in my morning cleaning, i was emptying the dishwasher & decided to reorganize a cabinet
does everyone end up with tons of unneeded coffee mugs, or is it just us??? i often clean out mugs & donate them – not sure what to do with them . . . i need to remember to never give anyone a mug ever again, i have too many of my “favorite” mugs already – a sweet neighbor gave us hot chocolate bombs at Christmas with a mug for each of us, so i can’t even post them for free porch pick up on the buy nothing social media because she might see 😳 i’m the only one here that tends to use them at all
also, what do you do with your old real paper books??? i want to purge, but do i just donate them???

Checked in earlier this morning but it must have gone to trash…
The move went well.. Alert and pleasant when I arrived this morning…
My brother and I got her all settled in and got the room organized.. Medical supply place delivered her beautiful comfortable motorized recliner !She had more to eat for lunch than she has in two weeks combined.. ( few bites )
All seem pretty good… So happy that she can hopefully settle in.

my mom fell again last night, but she’s okay – it’s happening more often though. her NP was seeing her today, too, hoping we can adjust meds to help her worrying & manage pain better from all of her injuries – not sure if that will add to the fall risk, but she needs some relief

Baby girl was sick this morning, so I had to pick her up early at the daycare. She really didn’t seem sick to me and we had a very fun & full day together. But not much accomplished with RL work or WW “work”. 😉

moms .. Very sorry to hear that your mom fell again.. thankfully she did not injure herself ! Hopefully a change in her medication will help with her pain and relieve some of her anxiety. I hope you have a great time this weekend with your sister’s visit ! Does your mom’s facility have more restrictions if she is placed on the risk to fall list ? So many worries as our moms age..

Finished with first round of leprechaun. 11 a.m. start time and 1:39 p.m. stop time. I just have my sound turned up so that I can hear him while I’m working on my tax stuff. But wish I could get it done faster. I was forgetting that we could get him every 5 hours (according to Dee). I don’t know why but I was thinking once a day.

If anyone is wondering, I went straight to the clubhouse and didn’t do any of the dailies, with the exception of my last account which needed the grocery clerk for the challenge. I have “wasted” so much time waiting. I finally logged out of one account and started over. I was getting pet requests and I got the shamrock floaty and medallion floaty, but no leprechaun. After starting over, it only took about 7 minutes until he came. 10 accounts, which includes the ones that belong to family members & friends. I can remember the days when I could get it done within an hour or less when there was a pattern.

Okay….2nd batch wasn’t bad on first account. But I had to wait 30 minutes on 2nd account! I have the sound turned up and I’m just sitting here at my desk working on paperwork! (Or documents on my PC). Now I’ve been on 10 minutes for the 3rd account.
Dee, do you always go to the same room? In the olden days, as soon as I got one coin, I’d log into the next account and jump ahead two rooms, but that obviously isn’t working this time.

Good Morning All
Happy Saturday !
Leprechaun seems very slow to appear this morning ! Waited 15 minutes and gave up… Logged out and back in again… waited about 6-7 minutes…
Few inches of snow overnight but bitter cold… wind chill in the single digits today…
dee… would hate to figure out your taxes with multiple states of residence for your dd… I always take the easy way out and have mine prepared… he just tells me what to pay… What’s cooking this weekend… Have a recipe for the tater tot casserole … will let you know if I make and if it is as good as it smelled in the nursing home. Read in the paper yesterday that our eagles have three eggs this year !
Sheba… Hopefully your comment can be retrieved and posted.. I always hate when that happens…Hope you get all your chores done ( taxes and weekend stuff ) and then enjoy some WW time !

Hope your mom was able to get changes from the NP and she can improve her pain issue. My mom was assessed by hospice yesterday.. My older sister was there to speak to the nurse and formulate a plan of care. I took the day off to get my haircut and run a few errands.

my “company” arrived last night to avoid their snow 🙂
i made them breakfast sandwiches with my fresh eggs from a friend – the best eggs i have ever had – then sent them on their way to visit my brother in law’s fam – they’ll be back this afternoon & we will go out to dinner with my mom for my sister’s birthday
we had flurries all morning, & it is windy & cold but thankfully not like where you live gaga
