Valentine Collection Boutique
I was not thrilled with the Valentine Collection Items this year, but I did use them to make a Boutique that I like. How is everyone else doing decorating with these boutique pieces?

moms.. received some codes yesterday.. Have not logged them in yet but thanks for sending.. Trying to stay calm and carry on… So aggravated with so many things ! I guess that is the way of the world. Had lunch in the cafeteria yesterday with friends.. catching up with what I’m missing !
dee.. Hey… what’s cooking ? Finally found some spaghetti sauce which has been so difficult to find… Hope to make spaghetti this weekend… Would not make it for just one…

i had thought about using those boutique counters and creating a jewelry store
or using the displays as wells to divide like a department store with areas for jewelry, shoes, cosmetics, handbags, & clothing

leftovers today………….gonna grill some burgers this weekend with po salad and cole slaw etc…………….dh is making chicken wings

i was having a heck of a time finding the stuff i wanted and did an order at walmart.com
pretty neat as i got everything i wanted and some stuff i had given up on finding in stores……….and it showed up two days later
AND i did not have to deal with going to walmart.
ours nearby are pretty much the ones you see in them walmart bingo games

Good Morning All !
dee… Thank you so much for the Groundhog Contest and the very nice prizes I received ! That was fun and so generous of you ! ♥ I had been looking for the Prego Traditional Spaghetti sauce for literally a month…Had a few jars of the random sauces but thankfully found it Meijer’s … Don’t normally do my food shopping except for DD coffee… Love the wig display idea too ! You should submit your idea and see what happens !
moms.. thank you for facilitating dee’s contest ! We all appreciate the additional time it takes to deliver all of the great prizes ! Noticed a change in color and increased pain in my mom’s surgical extremity… Notified her nurse and asked her to please call the doctor… A couple of hours later he arrived and is concerned with a blood clot … Ordered a duplex scan but things move so slowly in a skilled facility that he wasn’t sure when the test could be done.
He did however order a different pain medication which I have been asking for since her admission to the facility almost 10 days ago….As of last night it had not been dispensed from the pharmacy….I know all of them think I am Nurse Crachet but I don’t really care… I feel I am looking out for my mom’s best interest and her biggest advocate.. There is no continuity of care… Lots of Agency people … seems like a different person giving care ?? everyday.
My poor mom looks terrible and just wants to go Home. Will see what today brings.

moms.. I was pulling for Shaun White too…but was happy for the snowboarder Chloe…who had won two Gold medals and said to a reporter that she need 2-3 business days to process her win ! I tried to You Tube any sneak peaks of the Budweiser Super Bowl commercials … anxious to see if they will be using Dalmatian as they had in the past…..looks like they will be featuring a little newborn filly for this year’s commercial.
Rapunzel is getting her hair cut and colored today…. really needs it… maybe that will help improve my mood !

dee- thanks for the tips on the game. I figured out I was letting the bar go too far up, which resets it. So I finally completed my first strength class ever. Also very nice of you to host the contest. It was my anniversary, I picked it by the date 2-2-02. 🙂
sheba- I love your room. Mine is similar, Still need to add a few touches. I have several rooms I need to finish, but with limited time to spend in ww, not sure that will ever happen. 

moms- I was hoping he would medal as well, and I am sure he would have loved to have ended on a good run instead of a fall, but he is synonymous with snowboarding and has done so much for the sport, he is a true legend. Fun Fact, I briefly met him years ago in Vegas.
gaga- Your Mom is so lucky to have you advocating for her, so many don’t. I do hope they get that scan done quickly, and the new meds help with the pain. It is so difficult to watch someone you care about in pain.

gaga – so sorry about her care, but it’s good she has an advocate – i always feel for the people that do not have someone who knows to speak up – you know how it can be for the staff – take them some valentines candy & they’ll all give her special treatment & realize what a loving person you are 😀 as a matter of fact, i need to take my own advice & come up with a valentine idea for the staff at my mom’s place. she is giving them h-e-double hockey sticks on a regular basis
i hope you get the scan & results soon! this kind of fall takes such a toll at her age, and i know it’s difficult for you

moms- Could not agree more, I want them to make all of those pets. Can’t even decide which one to vote for.
And estore has a bundle with the Love Puppy, is this the first time since it’s retirement they have brought it back? It’s pricey though.
Still debating on whether I want the panda for next and how much effort I want to put into that site.

moms .. good idea to get some treats for the girls at the facility ! I guess sometimes it is best to ” kill em with kindness”… I know they are stretched very thin… and are doing the best they can…
Results in. I was fortunate to be there when the doctor came today… He was very attentive today and listened to all of my concerns … which were quite a few
My mom has a clot from her groin down to her knee. He started her on a blood thinner.. an additional medication for the leg pain and addressed all of my other concerns… Felt like I was heard today…. loud and clear ! My mom looked better today than yesterday… I helped the aide get her changed and up in a chair for lunch.. She actually ate a bit … was alert and talkative ! What a difference a day makes.. She actually asked me to leave so she could close her eyes and rest.. I was happy to do so as I spent a good portion of the day with her yesterday…. she is sick of looking at me ! ( despite my new cut and color ! LOL ) I too feel so much better after seeing her looking so much better today !
cmpets… Back in the day when I was first introduced to WW… I bought the Love Puppy I think on e bay… I paid more than I should have but I really wanted it… I name her Hard to Find ! and it is one of my sentimental favorites ..
