weekly login, and through challenges. This is why it takes so long to spark babies unless you purchase. The Season Pass helps now that they have some on there as a reward. But you figure to buy a new pet, then spark ONE baby would be 230 diamonds. I was hoping they would have had some sort of deal on them for webkinz day, but no such luck.

hey all
sunny and windy today
but loving not having heat or a/c on
i think this has been our longest stretch without it
and boy my electric bill shows it!
i think i turned it off in march sometime……….
last months bill was 65 dollars!
