   Good Morning All !

   moms.. sounds like you had a long and busy day ! Know that story well and I have said it a few times myself ! My mom has become increasing confused but I guess pleasantly so… It is hard not to chuckle at some of things she is coming up with…She has not been able to figure out her phone nor can she answer it when I call… but received a call yesterday afternoon from her after she shooed my out in the morning to “catch the bus ” ! I asked her how she was able to call but I heard a voice in the background from the hospice nurse who had stopped in to see her and she dialed my up… It is very comforting to know that the nurse pops in to check on my mom… First care conference is set up for next week and have started a list of a few concerns… Hopefully all 6 of us will be able to join in either remotely or in person.

   Love the new tiles and plushies.. seems to be few and far between though… but I guess we have quite a bit of time to collect them.. Lots of peanut butter ice cream cones !

   I was able to stop in the cafeteria yesterday for lunch with coworkers/Dr. and it was really nice to catch up with everyone !
   Offered to take himself out for lunch while he is home but he does not do dine in !! He has remained overly cautious… but I get it… so we will do OG take out and visit.

   dee.. Are you OK ? Out fishing ? I made tater tot casserole this morning and will have it for dinner…

   Sheba… Still learning about NEXT… although I don’t spend a lot of time there.
   I did create a baby however I cannot get it to go to the bouncy balls in the park … Any ideas ?? The two options are play with baby which only goes to the crib…. or send to Daycare but not sure what that means !

   Have a nice day everyone… Our weather continues to be in the 50’s… so I am really hoping our snow days are over !

   dee. thank you for the info ! As with most things even NEXT wants its players to become almost Deluxe and buy some kind of jewels… Don’t spend much time on the site … but check in there almost daily… Much prefer Classic…

   Good afternoon!

   Gaga – to answer your NEXT question….
   You need a stroller to take the baby to the play in the balls in the park. If you put the baby in daycare you won’t be able to do that. Once you get a stroller your adult pet goes over to get the stroller and something pops up to let you choose which baby. In my case, I only have one. Then I click on the park and stroll the baby to the ball pit by touching the edges with stroller. Baby hops out into the balls. When playtime is up you tap on the stroller and the baby hops in. What I can’t figure out is that sometime the adult jumps away from the stroller and sometimes the stroller disappears. If you touch the stroller icon that shows the heart level down below it connects again. Anyway, I hope that helps!

   I am glad that we have time to collect those prizes.

   Looking forward to the wig!

   Gaga – I hope the conference regarding your mother goes smoothly.

   Oh, Gaga, I forgot to tell you that when you go back to your room with the crib you touch the stroller icon on adult pet heart icon and the baby pops back into the crib. It took me a while to figure all of this out, but maybe it is more intuitive to others.

   Dee – Never heard of cream cheese cookies although I have had cream cheese brownies before. I’ve been tempted to make oatmeal chocolate chip cookies recently and one of these days I’m going to do it.

   Moms – I can’t believe that despite how busy you are faithful with regular updates! Thank you! Sounds like a lot going on with your mom!

   I have baby girl here and I’m training her to take a nap without being held. Yep! It hasn’t been too bad. She cries and/or fusses for about 10 minutes but then she falls off to sleep. I think that we held her longer than we should have because she is absolutely adorable. ♥

   In classic I’ve been working on a new St. Patrick’s Day room and also my new Victorian Garden which is still under a lot of construction (meaning that I haven’t had time for it). I’m also starting a froggy garden area with the new exclusive giant lily pad. That one will probably take a while.

    hi all!

    i hope to still see the leprechaun a couple of times tomorrow on a couple of accounts, but all in all, i got some seeds & am happy for it!

    sorry i’ve been so mia – the floors are finished, and i will go tomorrow to help her put things back where they go

    i took the kitty back & helped her a bit this evening, but she was confused and off balance, so it was food & bed for her – she is so worn out after the weekend & now this, hate seeing her exhausted & what it does to her physically & mentally . . .

    Good Morning and Happy Saint Patrick’s Day !

    moms.. so sorry that both you and your mom are going through some rough times…thoughts are with you.. I know how distressing physical and mental changes are.. My moms confusion has really progressed and had new onset of seizure activity yesterday….Thankfully my brother and I were there together and my mom was not alone..Her nurse witnessed the second one and notified the NP and hospice nurse… She reported back that there is an order for something should she have another seizure… My poor brother was really shaken up by the episode. We’ll see what today brings…………….

    Sheba… thank you for the info on the stroller ! I have one baby too and couldn’t figure out how to get it to the playground ! I am terrible at the Cake it Up game.. so letting that one go !

    Yesterday was such a beautiful day here . It was warm and sunny and today predicted to be a carbon copy… Perfect day for the parade… which has been cancelled the past two years… I am not planning on going but am happy that it is a nice day for everyone who goes downtown !

    dee.. Made Tater Tot casserole yesterday… I was kind of disappointed … don’t think I will be making it again but glad to have tried it.

    gaga – so sorry for what you are going through with your mom and SO thankful you have hospice care for her – that was such a blessing with each of my grandparents to focus on their comfort . . .

    also sorry the tater tot casserole wasn’t “all that” – if i bother to cook & don’t like it, it reinforces not wanting to cook 😉

    We made ruben’s for dinner this past weekend and will have a traditional Corned Beef dinner this weekend.

    gaga and moms—I’m so sorry to hear what you both are going through with your moms. I know how draining it is both mentally and physically. I hope you both can get some rest and are taking care of yourselves.

    I too am slowly figuring out Next. Took me forever to realize you needed a stroller for the park too. I just sparked a new baby, so I have two now. But only one baby seems to ask for things. Don’t know why the new baby doesn’t. It’s ready to ‘grow up’ but not sure if I want to do that or not. I got sucked in by the Seasons challenge and now I’m playing it every day.

    Miss Stella wishes everyone a Happy St. Patrick’s day!!! She’s tired from the morning squirrel patrol now that it’s nice outside. 🙂

    Good Morning All !

    No St. Paddy’s celebration yesterday for me but did wear some green ! Weather here is beautiful… Sat with my mom most of the day… they are keeping her heavily medicated at this point…but seemed comfortable when I left..

    moms.. really sorry you are struggling with your mom.. it is really difficult I am sure… Thoughts are with you ! ( heart )

    April… So nice to see you and hear about Stella ! Love the picture and thanks for posting one… I think the Cadbury Contest ends at the end of March and yes Annie Rose is darling.. Hope she wins ! Don’t know if you are following sports news but so much drama right now with the Browns…. I feel terrible for Baker.. I would be upset to and demand to be traded ! They let Austin Hooper go too… and he was one of my favorites… Can’t believe anyone would purse the Texas QB with all his shenanigans !

    Sheba.. Do you play the Cake it Up game… so frustrating ! It seems like the NEXT arcade challenges are too unobtainable….

    Trying to get together with himself before he heads back to OSU on Sunday..
    Friends and family trying to close up his home completely.. It has been such a process … and I know he feels very badly about leaving his home..
    He still will not sit in a restaurant because of Covid concerns … so we are trying to work something out. He visited my mom and I noticed he was double masked !

    Baby girl wanted to be held yesterday, so that’s what grandma did.

    Trying to stay caught up with Classic and Next at the same time feels like overtime. I was so glad to be ahead of the game with the leprechaun because yesterday I did not have much of an opportunity to play either. I was able to go to the Farmer’s market, though, which is a great way to earn $ on NEXT. I missed one day earlier this week and lost out!

    Re: Next
    1) I may keep my baby a baby in case the next season wants me to do something with a baby.
    2) Cake it Up game – When it first came out I scored 120 points, but for the life of me I can seem to get past 40 points now. Sigh!
    3) Polar Plunge – Can’t get to 4,000. My highest score is a little over 3,000 and that was done a while ago. Can’t seem to get past 1,000 now!
    4) Triple Strike Solitaire – With some concentration and luck I made that goal.

    Gaga – Hope you get to spend some time with your nephew before he heads back. Just curious about the double masking…does he have health concerns, or do you think it because of what happened to his dad? I can’t imagine having to close up a house that one calls home! I’m sure it will take some time to heal from all of this!

    I didn’t do a special dinner for St. Patrick’s Day. I often do. But I did buy a lime green bundt cake from Kroger for the occasion. It was and is delicious!

    Annie Rose is cute! I wanted to vote, but didn’t want to enter all my private info. (I first typed April Rose! LOL!) Thinking of our April here, I guess! 😉

    I don’t follow the sports stuff….I hear my dh & sons talking a lot about baseball now.

    And speaking of tater tots….I did pick up some the other day. I doubt I will make a casserole, but kinda’ in the mood for them.

    moms—Sorry for the potty mouth! Ugh, I think it was a combo of a work deadline, trying to get the house ready to do some upgrades to the kitchen and I just didn’t have time to wait around for the little green guy. All good, worth it to me to spend the points and move on with my day. I hope you got some rest yesterday.

    gaga—I have been following the drama with the Browns. I feel for Baker too. Totally disrespectful after Baker battled and played through all those injuries. And all for that creep Texas QB…gross. I feel for Matt Ryan too. I didn’t know about Austin Hooper. Man, things don’t look good for the Browns right now. I hope you get some time with himself before he goes back to college. My heart goes out to him, I cannot image what he’s going through.

    sheba—Awww, more than happy to be in the same thought as Annie Rose. 🙂 Totally agree, trying to keep up with Classic and Next is so difficult. I pick and choose what gives me the most joy and go with that. I love the Farmer’s Market days too. It seems the only way to earn decent money because I’m bad at most of the games. Congrats on the solitaire game! The only Seasons Challenges regarding the arcade games I can do are the only where you can play multiple times to earn the points. The best I’ve done on Cake It Up is 50 points. No way I’ll get to 100 points in one game to meet the challenge. I decided to grow baby 1 up. I didn’t realize it goes to a ‘kid’ next and then you grow them up to an adult. So I have 1 kid and 1 baby. Good call on not doing anything with them in case we need to with the challenges.

    ditto on the TX guy – so mad at the Falcons – apparently it was down to us or NOLA taking him, but now its the Browns . . . i am glad he doesn’t seem to be coming to Atlanta – can’t say that i blame him either . . .

    i hope Matt Ryan has a great season to show everyone that his integrity is worth it, although i have said for a few years that i just don’t know if he has it in him, but i believe the main problem is the organization & decisions being made that impact him significantly – the Falcons front office makes no sense to me

    i tried to google my cream cheese cookie recipe, but the cookbook is so old

    how old is it?

    can not find on the net…………basically it is more a pecan pie ish cookie to me
    cream cheese, pecans and brown sugar……….if someone really wants it, i will dig out my cookbook and retype………..they smell like caramel when they are baking
