   My problem is that whether I want the prize or not, I want to complete each challenge. Sigh! I got 2 KC on the iceberg escapades game! I am very consistent in that regard. I’m a bit better with Waddell game but not by much!

   My dd in Spain could not find ingredients to make cranberry salad, so she soaked craisins and was able to go from there! She is quite creative and she said it turned out well. I had sent her my cranberry raspberry jello salad recipe. She added mixed berries instead of raspberries because that was all she could find.

   i’m a 2 kc escapades player too – ugh!!!!!!! ganz – just stop it!

   i actually did get 11 kc in the last game i played to finish 1 account – woo hoo! i got a lot better at waiting for the arrow to be in the right place . . . but most games were just 2 kc

   oh dee, i have to have those prizes – your will power is strong

   Sheba.. I like the challenge too so I usually try and persevere through at least two accounts…even if the prizes are “old”.

   moms.. the most post I was able to get was 4 for the Iceberg Escapades but I did finish ! Looking forward to the Christmas Countdown in the Clubhouse..
   trying to figure out what the ZUM thing is that Santa is giving out this Christmas

    cranberry orange muffins

    2 c all purpose four
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 c sugar
    1 egg (i used egg replacer to veganize)
    1/4 c canola oil
    2/3 c ornage juice
    2 tsp orange zest
    2 cups cranberries, chopped

    preheat to 400
    mix your dry……….mix your wet……….mix together!
    16-18 minutes

    these freeze well…………and there are lots of youtubes out there for zesting. pain, but it really does impact the flavor

    i think it’s ironic that they made some of the december codes expire in november accidentally, but they won’t fix it until the 12/15 update . . . if it was an error that benefited us somehow, they would correct it immediately 😛

    I don’t like the games on the Deluxe challenge either. I have my oldest play the games for me since one of the accounts is his. He enjoys making fun of my lack of gaming skills. I didn’t get any kinz cash when I did iceberg escapades. I am not sure I want to complete the candy bash challenge. I don’t like that game much either.

    topazz………candy bash is game of day today, so makes it easier, i click like mad and run back and forth……..pretty easy!

    we went out scoping winter fishing spots………a lot of dammed lakes due draw dawns in winter and we are old/smart enough not to crawl around on slippery rocks
    found some 2.79 gas……..so filled up! at a shell! in the boonies!

    Dee, do you have a food chopper or food processer? My carrot cake recipe calls for orange and lemon peel. I just put them in the chopper. Haven’t done it on a shredder for probably 35 – 40 years.

    i use a peely thing that dd bought years ago……..saw online about just using grater, but have not yet been that desperate……..ha ha ha
    only make these after turkey day………

    and sadly i have two of the food things………a small one and a big one that dd and dh mostly use……….i like chopping ,,,,,,,,i did use it the big one when i made carrot muffins………never realized that it had the wheel thing on the top to feed stuff into………yeah………i am low tech!
    ha ha ha

    I actually was able to get 4 KC on one! LOL! Mostly 2 KC, though. I’m just doing a little bit everyday. I have most of the bash challenges done.

    Dee – The muffins sound delicious! I’d love to try them, but I hardly ever bake. We will see…..

    I finished candy bash thanks to it being the game of the day yesterday. But this deluxe challenge is going to take awhile, I completely suck at both games and can’t get more than 2kc. I am going to have to take advantage of Waddell being game of the day today. Hopefully the other will also be at some point this month.

    Good Morning All !
    Had a great day in Amish yesterday ! Didn’t really find anything but my sister bought me something for my b day… Christmas Porch Gnome ! It is really cute and will treasure it ! Great lunch and had to steer clear of politics a few times but we had a very nice day…. Happy to be home safely and really tired !
    Interestingly.. we seem to be the only two people who were masked ! Yesterday our news reported the highest number of Covid cases in one year…. Our three big hospital systems have stopped doing elective surgeries due to full capacities and one reported ICU 95% full…. so scary… Six working days for me and I will be wrapping up my career in nursing !

    Sheba… Congrats on finishing candy bash!

    dee… were you able to find a new fishing place ?? Is it really warm enough to be out and fish all day ?

    moms.. How is your tree decorating coming along ?… Hope to start some decorating soon…I don’t fuss too much but love Christmas and as I have mentioned before I collect one artist’s Santa figures which I leave out and enjoy all year long !

    Good morning! Happy Saturday! I am sooooo glad it is the weekend. The weekdays are so busy, and we’ve been out of town, so have not started on my decorating for the holidays yet. But today’s the day! And looks like it will be sunny and upper 50s today, so probably outside first. 🙂

    Dee, you are going to have to clue me in on the 121 thing. I know you’re trying to tell me something, but I’m just too slow to get it … 🙂 Unless those are your Iceberg Escapade scores, because that’s what mine would be. I’m truly terrible at those games. Guessing that your internet is much faster, tho? How do you like fiber?

    Congrats on your almost-retirement, gaga! That has to be a wonderful feeling! I remember asking my dad what he was going to do after he retired, and he replied, “Whatever I want.” Haha, loved that. 🙂 Would love your tips on visiting Amish country sometime. Our kids have friends in PA, so thinking about doing some visiting and would love some suggestions of shops/places to see.

    When is your birthday, Gaga? Glad that you had a nice time with your sister!
    I heard that one way to cut back on Christmas spending is to talk about politics over Thanksgiving! lol 😉 That said, we try to keep the peace by not discussing politics with the family.

    I know there are different views on masks, but I’m most comfortable wearing one when I am out and about! The new version is in the states now (Omicron) and the numbers are increasing in our area, too. Sigh!

    I scored 6 KC once on the Escapades game yesterday! I’m just playing once or twice a day. I finished on one account and I LOVE the prize, much to my surprise.

    Hope you get a lot done today, Miracle! We are hoping to get our tree today.

    gaga- I will not give up! I didn’t quite play enough Waddell yesterday to be done, but I made it more than halfway. But I also just realized I will probably end up doing the challenge on two more accounts since the free deluxe preview at the end.

    HIYA EVERYONE! It’s been quite a year, and I finally made it back here! O.O

    How’s things? I ventured back into WebkinzWorld with Kiddo (he’s 5.5 now!) and I certainly had missed all their adorable faces. I missed you all here too- a million times the past year I thought about bopping back around, and every time I was able to be on my computer, I’d get distracted and forget. >.<

    We're still hanging in there. Husband still enjoys his job he got in 2020, and Kiddo and I are still homeschooling. I actually had him in real Kindergarten in August, but after 4 days of panicking over covid, I withdrew him. Might try again for first grade.

    I've been learning violin since January 2020, and am coming up on two years of absolutely loving it! A family member offered to split the cost of a more advanced and expensive instrument- it arrived yesterday and is just so lovely. I'm giddy and in awe at how great it sound! <3

    I can't wait to read through comments and catch up with everyone! Thank you to the friends who sent gifts while I was on my little hiatus.

    I have a few amazing recipes to share for the holidays! Here's one: Toll House Ultimate Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies

    Ingredients:
    4 cups (two 12-ounce packages) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels, divided
    2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    3 large eggs

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat oven to 375F
    2. Melt 2 cups morsels in small, heavy-duty saucepan over low heat; stir until smooth. Remove from heat.
    3. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in melted chocolate. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in remaining 2 cups morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
    4. Bake for 8 to 9 minutes or until cookies are puffed. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

    For extra holiday yum, I dipped the cookies halfway into ganache or melted chocolate, and sprinkled on crushed candy cane crumbs! 😀
