Good Morning !
dee.. good morning … thanks for putting up the filler ! Unbelievable about the plate renewal price… Noticed mine had gone up from last year… and OH now only requires the back plate…Not only are prices up but one plate !
Making spaghetti for lunch… Could not find sausage links are normally grill to throw in the sauce… I guess it is too cold to grill anyway… BUT I do need to run to the store to pick up a few items I forgot yesterday and will check … I really do like grilled sausage ( on the side ) so we’ll see.
moms… I am really happy with the outcomes of both games yesterday ! Sorry dee…. Pulling for the OH team ! Undecided about today… Really like KC but they recently won the Super bowl… so I may cheer for the Bills.
Himself’s kitty was moved yesterday to her new home.. According to my sister… transfer was uneventful.. I so hope she settles in for the remainder of her life ! ( ? the first of 9 ??).. He called last night and asked if I would mind picking him up on Friday… As I mentioned before I love spending one on one time with him…Just praying for good weather…

When I was searching for another car used prices were just beginning to go up. I got lucky with the car I was able to find and for the price. The supply for used cars is low because new cars are having supply issues, therefore people aren’t trading in their used cars for new cars as much right now. I am noticing the same problem with housing prices here too now. I think the cost of lumber has gone up which is making new home builds more expensive to buy. Now is not the time to be buying cars or houses.

nothing that we want in our price range……….and we are not picky people.
i want running water and electricity and internet……….

ll – lumber prices skyrocketed but are back down a little, but every other material still seems to be climbing – construction costs are way way up & delivery of materials is taking longer . . .
same with furniture too . . .

Dee- I’ve been apartment searching for almost a year now and it’s just getting worse and worse for places in my price range. Makes me wish I would have bought something right away but I just didn’t have a enough of a feel of what was out there yet.

LL – Sorry about the difficulty with apartment searches! Things are so ridiculously high it seems.
Speaking of gouging….Our house was assessed at a ridiculously high amount! No one would pay that much for it…because it isn’t worth that much.
Platynick – I sent you three items to sell for money (or keep) since I didn’t have what you were looking for. I wasn’t sure about which blue cooler.
I have three different blue coolers in my Webkinz house. Maybe I said that in another post. I’ve had so much trouble posting lately….I’ve lost many posts and I think it is something on my end.

My husband is routing for the Bills.

Moms, Deerly Beloved is really cute! A bit “much” but it’s made just for this pet! If you wanted something shorter, a “Hart” is an old English name for a stag. Valentina is very elegant too.
I LOVE naming my pets. I go big or go home when it comes to names. I research languages native to where the animal hails from geographically (Signature Panda is named Xu Ziong, meaning “Bamboo Bear” in Chinese, my spotted seal is named Siku, an Inuit name meaning “Ice”) if applicable. My moon fox (thank you Secret Santakinz!!) is named Kettuku, literally “Moon Fox” in Finnish. My Manatee is names Zane, which means “Ocean Friend” in Hawai’ian.

Nothing big on the menu this week here. Boiled dinner, burgers and ‘tots, and comforting chicken and rice and caesar salad.
I’m learning a Vivaldi piece in violin class currently. Next month starts my 3rd year of violin classes, and I still love it so hard! As if helping me fund a new intermediate level violin wasn’t already more than enough, for my birthday next month, my dad called my music school and paid ahead of time for a YEAR’S worth of lessons!! O.O I’m in grateful disbelief.

moms.. love the name you chose for your deer ! The PSI is really cute as is the PSF it comes with… Not sure about the new Koala .. kinda bland.. but we’ll see.
Bitter cold again today and 4-5 inches of additional snow yesterday… Had to go to three stores to get my mom’s wine for the week…AAGGG ! Not a big fan of driving around in a snowstorm in search of wine ! She was appreciative though.
LOL !!! Seems like all the big teams were knocked out of the playoffs yesterday !
dee.. listened to the link for Raul… He does have a nice voice.. Sounds like you had a busy cleaning day yesterday ! Wonder if dh noticed when he returned home !

go figure flowiing beat me to the name! she also had culvers long before me 😉 i wonder what that young lady is up to these days – she & naki were so sassy – i’m still in touch with my naki girl ♥ she has a good life – makes me very proud!
puma – a lot of my names are researched & steeped in meaning as well, but i do have a few silly names
gaga – i don’t expect to ever live somewhere that we would ever expect “4-5 inches of additional snow” – ADDITIONAL!?! ds has a little dusting of snow on the ground, but his climate is milder than yours! all 4 games were SO entertaining this weekend! it was fun to watch for me – i love good football, and i’m not too hung up on any certain teams

Brrr…it’s cold! I just put on a pair of warm, cozy socks that I got for Christmas. But just because they have snowflakes on them does not mean that I want more snow!
Gaga – I think the Koala is cute, but I think the coloring is off. I can’t imagine what furniture I would use to match the Koala PSI. Love the valentine fawn.
As far as next….my baby became a kid last night! And the crib disappeared! I had two more growth requirements to meet to finish a challenge and I was wishing that I had kept her a kid. But after playing a bit, I noticed that the challenge was complete. A bit confused, but glad at the same time. I only have three pets on my Next account compared to some of my Next friends who seem to have jillions.
Thanks for reminder about codes, Dee. I’ve done some of my accounts, but I have one or two more to go. About the carpet….I would want to shop in person for that, too.

Speaking of Christmas, I just came across a Christmas lighthouse ornament that I bought when we visited St. Simon’s Island last summer. So….in 11 more months I will get to see it on my tree! 😉 But since I feel that I missed out this year, I’m going to leave it on my desk for awhile. 😉

About my day yesterday….it started out rough! Even though I went to bed earlier than usual, I did not feel rested when I got up. I was so afraid that I would go back to sleep and miss my classes. Sigh! Got up and then dealt with the frustration of the hatch of my mini-van not wanting to open. I’ve been dealing with this for a LONG time, but maybe the extreme cold for our area is making it act up more. It took me a long time to load all my crates with classroom supplies (6 of them, plus a table, backpack and a vacuum cleaner). And I hate to admit, the tears flowed….
Meanwhile, my son from overseas wondered if it was a good time to do a video chat with my baby grandson. LOL! At first I said no. I was just pulling out of my driveway. I was already running behind. But then, I said yes, because family is more important than anything and I will still be on time for my class. It absolutely made my day!
Such a mixture of emotions! I only had 20 minutes to set up the class instead of my preferred one hour, but it all worked out! My classes all went exceptionally well. Two of them I was doubtful about ahead of time because I thought the craft might be to challenging for the younger ones in the class (K-2). It was a bit of a stretch for some, but it went better than expected.
I didn’t mention this, but on my way to work I left a voice message with my husband about the van hatch. He was there to help me load at the end of the day.
TODAY – after watching a YouTube video and buying the necessary supplies, my dh is attempting to fix it. So keeping my fingers crossed!

I am unbelievably frustrated with the company that I work for, they have honestly never given any care to covid and only allowed us to work from home when they were forced to by the government. We technically still have a work from home order in place that they aren’t following.
This morning I came into work and was informed that one of my coworkers called in sick and now can not come back for the 10 day isolation period cause she was experiencing one covid symptom. It gets out that two other coworkers also have a mild covid symptom so they get sent home but allow them all to work from home. So it’s just me and our newest employee left. I’m mad that they just didn’t send us all home. The only benefit to working at the office is being able to ask questions in person, but I can’t do that cause the only other person there has been here for two weeks. So I struggle like I’m working from home, but not actually getting the benefit of working from home. To top it all off if I do start feeling any symptoms only then will the company request a laptop get sent down from our corporate office two hours away. If the company is suddenly so concerned about us catching covid they should be proactive and have us all work from home instead of being reactive and only sending us home to work once we are already feeling symptoms.

ll – it is frustrating how a lot of different places are handling the covid situation – the school policies are different, the senior living policies are different, work places are different- everyone is enforcing them differently or not at all or just sometimes – i am sorry you are trying to cope with this situation – it stinks.
