Hey, guys! I hope everyone is alright and excited for October because I know I am! The new room theme is gorgeous and I’ve already bought my toads so I’m ready to go. I wish they’d release 3 to 4 new costumes a year like they used to but I’m happy with the ones we have this year.

we are home

moms… I am happy that your weather was picture perfect ! I know how hot and humid the weather down there can get.. My brother up from Georgia for the weekend to attend high school reunion..Hope to be able to spend some time with him while he is here.. He will be joining us on Sunday for family dinner… I will have to fix something special.
My mom’s two new caregivers are working out great… My mom really like both of them.. which is not an easy task.. One brought her homemade pierogies with carmelized onions for lunch… and the other gal loaded her into her car and took her to local farm market !! ( also not an easy task )
Seems like things will finally settle down and we can get into a routine with the schedule !
Cassie.. sorry I can’t help either.. Did get some clothing bags but didn’t have much luck..

Good Evening Everyone !
Had a really nice day trip yesterday to Amish with my sister ! Found a few treasures ! She did as well… We had a delicious lunch and beautiful weather…
Day started out a bit chilly… Had to laugh when I arrived to pick her up … She was dressed in shorts and short sleeve shirt… I however was wearing long pants a turtle neck and a long sleeve shirt.. and a jacket !! We are kind of like Mutt and Jeff… Thankfully only a few political comments but I always choose to not hear and don’t answer.

moms.. sorry to hear that your mom’s facilities are back on restrictions.. I am sure it is so difficult for the residents and their families. Hopefully all is going well with your ds’s college classes and college life… Just got a call from himself who is saying that OSU’s students have until Oct 15th to be vaccinated…He is keeping very busy but seems happy… Planning on going down to see him next Saturday..Looking forward to seeing his new place and have lunch.
