   Good Morning Everyone !
   moms.. thanks for posting the October happenings ! So much to do this month
   Looking forward to the Ghost ! You deserve a few pajama days moms ! ♥
   Visited my mom a couple of times yesterday… Caregiver texted me early morning yesterday that my mom wasn’t feeling well… I think she was happy to see me… and was actually pretty nice ! She did not want to go to the hospital or urgent care… Stopped back last evening… not sure what is brewing but will keep an eye on things… Unfortunately head to OSU this morning to visit himself.. So excited to spend some time with him and catch up.. Put my siblings on alert for my mom… so hopefully we can enjoy our day in Columbus…

   dee.. not sure what I am fixing tomorrow… supposed to be a rainy day so don’t think it will a good grilling day….

    i finished cookies, swept, did dishes and finished my book
    and did my webkinz
    pretty productive day!
    and kitten wrangled
    training is NOT going well
    at least to me the most important……come when i whistle
    she is always following me, so kind of difficult to get someone to come, when they are already there……
    suggestions?
    and WE are teething………for some reason, my toes are good for that

    mine follow me a lot, but come when called otherwise ♥ when you do have a chance to get out of site, whistle for her – she will learn

    puppy training here isn’t going well either, so don’t listen to a word i say! 😆

    Good evening!

    It’s been an exhausting day, and now I’m just sitting here waiting for SPREE! roll floaties, so I figured I might as well read the blog comments and check in. Anyone else disappointed that the current floaties are back to the normal six minutes apart instead of two and a half minutes apart schedule? I thought maybe the Webkinz team had intentionally made the Fall Fest leaf floaties faster and that moving forward all the floaties might be like that… :/ I get that we have to “earn” certain things by putting in time and work occasionally, but I feel like floaties really should not be more than 5 minutes apart, ever. Six SPREE! rolls times six minutes each is 36 minutes spent on earning six extra plays in the SPREE! game. Even if you play games in the Arcade while you wait, that’s still over a half an hour of time that could be spent doing something else. I know some do chores and such and just leave their computer up and come back, but I always seem to miss floaties when I try to do other things while waiting and that just means I have to spend more time trying to catch them!! I know it is a choice technically, but I don’t have a huge budget for Webkinz stuff, so I have to get what I can when special events come around and things are offered for free! Okay… I don’t know how this turned into a kind of rant, but I will see myself out now…..

    Anyone got any tips for keeping a cat off a tv stand? Kitty like to walk/lay behind the tv and I’m worried that he’s gonna knock it over. I rent so I can’t just mount the thing on the wall (although that would make this a lot easier). I’ve tried putting down aluminum foil and tape, but he just tries to eat it. The spray bottle causes him to give me a dirty look that makes me think he’ll kill me in my sleep, but doesn’t deter him.

    I ended up going with Minty Bacon for the minty pig’s name. I already had a potbelly pig named Bacon and the rotundness of the minty pig made me think of him.

    It has just come to my attention that there is a raccoon planter in the estore. Like a decorative raccoon holding flowers. Why was I not informed of this sooner?

    Good Morning All !
    Had a great day yesterday at OSU… Was able to see himself’s new digs..not as bad as I an envisioned.. The boys did a really nice job fixing it up and making it their home.. I met two of the boys who were so polite and welcoming.
    Went to the grocery store to stock up on food and necessities and then had lunch..Weather was beautiful for travelling and he was ready to say good bye so he could watch the game !

    moms.. My brother took over for the day.. He fixed a clam bake for my mom and spent most of the day with her… I was able to check in a couple of times by phone and she sounded OK.. I know she did not want to spoil our day with himself so she may have been putting up a good front.. Will be heading over this morning and will be able to get a better idea of how she is… My youngest brother is really pretty amazing… always there for everyone… I am surprising him tomorrow with a brand new truck ! Shopped it on Friday and it is my retirement gift to him….decided to get it while I’m still here rather than when I am gone ! I am scheming how to get him there and how to keep it a surprise… Of course I have gotten my mom involved because when she calls him he drops everything and comes running ! I hope she didn’t spill the beans yesterday ! LOL I don’t know who is more excited… me or my mom..

    Otterkinz… this is a great place to come and rant… we all have good listening ears and sometimes it helps to get things that are bothering you off your mind !

    chococat – blue painters tape is the one deterrent that really seems to work with my cats – i put it sticky side up & just turn the ends under to hold it in place

    i had to line our banister with it because they have more confidence in themselves 2 stories up than i do – our house is a disaster right now with the kitten & puppy proofing

    otter – it is a long time, but i usually play quizzy’s &/or set a timer for 4 minutes & 30 seconds in between if i’m watching tv or something

    gaga – you have the purest heart! i am so excited for you getting to give him such a fabulous gift! your mom is probably rallying with that good news too – very sweet of you to allow her to share in the secret! please please let me know how the surprise goes!!!!!

    you need a sensor alarm choco

    dd has one from grade school. came with some spy kit thing we bought her. the alarm is only thing left of the kit……….makes a lovely sound when it goes off……..def will scare the kitty poo out of them…….just make sure you are near the tv to catch it………otherwise, if you are gone a lot….make sure you put a bunch of pillows around it and hope for the best.

    mine work with spray bottle………have only ever sprayed big kitty twice…..now i pick it up and he runs………sad
    kitten has not gotten it yet………she is too fast and i do not want to freak out big kitty……….
    and once again, have not been away from her to work on calling
    she is not a perpetual lap/hug baby like last kitten…..i am in chair and she is on couch sleeping……..

    Choco-Put some thick and tall on either side of it. could even be part of a box taped to wall and TV/ Also a Blowdryer on high but cool right at him the combo of wind and noise should do the trick.

    Busy weekend again!

    I had time with baby granddaughter on Saturday. Her parents took us out to lunch, too! It was pretty special and not on our calendar! 😉 Came home and napped. Then we went on a picnic with some friends and then to an outdoor theatre. It was a wonderful evening, but we got home rather late. A lot of traveling. No Webkinz on Saturday at all.

    Sunday was busy, too. And now I’m up late wrapping up lessons for my Monday classes. Managed to get into Webkinz for 15-20 minutes before the midnight hour.

    Gaga – Your gift to your brother is so generous & thoughtful! And I’m glad you had a nice visit with himself. Glad that your mom has been on good behavior. Hope she feels better soon!

    I always used a spray bottle with water to help train my kitties. Sorry I don’t have any new advice, Choco. Moms sure has interesting advice! 😉 Never heard of the blue painter’s tape idea!
    Thought of my cat on Saturday when I went to the outdoor theatre. I took her blanket with me to keep me warm. It brought back good memories of her. I’m not planning to replace her, but I do often miss having a cat around.

    Otter – I’m with you! Wish the floaties were closer!

    Hey Dee! – You are probably wondering what I took on our picnic. It was boring. We had such a big lunch and we weren’t hungry. So it was just good old PB & honey sandwiches. LOL!

    Choco, instead of deterring the cats from the stand, maybe try reinforcing the TV? You’ll have to check your TV for compatibility but here’s an example: LINK

    QoS – clear contact paper, sticky side up has been keeping the kittens off of my kitchen table until lately when Dolly has started chewing the edges of it – we wonder if she is getting a buzz from the adhesive??? like why?????

    this puppy is the most untrained, ill behaved anything that has ever lived with me in the history of ever, so i know nothing – absolutely zilch, zero, nada

    Q of S- Thanks for thinking about me ♥ Nothing has really improved or got worse with work, just learning to live with it. Got a few long weekends coming up soon with Thanksgiving and my birthday, so that will be nice.
