   Good Morning All !

   Get Eleven Solitaire is the game of the day today !

   moms.. Humphrey looks so adorable in his lampshade ! How sweet that you made a playpen for him so he doesn’t have to be crated all day ! I think you should bring his picture forward so we can all see him again this morning !
   Search continues despite the fact that the facility my sister and I looked at yesterday seems as perfect as one can expect… I am not naive enough to think that a perfect place exists but fits my moms needs and each and every person we passed on our tour smiled and said hello ! Least involved brother who happens to be in charge of finances said we need to see more places…
   Easy for him to order me around as if I have nothing better to do… so least involved sister and least involved brother are choosing the facility… Older sister has visited my mom less than 10 times in a year despite living close to her… Having said that I will see one more which was scheduled for today and that’s it for me….I am certain by the time all is said and done I will not be speaking to either one. Sorry for the vent but I am so aggravated…

   dee. will check out your wish list and see what I can send ! Happy you were able to do some fishing and being out to enjoy a beautiful day !
   Forecasting some warmer weather here this weekend but experiencing another couple of cold days ( 20’s today )… Keep telling myself that Spring is right around the corner !

   Sheba… Enjoy your upcoming visit this weekend ! I know that getting things ready for your company is a lot of work.. time and energy ! I am sure they will have a great time and appreciate all of your efforts.

   Well, Gaga, I feel that since you do so much for your mom that your thoughts should have more weight in the matter!

   Thanks, Dee, for the birthday wishes! Dh is taking me out to lunch. We will probably go to a Mediterranean place, or perhaps Chinese (just had that thought). He has a meeting tonight so we will have my birthday dinner tomorrow when my parents & friend arrive.

   Unbelievable about the gas prices! Hey, someone told me the other day that they were able to get ground beef at Kroger for under $3 a lb. How did I miss that? The crazy prices have contributed to less of that in our diets, yet that probably is not a bad thing. But if I had known of the sale, I would have stocked up my freezer shelf!

   You have a very nice set-up for him!

   As far as the exclusives retiring….I sure wish they would give more notice. I have the items, but I need to figure out if I want to pick up more. Yet, I guess some notice is better than none at all!

   the 90 percent ground sirloin is on sale this week for 4.99 a lb

   i am picky about meat

   but as spendy as it has been, it may be our easter dinner this year!

   gaga-hope the search went okay today and hoping you all can agree on the right choice for your Mom. I imagine it’s quite frustrating with everyone’s input and opinions.

   dee-the gas jumps are pretty regular for us around here. I would gladly take that price, but I know where you are it is probably on the higher end.

   moms-that picture was adorable. How much longer does he have in the cone of shame?

   Still going through wishlists. It is forcing me to organize my dock and ww house little by little. I should have a giant giveaway, I have way too many items.

   he’s close to getting out of the cone – they said 10 days, maybe 8, tomorrow is 7, and i honestly think he’s ready but might wait for the crowd to come through tomorrow just so we don’t have any worries . . .

   gaga – i am so sad & frustrated reading your update – i want to fight for you . . . maybe if you tell them your recommendation, they will wise up – i hope you feel at peace that you are doing all you can

   busy week here, but all is well – we decided to have bbq for the spring breakers, so dh is working from home & will smoke the pork, i’m doing mac n cheese, baked beans, cole slaw, green beans (no meat for the pescatarian), & banana pudding

   i think i’m going to have egg bites (some spinach & some ham) & cinnamon rolls Saturday morning – are the egg bites going to make them too gassy for the long drive???? 😆

    Good Morning All !

    Sheba … HAPPY BIRTHDAY… belatedly… Hope you had a nice luncheon outing with your dh.. Sounds like the celebration will continue when your family arrives.

    moms.. Thanks for continuing the photo of Humphrey ! That cute little face makes me smile ! Your meal from the travelers sounds delicious ! Hope they all had a great time and a safe return to campus… won’t be long before they will all be headed home for the summer ! Had to look up what a pescatarian eats… wasn’t familiar with the term.
    Decision for placement hopefully will be decided today…All six of us received a spreadsheet with comparison of the four places visited. I will be so happy and relieved when votes are in and we can place my mom to her new “home”.
    Broke down while visiting her yesterday although I gotta say that it doesn’t take much these days to start the tears flowing….
    Himself is due home on the 11th and am very much looking forward to seeing him and visit !

    dee…. gas prices in my area were listed at 3.85 a gallon… thankfully didn’t need to fill up.. One more day of cold temperature and will be 65 tomorrow !
    May have to bring out the flip flops and shorts/t shirt !!

    Hey to ll and cmpets.. One of these day I am going to sit down and concentrate on everyone’s wish lists !

    also super big thank you to pet4mom and royalmajesty for the kinzpost!! the kinzcash is always super helpful and the whimiscal wall and flooring allowed me to finally put the room together! it looks so cute! once its finished I will post a pic

    also the rare item is on at 10 EST and is the sofreh dining table from the persian theme for 8750 KC. A LOT for just one table. I will probably be able to swing it but will need to take off from rare items for the weekend to save up ahah.

    Good Morning All !

    Today predicted to be a warm day in the 60’s !

    moms.. Hope the kids had a great spring break and overnight on their way back to campus ! I am sure you will ready for a PJ day ! No decision about placement Placed my opinion as did my brother in Georgia…. Apparently my sister scheduled an assessment with one of the facilities and they are going to today and meet my mom and do their thing… ( knew nothing about it ! ) Hope to be there for that but not sure when they are coming.

    hi all!

    happy belated birthday sheba!!! i hope it was happy & your visit is going well 🙂

    my spring breakers left earlier – i have the kitchen all cleaned up & younger ds took care of all the trash & stuff from the basement, i just need to start on the laundry now

    i made egg “bites” in muffin tins & cinnamon rolls this morning, dinner was delicious!!!! once we finished that and cleaned up, i was tired, so i just chilled out & went to sleep at a decent time

    i need to strip the beds, then hopefully will be back to catch up & play some

    i need a pj day for sure! 🙂
