moms… how is your mom doing ? Hope she is feeling better ! What do you think of the new pet that is coming out tomorrow ? Looks like a new Valentine pet… Based on the Clubhouse e store room it looks like they will be releasing a new koala bear in the near future. We are all hesitant to donate or throw away anything from himself’s home without his approval.. He is kind of like his dad was… He would not throw anything out ! It is making things a bit difficult and drawn out. I think he is planning on coming home in two weeks.
Someone ( my sister) will have to put some pressure on him to make some decisions… I am not sure when the house will be have to vacated permanently…
Anyone following the final season of This is Us ? It has been so good !

Puma… I finally was able to make a baby in Next.. I was really disappointed in that I could not choose which path the pets would morph.. Really wanted the Holsten Cow…

I love that snowy bush, so will definitely be logging on for that tomorrow! Plus, I have been glad to collect upon logging in some of the old clothing items that I missed in the past. It is hard for me to understand how I missed some of those things now that I’m a WW millionaire. But back in those days I was KC poor! Remember when we had to pay for our classes at the academy? Speaking of which, I could not even pass a level 5 strength class today. What???? Usually, I don’t have trouble until I get to level 7 or 8.

Dee,
I cooked a turkey breast on Sunday, and made mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing & broccoli. Plus we had a tossed salad! It was yummy! Since we had a lot of people I thought it would help to have leftovers. Well…they didn’t stay as long as last time, so we have been eating them. But if it was just the two of us initially, I would freeze some of it.
Oh, and happy birthday to your husband, Dee!
Btw, I typed up another comment to submit and my browser totally disappeared and I lost it all. This is the second time this week. And I can’t figure out what key I am hitting on my laptop that makes it all disappear.

Gaga – two times I have written comments to you with them disappearing. Sigh! I don’t know what I’ve said, what’s been posted or what needs to be said. I don’t have time to go back and read it all. I know that himself has a lot to do before the end of February, I believe. Going through stuff is time-consuming and hopefully it will be an example to not collect so much. Speaking for myself, I would hate if my kids would have to deal with all of my things. Even though I did a major purge the summer of 2020, that was just the tip of the iceberg. How did it get so out of control?
Moms – Did you ever get your closet in order? I think that I remember reading about not enough hangers.

Puma – I think you’re the one that was recording all of your pets in the order of adoption date into an Excel spreadsheet. I find it interesting that I’ve been working on a similar project, except I am just doing it in a Word Document because Excel frustrates me. (I need to take an Excel class or something). Anyway, I have mine listed in spiral notebooks…handwritten…and in order. But now I’m transferring all the info into documents because my notebook is falling apart from so much use. I like to number them and list male or female. Name of Pet. Type of Pet. Birthday of Pet. Whether they have attending Kinzville Academy or not. On one of my accounts I started to list the room them that I used for each pet, but that didn’t go very far. I also used to list color. Back in the old days, I adopted pets based on color and how they appeared in Webkinz World. Crazy. I would rotate the colors of pets that I adopted. But with the present set-up (since Year 10 changes), I don’t do that anymore. It is hard to explain my rationale on this. LOL!

Gaga, I’m so glad you got a baby on NEXT! Did you get the beginner-starter-diamond pack for $5? The pets are pretty random, yeah. What kind of baby did you get? Is it just as cute as a button?
QoS, my husband is huge into data collection- he’s got the most gorgeous spreadsheets all formatted for all our home expenses, budget, bills. Every movie he’s ever seen in the theaters, every time he’s been to Disney World, every Cirque du Soleil show he’s ever seen. He’s a bit nuts like that. 😉 I thought about putting their gender and birthdays too, but I think just name, type of pet, and their code is what I’ll stick with. I wish I had started writing down in a notebook from the beginning! I just have almost all their tags rubber banded together for the past 13 years. I’m glad I saved them all, because when I went to recover my account from the archive, they needed a pet code to verify! I just can’t find the code for my first pet, Sunny the frog in 2008. I’m fretting that I’ll have more that I’m missing, AND I hope I have all the eStore emails still hanging around with pet codes in them. Incomplete notations bug me big time LOL
Anyone else catalogue their pets?
The local library was hosting a food drive the other day, and our neighbor grabbed us a box. Cabbage, lovely onions, canned vegetables, and I already have a tomato and frozen peas and corn at home- vegetable soup anyone? With shredded cabbage- should be hearty! I love cabbage in vegetable soup. And tomorrow is going to be 35F for the HIGH, so we’re going nowhere (except haircuts)!
I dug out my giant (and hugely ambitious) cross stitch again. I inherited my stepmom’s embroidery floss collection, and I’m partially through the bittersweet process of combining hers with mine. Together, we have a giant stash of thread. Been poking at my most recent cross stitch, a big piece of butterflies. Ironically, I was planning to gift it to my stepmom when it was finished. Nobody plans on a loved one unexpectedly passing away. :/
Kiddo beat me in chess again this morning- nearly 6 years old, and he’s so reckless, it often works for him! LOL

Ooh, I keep meaning to ask- Does anyone have a pet they super regret not getting? I lately am kicking myself for not getting the soft rainbow tiger- wasn’t it connected with a Deluxe renewal a year or so ago? Right about the time I decided to take a small break and let my Deluxe expire? >.< I might jump for the maltese tiger or the winged tiger, but $100 for tons of points and a pixel pet (Soft Rainbow Tiger is part of a package deal now) is a bit steep for me LOL
How about pets you regret getting? Or just don't really like playing as much? I really reeeeally do not like the Love Monkey very much. Poor Sukima is the last in my list, the least played with pet I own. I don't even know why LOL Same with my lionfish and manatee. I rarely go get them. Having them be in a bubble is a little off-putting.
My favorite thing is when a pet you're not sure about really steals your heart. I got the Brown Dog because I wanted his item for a particular room, and I just LOVE him, in the game and as a plush. And my pelican was super clearance at a buy-out store, so I grabbed him. He's called Mervin, and he's so stinking cute in the game and as a plush too.

Bitter cold here today… Single digits… Unfortunately need to head out early but that’s OK..
dee… How about chicken ? Seems like you haven’t mentioned ” lady parts ” in a while ! Chicken and rice and grilled asparagus…
Puma… My combo of pets was a Golden Retriever and the Holstein cow… Somehow it morphed into the Golden Retriever baby and I guess I didn’t have a choice… Wanted the cow baby ! Anyway… it is very demanding…and slow to grow up !
Sheba… My nephew’s dad was hoarder and I thing himself is showing some of those tendencies… He just can’t part with anything… Needless to say the whole situation is heartbreaking for him and his sister… They are both so angry that their dad would not get vaccinated despite many discussions when the vaccine first became available…. Plus the fact the my nephew had not seen his Dad due to positive Covid… and passed away without having seen him since he was home for Thanksgiving…. So much to deal with for a kid!
My heart just breaks for him.

I cannot thank you all enough for the EXTREMELY generous gifts!! Especially momskinz for the sultan settee and gagagee for the kinzcash coins!! I now have the most KC ive ever had!! and I have been playing since 2009!! (with many breaks in between)

I also should make a wishlist but most things on it would just be the plushies ahah, but i will definitely try and figure out the wishlist process!

Good Morning All !
It is one degree here right now… So cold…
Going to make spaghetti tomorrow… but no gathering … just my mom and I.
Will most likely tune in the football games this weekend…I am hearing through the grapevine that himself is going to ask me to pick him up Friday at OSU.
He is planning on coming home for the weekend.. Would be a great opportunity for some one on one chatting ! His kitty will be going to my sister’s today ..
Will be her new home… She is pretty old (14) and not in the best of health.. She has been in this home since being adopted… Hope the move is not too traumatic for her… She too has gone through some trauma .. hope it goes OK
Sheba… I will I could get motivated to do a major purge ! Really need to clear out “stuff” ! How exciting that your granddaughter has said her first word !

Unfortunately my game froze and I pressed the sell button more than once which caused me to sell all the multiples of the items i was selling 🙁 i made a lot of KC but lost some items i wanted to keep.
if anyone has an extra blue cooler, kinzville academy podium, and train station bed it would be SO appreciated. you have already given me so much so no worries if you cant.

Puma – I never thought to put the pet codes on the spread sheet. I probably have all the pet codes as I used to print out the adoption certificate and staple the code to it. But where those specific papers are I’m not totally sure. In a pile somewhere. Yeah…I hate to reveal that about myself, but I’m a paper “piler” instead of a filer. But I’m working on my virtual records and I also have some 1″ binders labeled: P.A.N.; Wishing Well (exclusives); Kinzville Academy, Code Shop, Spree Mall, and Jumbleberry Fields on my desk. I noticed a box in the corner of this room labeled Webkinz stuff, full of notes and portfolio notebooks that didn’t work as well for me. I really should go through that. Some of it are notes that I took from my Webkinz Insider days. I also have a whole section (1 ft. x 1 ft) in a bookcase dedicated to Webkinz notes. Who knew that I would be so dedicated to this hobby.
Anyway, it is so cool that your dh knows so much about Excel. My dh was showing me today some tricks in Excel that I think are pretty cool. I have only used Excel for financial worksheets. Anyway, my dh thinks Excel is the coolest thing ever and I just tend to stick to the familiar Word Doc and making tables. Ha ha! And this shows my age, but I asked for more deposit slips at our bank today and they have done away with them. So more changes ahead for me.
As far as Next. I have one baby that I’m finally trying to grow. AND I forgot to log into NEXT yesterday! Very rare for me to miss, but I think I missed the Snowy Bush in next. Oh well! I’m glad I got it in Classic!

fyi for folks who live in property taxed states
our car tags are due and they are based on car value
so dhs car is valued ten k over what we paid for it and mine is waaay more than what we paid………..so taxes are up
we would sell them in a hot minute if we did not need cars.
