   Good Morning All

   Hard to believe it is already 2-2-22 ! Spring is right around the corner.. So looking forward to some warmer weather although yesterday was sunny and almost 60 !

   If anyone has followed the career of Nightbirde… the inspirational woman who was Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer passed away yesterday at the age of 31.
   Not sure why but she touched my heart and I feel so bad that she died… Have been following her story since her appearance on AGT… She had a beautiful voice and a positive outlook despite her illness.

   moms CLE is getting the weather you had yesterday.. supposed to get up to 2 inches of rain today… Planning on dodging the raindrops to do some grilling and fix my brother and I dinner tonight… Tomorrow the Spring Mystery bags are being featured on Deluxe Wednesday…Wonder what they have in store.

   Happy 2-22-22 Tuesday!

   2’s seem to be significant in my life, so I have been looking forward to this one. 🙂

   Finally had time to do a little catching up in WW. I was having issues on my computer with the app. Ended up having to clear the cache, delete and re-download it. As computer savvy as I am, that was the first time I had to go find the cache files and clear them, so I guess now I know. And do not get me started on the next app-it gets stuck frequently if I use it on my computer. And the amount of energy it takes is crazy. My computer is new and well equipped, and it still overheats using that app.

   sheba, I think you said it was quitting on you on the iPad. That also happens to me. Really wish they had put more into it if they are planning on trying to get people to like that version. Not impressed at all. I do love your letter idea. Wish I had done more of that type of stuff with my own kiddo., maybe if and when she has kids… Glad you are feeling better.

   gaga-we are having cooler weather and maybe rain (?) as well here today. I saw that story as well. Did not follow her closely either, but sad to hear.

   nick – will start sending plushies today.

   dee – is that really all you need on your with list? Pretty sure I have an extra mop and dish, will send them.

    Happy 2222 day everyone!!

    Finally got back from my lovely weekend with my boyfriend, it was a much needed getaway. We ended up seeing two concerts in providence; Dua Lipa and Marina and Diamonds, and both were absolutely stellar!!

    Thank you SO much cmpets for the gift! I am already down to 25 plushies left on my wishlist!! I truly cannot believe how much of a blessing yall have been, thank you all again so much for all your generous gifts. This was a collection I started when I began playing in 2009 so its amazing to see how far its come! I have to figure out how to post a picture on the blog so I can show yall my awesome collection!

    As the saying goes, back to reality this week ahah. Already looking forward to the next time we get together in mid-late March <3

    Wooo, we have been SO SICK. Whatever cold Kiddo and I were fighting turned into something a bit more intense than a mild little cold. Husband and I were both knocked down for three good days with chills, slight fever, sweating, aches and headache, congestion, the works. I’m just starting to feel mostly back to normal, and husband it about a day behind me. Kiddo is rocking out- he’s been great since Friday LOL.

    Finally got on to see the ‘Kinz this morning. I LOVE the Tie Dye thing!! Everyone in my family is ROCKING out rainbow dresses and wigs! XD

    Kiddo has been asking about Minecraft, and I got a book from the library- Minecraft for Beginners (I’m a NERD), and we decided to buy the game for him. WOW, it is fun! I can really see some potential benefits- forethought, planning, problem solving, self-direction, creativity… I’m interested to see how other parts of the game work for him!

    momskinz- we got the tickets back in july! i completely forgot about them until this month ahah! we definitely didnt have the best seats, we were in the nosebleeds, but still had a pretty nice view!

    But – I had something weird happen today for me on Classic! I made a DIY purple carpet and placed it in my room, yet I cannot see it. But I also cannot place another carpet in the area of the placement of purple carpet. It is totally invisible. Arrrggghh…. I logged off & on again, but no difference. I’m on a different device now, so I may try to go to that account again and see if it is still troublesome.

    Moms, its ok..it was a LOT to take in I’m sure. I just wanted to make sure you got it. I wasn’t in a good place. But I wanted you to know why i haven’t been around. I’m still reeling..but I’m hanging in there..!
    It’s also been amazing watching the guys losing weight and working out in the garage again.! I’m proud of them both.not only that but now that they eat such tiny meals and healthier, I don’t eat bad either! I’m down over 20 pounds myself!

    I love the time dye clothing! Was able to get at least 2 of each piece! I like the new boutique theme..and the first day. That the boutique shoe box was put in the prize pool, I got 1!!
    So that was a nice surprise. And the shoe displays are cute. Glad the challenge was easy!

    Only thing I missed was the deluxe day wallpaper the ice floe one..if anyone has an extra I would love one! I still can’t believe I missed it..not sure why I didnt log in that day.lol

    I gave in and tried the new webkinz..its ok..not a lot to do.
    Also, I was able to send the red hat display to my webkinz classic, not sure if anyone knew you could or not.
    All I know is I’m not putting money into it. I put too much into the classic as it is lol.

    But it does have the potential to be fun eventually.

    Dee – I haven’t been able to find kitty’s favorite canned food since last fall. He likes the hill science wet food but my local petsmart has only had the same few flavors for months. I even tried a petsmart in MI when I visited my parents for christmas and they had the same few flavors. Thankfully he likes one of the flavors they regularly have, but it comes in the small cans that cost almost as much as the large cans that I used to buy him. The hills food is so expensive!

    Hello-

    Interesting about the pet food. My dog passed away a few years ago, but he at a very specific food as well, so can”t imagine what we would have done if we couldn’t find it. We used chewy.com, it was great to get the HUGE bag delivered right to my door. Glad you all ae at least able to find a food that works.

    nick- sent more plushies, hopefully those are the correct versions. I think I have a couple more from your list.

    dee – sending mop/bucket and casserole dish as soon as I am done typing this.

    moms.. I think I had mentioned that my brother came up from Georgia for a brief visit… He has stopped in to visit my mom a couple of times and apparently she did not even know him ! He said she kept calling him doctor !
    He showed her a picture of his chocolate lab and she remembered that ” her son ” has one and she felt they were waiting too long to put the dog to sleep…Funny how she remembered his dog but did not recognize him..
    I walked into the facility yesterday to sign in.. Was told to put an N95 mask on… Have always worn a medical mask but apparently new Covid case at the home so they are ramping up their restrictions….My brother called last evening from the facility and was required to wear safety glasses when he signed in… Will be meeting with social worker most likely today to discuss discharge plan !!!

    Kinzgram… Getting a diploma from the Academy is impossible… Have been trying since 2007 and still need Strength and Running classes to complete my pet’s “education ” … I still try the classes occasionally but am not so obsessed about it.

    gaga- no new pet. It was so hard, and with dd off to college, we are enjoying no “responsibilities” for now. I honestly have no desire to ever get another pet, but that may change in the far off future. Hope the meeting goes well for your mom to be discharged.     The world is such a mess today. Trying to stay updated without being overwhelmed by all of the craziness going on. In the meantime, go get gas in your cars if you can, it is sure to take a price hike, and it is already almost $5 here, so dh went first thing this morning.

    Cmpets – That is how I feel about pets now. Not in a hurry to get another one. When our cat died Thanksgiving of 2020 that was it for me. She was precious….I love cats….but I’m allergic to them and I’m appreciating the lack of sniffles and itchy eyes.

    Gaga – I bet that was hard for your brother not to be recognized by his own mom!

    Bought an inexpensive umbrella stroller yesterday before picking up baby girl at daycare! I had to assemble it, but she played nicely while waiting. It was a beautiful spring day yesterday and she enjoys the outdoors! But now, it is winter again. Brrr…..

    I haven’t made any DIY tie-dye clothing on my account yet. But on my daughter’s account she has gotten at least one of everything, with the exception of the rare wig & uncommon dress. But I’m sure that one will show up. We have four more days to go.

    And yes, completing Kinzville Academy is impossible!
    I was wondering yesterday how strength would work with touchscreen. I tried it and it was “touch and go”…but I might practice with it a bit and see if I can make any progress. Stuck at level 8, I believe on the strength class. Yet, I sometimes fail at lower levels.

    I seriously wish we had a glitch so that I could finish strength (or ultimately, a fix). Perhaps Ganz was hoping that by issuing diplomas & graduation gowns in another way that we would all be pacified, but I feel driven to check it off of my list of achievements. “My pets” don’t feel that they have graduated without seeing level 10 completed in every category.

    i agree with supplying ourselves without stockpiling . . .

    you know i try to stay away from political/controversial discussions on here, so i’m just going to say what i need to say to feel peace . . . i feel like Florida, Texas, AND Russia all started wars this week . . . if you disagree, no debates please, but just know that the world news this week is taking a toll on people, and those of us who are tender right now need kindness and compassion and humor and distraction – one more example of why i am SO thankful for this place! it’s a safe place to escape & yet be “seen” ??? does that make sense – love you all (even if you are gay in Florida or trans in Texas, or anyone anywhere except Putin – anyone but Putin – nope, sorry, no love for him)

    gaga – i picked my mother up today, and her shirt was on backwards – we laughed so hard at that one!

    what plan have you & your siblings got for next steps for your mom???

    i am so sorry you are dealing with this, i’m sort of glad your brother got to see for himself what you see daily, but that has to be heartbreaking for him as well – it’s all so hard, i hope you find a reason to laugh today, too, friend

    For those who responded about the squishmallows – they’re super soft/squishly stuffed animals that are shaped kind of like marshmallows. Each one has their own name and back story. No online component like webkinz, but very cute! I bought a longhorn cow one yesterday.

    Momz- I appreciate your comments on Texas and Florida. As someone going into education who is part of that community, it is deeply upsetting. I’ve been closely watching the bills Indiana is coming up with and it seems that certain groups are trying to start wars with education in general. Stuff like this is making me carefully consider where I want to work in the future.

    choco – it’s definitely something to be aware of going into education & anyone really who is a mandatory reporter – even volunteering at a school, you typically have to sign off that you are now legally a mandatory reporter – i really admire anyone going into education right now – even before this specific situation – the world needs people like you choco, and you are doing a great thing, i only wish you could be appropriately compensated & appreciated for it ?

    i bought ds a squishmallow last year for Easter or Valentines or something – it’s one of the really big ones, and it’s wonderful! i almost bought myself an Eeyore one after that 😆
