   shorty – welcome to the blog! i was finally able to get the seeds, but i would guess i got 1 pack after feeding 12 wacky cobs maybe??? i agree with littleleaf – i think we will see the cobs used again in the future though

   qos – i am sure it feels quiet, but hopefully you’ll have more play time with us 🙂 do you “need” any of the WackyER prizes? i probably have an extra of everything because i play while waiting for the floaties

   been reading………eyes are tired, so done for today
   leftovers thanfully and kroger tomorrow
   saw an ad in paper for a yard sale tomorrow morning advertising
   pottery

   so I GOTS to go……………starts at eight, so i figure with traffic….i will be there at 750!
   ha ha ha ha ha
   might not even shower………just do the old toothbrush and ballcap
   then back home and bathe and to kroger……..no clue what to make next
   altho, i did pull a roast for sunday from the freezer. it is my last one in my stash, but i do not want it to get freezer burny………….dh is not as good as me as rotating things in the freezer. he gave up years ago on stocking the pantry………….smart man!

   we are thinking about a road trip/fishing trip next week….waiting on dh to decide what day………3hrs to even get there

   I’ll probably be okay on the prizes, Moms. We have several more days, right? I’m trying to play at least two a day that give prizes. Mostly seeds, which I already have enough of, but I’m hoping to get a few more of the new items. Thanks for the offer, Moms! I’ll let you know if I’m short.

   I was wondering about Shorty, but thanks for explaining! 😉 I was wondering how I missed a new person, but it looks like I welcomed her! ♥ And I think I remember seeing Shorty here before and I probably after her to the blog!

   Hope you find the pottery you are looking for, Dee! And speaking of road trips…..My dh & I are supposed to go on one next week (several states away). But we won’t be fishing. But maybe swimming. 😉

   LL – Way to go on your PSF collection, if I didn’t mention it earlier. And btw, how is work going? Are you still working in-person? My dh went back in person early in July, but was just told this week that he may need to go virtual again. We will see.

   Well….I need to go get the rest that Gaga is recommending for me! I didn’t sleep well last night and I didn’t intend to stay up this late. (But one of the reasons I’m up late is because I’ve been in a bad mood about some things…. and I’m too wound up to sleep). But I’m going to try!

   Getting my hair cut and colored today.. really needs some highlights ! Too many gray hairs at the part line…
   Celebrating himself’s birthday tomorrow and will be sending him back to school celebration as well.. He is heading down to OSU on Sunday to get key to his new digs for upcoming school year..Going the distance to get a cake !

   Sheba.. Hope your RL issues get resolved ! Nothing worse than being unable to get a good night’s sleep and can’t !

   Thanks to the people who welcomed me back to this blog. I haven’t visited this blog in such a long time. After I posted my comment, I fed two corn and got lucky with the seed. This has been a crazy year with covid and all. We have the face masks with the nose wires, but even so, the glasses still fog up. I need to figure out how to prevent the glasses from fogging up so that the in school classes won’t drive my kids nuts. They did their classes remotely earlier. I might have to look into getting my kids contact lenses. I wish I had a crystal ball so that I could see how long this mandatory face masks in school will last.

   Q of S- Yes still working in person. It is much easier now that I have a car, but still miss the luxury of sleeping in and not having to pack a lunch. Despite an increase of covid cases, the province is removing what little restrictions we have (mandatory isolation). I don’t see us switching back anytime soon.

    Hello everyone!

    The rest was good. According to my FitBit….an 87 sleep score. Anything in the 80’s is good enough for me.

    And unfortunately, I’m still “stewing” (as moms called it). I haven’t been this upset in awhile. Without going into details, in a certain area of my life (not here), I feel unsupported and tossed around. (FYI, dh is not the culprit….he is very supportive). So yeah…I seriously wonder if I would be reacting this way if I was going through the letdown of all the kiddos leaving and the tiredness that comes with long-term entertaining.

    I desperately need a vacation, but my dh and I have different ideas on what to do. Normally, I would be fine with his ideas, but with the Covid cases increasing, I am more cautious than he is. I looked last night and numbers in the places that I checked are higher than they were last year at this time. I don’t understand it. I thought the vaccines were supposed to help. And yeah…I know that not everyone got the vaccines, but still…..it is so disappointing that this issue is still around.

    LL – My dh’s company just mandated masks again at work. And I will have to teach all day with a mask. But fortunately that is just one day a week. Not sure how people do this on a regular basis. My kiddos in the health profession wear masks for their LONG shifts all the time.

    As far as WW – I think the toads are cute! Almost as cute as the goblins! I am tempted to get them, plus I would love to get another trio of goblins.

    I keep forgetting that I’m playing Wacky ER Zingoz as I’m typing this up! 😉

    QoS – i’m sorry you’re still wound up – i am in turmoil over this stupid delta variant too – i want it to be over, and i’m frustrated about vaccines & masks & politics & everything – i wonder if we should have just kept wearing masks, then i wonder if the masks really help, then i read the data that the vaccine seems to reduce hospitalizations & deaths & yet completely understand reluctance to the vaccine as it is so “new” & different & & &

    but meanwhile i am really sorry you aren’t being treated with the value you deserve – it is frustrating to feel unsupported – please let us know if we can do anything other than be cheerleaders for you!

    Ugh, I sooo agree I am soooo over all the virus issues too. We have more cases than we ever had before. Multiple people at work are out with it. Some have been vacinated some haven’t. It’s hard not to stress,

    Still have not come up with the name yet for mine… but thinking ! I am sure you have already guessed what the news might be ! Has your ds left for college yet ?
    Having send off today for himself today ! He won’t be here for his birthday this year as he is having orientation for his new Chemistry TA job…so we are celebrating that as well today… We will all miss him for our Sunday family dinners… Will be a big adjustment for my sister, my mom and me too ! He arrived yesterday with one of my mom’s new caregivers who happens to be a classmate of his sister’s from KSU…and a nurse..Not the first time he has accompanied her to my mom’s… Hmmmm… wondering what is going on with those two !

    dee.. do you marinate all of your veggies too ? Bought some teriyaki marinade just for the beef… shrimp will be plain…Plan on putting it over rice… Have one of those baskets that you put everything in and grill…

    Have been enjoying the Olympics… The US Equestrian Team won the Silver Medal… Happy for them and especially Jessica Springsteen ! She is making her debut on the Olympic Team…I am also happy for local gal who won Gold in Pole vaulting…

    Been a very busy weekend here. Oldest son rode in Pelotonia -200 miles- we went to cheer him on. Pelotonia is a fund raiser to help find the cure for cancer. 100% or the money raised goes to research, no administration charges.
